Same here. I was kind of irked that the combiners that were made after him were supposed to be better than Devastator. I guess when making the toys, they assumed young boy competitive mind-sets, capitalizing on young boys wanting to be the first to own "the best one".

@13:15, Odd, I seem to recall something about Hoist and Grapple building a Solar Tower with the help of the Constructicons. Nothing about a tower that speeds up their merging into Devastator.
That was changed because the calculations to put the Solar Power sphere at the top. Scrapper suggested to help Grapple with the Constructicon team using Devastator!!

It's funny that the G1 characters were represented by the wrong robots. Scavenger but with a picture of Grapple and Scrapper, and the Animated characters were in there aswell.
Devastator picks up 25-50 foot tall transformers with HIS HAND! Devastator is not 4 or 7 meters tall, that guy would literally be 400 feet tall at his maximum transformation, especially picking a 50 foot robot with one hand, think about it. These constructicons are those huge construction vehicles, you can literally put 50 feet in the back of Long truck bed alone!!!!! And if Long haul's truck bed is 50 foot long or so that means he would be 100+ feet tall when he separately transforms. And the constructicons are all nearly uniform in height. Omega also would be 400 feet tall as well, these are some of the larger transformers. Look at Starscream when he stands on Bruticus's shoulders???!!! Starscream is 45 foot maybe and so Bruticus's head would be over 50 to 60 tall?! Ya, no way combiners are a few or 7 meters tall, especially watching them city smashing both earth and Cybertron cities and they look bigger than 30 story tall buildings.
Great presentation of one of the most powerful - if kinda simpleminded- characters in the Transformers franchise... Not to nitpick but even though he is made up of six transforming Cybertronian life forms Devastator himself while being Cybertronian is not technically a transformer.
