For Christmas With The Kranks, I hate how the town reacts to The Kranks who just want to spend the holidays away from their suburb home and try to "encourage" them not to go...people travel for the holidays. You can't force holiday cheer against someone else's will.
I know, right? Plus I like the fact that the people who made the film added Hanson's version of Merry Christmas Baby to the movie soundtrack. #JackFrostDoesntSuck
I will never understand the hate for Christmas With the Kranks. It is one of my absolute favorites. I have already watched it several times this holiday season. And, I’ll Be Home For Christmas was one of my favorites when I was younger. Yes, it was incredibly cheesy, but so was every show for teens back then.
I watch Christmas With The Kranks every year too. I also watch Deck the Halls and Four Christmases. They're not bad movies at all. Jack Frost isn't a bad movie either just sad.
Jack Frost is a great film. Honestly, as far as terrible Christmas movies go, I would’ve mentioned ones like Christmas bloody Christmas because it never shuts up and that animated movie called the Christmas tree with the worst animation and voice acting ever put to film
It's definitely a cheesy film, but I felt the cast at least gave good performances, especially the main kid and Michael Keaton, and I remember the music making the film far more emotional.
This is seriously a unpopular list. I'll Be Home for Christmas, Jack Frost, Four Christmases, Daddy's Home 2 and Christmas with the Kranks were good movies.

How the hell is A Loud House Christmas not on this list ?? It's terrible in everything. The message is basically gaslighting your family and vandalism is excusable as long as you do it for your family.
I must be in the minority who thinks Jack Frost is a genuinely great, wholesome family film that’s perfect for Christmas. It brought me and my late grandmother together when she was still around, and some of my family members still watch it with me.
It was sold on the Idea of a living snow man and the kid's fun adventures with him. going in thinking it's going to be lighthearted fun ruined this movie. But it's a good movie just mis marketed.
I wasn’t mad until you got to number 2. Christmas with the Kranks is great. That’s a hill I will die on. No wonder the Kranks are drinking so much in this movie. I would be too and I've never drank alcohol.
Echoing everyone’s thoughts here… Jack Frost is one of the very best and arguably the most emotional Xmas movies of all time. The thumbnail alone made me comment this! 😤
Ok Watch Mojo, you’ve done it again: “Jack Frost” is a very nice, very warm-hearted movie. One can only presume everyone at Watch Mojo doesn’t have much of a heart or an ounce of sentimentality. Also “The Santa Clause 3” might arguably be the worst of the three “Clause” movies but that doesn’t make it a bad movie…especially when there are a huge number of genuinely terrible Christmas movies out there.
Uh, Christmas with the Kranks is one of my favorite Christmas movie. Is it believable? No. But it's very funny. And I love the ending. Not sure why it's on here.
I get their point of why the whole town cares that they're skipping Christmas, but it has a cool, original storyline and is backed by its comedy and Tim Allen.

I saw “The Nutcracker in 3D” back in the 6th grade for Music class, and it was one of the weirdest Christmas movies I’ve ever seen - especially considering how horrible the CGI on the Nutcracker looked when he turned from a human to wood!
The Nutcracker's voice was also provided by Shirley Henderson, who played Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Goblet of Fire.
I will defend Home Alone 3, it's my favorite in the series. So what if it's kinda more of the same, the whole reason to watch a Home Alone movie is the final trap sequence and the third movie does it very well.
I cringe at the parts where Buddy was putting maple syrup on his spaghetti! 🤢🤮And the part where he is screaming, "SANTA! OH MY GOD!" at the top of his lungs!
@@melissacooper8724I agree! His reaction to Santa coming to the mall almost made me sink into my seat! I had the feeling of fingernails on the blackboard! I can enjoy constantly positive characters, but Buddy was annoying, hyperactive, obnoxious, and overbearing!
10:05 Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Christmas With the Kranks was awful. I mean, an entire neighborhood treating this on couple like bullies at high school just because their Christmas plans were different? That's madness.
My least favorite Christmas movie is “Love The Coopers”. It was so bad it was one of two films I walked out of the theater on before it was finished (and the only one willing).
@@MALettington The other film I walked out of was “Marley and Me”. I went to watch it with my grandparents, and they used to have a golden retriever. No need to explain why we couldn’t stay seated for the whole thing.
I went to the theater to see Jack Frost. No regrets. My brother and I worked all Friday and Saturday morning (11 and 10 at the time, respectively) to earn the right to see that movie and loved *every* second of it. Edit: Same *exact* case with Home Alone 3. Saw it in theaters atls a kid. Loved it and still do to this day(on the slick, it's my favorite Home Alone movie).
I could give you a whole list of Christmas movies that are a whole lot worse than any featured on this list. Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, Santa Claus meets the Ice Cream Bunny, Santa's Christmas Elf Named Calvin. It just goes on and on.
I wouldn’t call The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause the worst. I think it’s a fun movie. Not to mention, it’s probably the first Christmas movie to have time travel
@olivialee7221 While I agree with you that Santa Clause 3 is not the worst Christmas movie ever made, it was a MAJOR step down from the first two. It shouldn’t be on the list
So what I'm reading here is that every movie that doesn't have some jolly happy person acting fake and pretending like the world is all rainbows and butterflies, is immediately a bad movie? It's called life. Yes. Sometimes movies are about escapism, but we generally reward the realism and performances, but not at Christmas? Surviving Christmas? That's 100% what it feels like 99% of the time. You have parents working 80 plus hours a week, just to make sure their children have gifts under the tree. Inflation has racked the country to a point where no one can even afford a gallon of milk, but we are supposed to pretend that we all live in pet houses and lovely brownstones in Connecticut? While we all wish this were true, the more we watch these movies is older people, the more unrealistic we realize they are. Movies like surviving Christmas, finally have someone speaking up and being a butthole for once, which is very much deserved at times. You generally have a bunch of selfish, ungrateful people receiving gifts that you worked very hard to purchase, with money that you may not have. It becomes such an empty feeling it times. I think it's fine to have movies that embrace that side of the holidays. Of course there's the warmness in Cocoa and butterflies, but in 2023, I think lives are much more like surviving Christmas and a lot less like it's a wonderful life For Christmases as flipping amazing and so is Daddy's home and Christmas with the kranks. Does no one have any room for anyone to be mad anymore? Lol I'm just saying.
So funny how there are two Jack Frost movies from the 90’s and none of them are about Jack Frost: the first one is a bad, campy horror film. The other one is a family film about a son whose deceased father comes back as a snowman
i actually liked Santa Clause 3&Deck the Halls. its in the middle of the pack for me, definitely not in the top 10 worst, watchmojo must've been smoking some green stuff
Deck the Halls should've been #1. That movie is like a punishment. Also, in Christmas with the Kranks, Blair didn't leave for her career; she joined the Peace Corps.
"I'll Be Home for Christmas" was funny. I loved the guy who was selling smuggled electronics. "Surviving Christmas" was decent, but the reason it feels so uneven is because most of the dialogue is improvised.
Jack Frost does NOT belong in this list. And let me tell you why: I watched this movie with my dad multiple times a year since I can remember. January 5th was a year he's been gone and this movie helped me through the first Christmas without him. So I know that feeling of losing a parent that young man felt. This movie helped me understand that it's time to let go. The final lesson here is understanding the pain doesn't go away. You make room for it by grieving. So this might be one of the worst Christmas movies ever according to you, but this movie will ALWAYS be special to me because of my dad. I wish people would understand sometimes it's not about the popularity. It's about reaching the right people. Who need a story like this.
I guess this list isn’t counting direct to tv/dvd films because I would definitely count: A Christmas Story 2 Christmas Vacation 2 Jingle All The Way 2 Home Alone 4, 5 and Home Sweet Home Alone, I honestly don’t consider Home Alone 3 a Christmas movie since it doesn’t take place on but after Christmas. I’m also surprised this list doesn’t have Love The Coopers Reindeer Games (which I consider so bad it’s good) Fred Claus Four Christmases Black Christmas (both the 2006 and 2019 remakes)
As It got to the number 1 pick I immediately thought to myself 'Why does Nathan Lane look like Albert Einstein in a Christmas movie about a creepy CGI nutcracker?' 😂😂😂😂😂
Home Alone 3 isn't really a Christmas film, it's set in January, something that is said by one of the characters, so it shouldn't even be a dishonourable mention because of that. If you mentioned any of the other Home Alone films after 3, then yes, put it in the dishonourable mentions.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Everyone pause this video. I just noticed that they showed The Santa Clause 2 (2022). It wasn’t released last year, it was released in 2002
Christmas with the Kranks is great, Surviving Christmas isn’t terrible, Home Alone 3 isn’t a Christmas film (it just has snow), I’ll Be Home For Christmas is very 90s but a decent effort. There are FAR worse films out there
I grew up watching Jack Frost and the Santa Clause Movies, and I liked them. I’m at least glad they had Four Christmases on honorable mention. I watched that in theatres, and about 30 mins in I knew I wasn’t going to like it by the end. I was right. Tried watching it again a few years later, not much better.
9. This is a textbook definition of how NOT to write a protagonist. Now, having a jerk protagonist isn't necessarily a bad thing, it is admittedly a very perilous line to straddle. After all, you can't just put on an air of arrogance and holier-than-thou attitude, wrong everybody you come across, lie about your own personal life, pass the buck on everyone else but you, blame it all on being "too dumb" or "too charmin" or whatever, NOT learn your lesson and expect people to just like you for it. Life. Just. Doesn't. Work that way. The important thing about any character we're supposed to despise is that they have to connect to something we relate to.Whether it'ss someone we're supposed to have no sympathy for or someone we're supposed to see humanity in, SOMETHING has to be recognizable in some way. Because it all comes from real places, and if there's no attempt to understand those real places, you lose the connection. This is why the Jerk Hero here DOESN'T work. He's a shell of what other jerk protagonists were but without any understanding as to why or what made them so compelling. 4. Kirk Cameron's response to the backlash: Because yes, instead of ACCEPTING OUR FAILURES AND LOSSES and admitting that we need to better ourselves, let's just undermine everyone who calls us out. That'll make us feel better! 4 and 2. We're not who we are. We change. ...For better or worse, but we all change. Movies and people like this don't want us to change. They try to shame people who do things their own way. They think the importance is in the details and not the overall message. In other words, they think the importance is in the HOW and NOT in the WHY. This is an absolutely horrible message to teach or relay to people, ESPECIALLY when talking about Christmas! If people actually bought the bullshit these films were spewing, I would tell George Bailey to jump. 1. What's more, every single actor is just horrible! None of the actors actually sound natural, nor do they sound like they're even sort of trying! If this movie didn't kill the careers of the actors involved, there must be something STRONG keeping them afloat.

The Nutcracker's voice was also provided by Shirley Henderson, who played Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Goblet of Fire.
@@cookscreativecorner They should've had Charlie Rowe voice The Nutcracker considering that he plays The Nutcracker's human form.
I will defend Home Alone 3, it's my favorite in the series. So what if it's kinda more of the same, the whole reason to watch a Home Alone movie is the final trap sequence and the third movie does it very well.
💀💀💀💀💀
It sucks
Still much better than Home Alone 4 and 5 and 6.
As beloved as _Elf_ is by many, Will Ferrell’s performance makes me think Walter was justified in rejecting Buddy.
Elf made me laugh so hard every time I seen it.
Thank youuuu , cannot watch Elf because buddy makes me cringe the whole runtime
Home Alone 4 and 6 are much worse than 3. Compared to them, Home Alone 3 looks like Citizen Kane.
There's a 4th, 5th, and 6th Home Alone?
and the 6th is a reboot @@gothleedivine997
We actually loved Christmas with the Kranks! Watched it in the movies when it came out too.
My least favorite Christmas movie is “Love The Coopers”. It was so bad it was one of two films I walked out of the theater on before it was finished (and the only one willing).
That movie was so boring!
@@AJLom5 Yeah it was.
What was the other one?
Is that one where dad dies of heart attack ?
@@MALettington The other film I walked out of was “Marley and Me”. I went to watch it with my grandparents, and they used to have a golden retriever. No need to explain why we couldn’t stay seated for the whole thing.
Surviving Christmas is one I have to watch every year and personally I think Ben Affleck is hilarious in the role
My dad was watching that yesterday and thought it was hilarious
They're mad for putting it on this list. Brilliant film!
The disrespect to Jack Frost is wild, it’s a great movie
I could never hate a movie that introduced me to Fleetwood Mac. Jack Frost is a wonderful fantasy dramedy
I liked Christmas with the Kranks.
Christmas Story 2 doesn’t even get an honorable mention? (to be fair Nutcracker 3-D earned that number one spot)
He gave his neighbors a Christmas gift of going on vacation on a cruise, and the neighbors were mean, but that part makes me cry
I could give you a whole list of Christmas movies that are a whole lot worse than any featured on this list.
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, Santa Claus meets the Ice Cream Bunny, Santa's Christmas Elf Named Calvin. It just goes on and on.
They should’ve put This Christmas Tree (1991) and Rapsittie Street Kids Believe in Santa! They’re so bad I love it! 😂😂😂
Of course there's the warmness in Cocoa and butterflies, but in 2023, I think lives are much more like surviving Christmas and a lot less like it's a wonderful life
For Christmases as flipping amazing and so is Daddy's home and Christmas with the kranks. Does no one have any room for anyone to be mad anymore? Lol I'm just saying.
8 Crazy Nights though it's set in Hanuakkah.
So funny how there are two Jack Frost movies from the 90’s and none of them are about Jack Frost: the first one is a bad, campy horror film. The other one is a family film about a son whose deceased father comes back as a snowman
I liked watching both Jack Frost and Home Alone 3, they were absolute classic movies.
I'll never understand the hate for Christmas With The Kranks! I love it!
I think Home Alone 4 is worst than 3. Beside 3 takes place after Christmas so does it really count?
At least Home Alone 3 made it into the Cinemas. The ones afterwards didn't.
i actually liked Santa Clause 3&Deck the Halls. its in the middle of the pack for me, definitely not in the top 10 worst, watchmojo must've been smoking some green stuff
Latest home alone movie
agree
I'm surprised Eight Crazy Nights isn't on this list. For the record, Eight Crazy Nights is more Chanukah than Christmas, but I digress.
Hannaka film
@@northstarpokeshipper2148 For the record, Eight Crazy Nights is more Chanukah than Christmas.
Literally, *not* a Christmas film.
It's a Hanukkah movie, which is basically the Jewish equivalent of Christmas.
Oh you messed up big time with Jack Frost. Also, Christmas With The Kranks is not even that bad!
I’m guessing the next Christmas list is going to be top ten Christmas movies that bombed at the box office
You didn't mention that The Nutcracker In 3D also made the villainous mice into Nazi-like rats and even made allusions to the Holocaust.
Take I’ll be home for Christmas off this list. I look forward to watching it every year. It’s great.
I'm surprised that Santa Claus Conquers The Martians isn't on this list!
I guess this list isn’t counting direct to tv/dvd films because I would definitely count:
A Christmas Story 2
Christmas Vacation 2
Jingle All The Way 2
Home Alone 4, 5 and Home Sweet Home Alone,
I honestly don’t consider Home Alone 3 a Christmas movie since it doesn’t take place on but after Christmas.
I’m also surprised this list doesn’t have
Love The Coopers
Reindeer Games (which I consider so bad it’s good)
Fred Claus
Four Christmases
Black Christmas (both the 2006 and 2019 remakes)
As It got to the number 1 pick I immediately thought to myself 'Why does Nathan Lane look like Albert Einstein in a Christmas movie about a creepy CGI nutcracker?' 😂😂😂😂😂
How could you put Daddy’s home 2 on here!??? That movie is GREAT.
Home Alone 3 isn't really a Christmas film, it's set in January, something that is said by one of the characters, so it shouldn't even be a dishonourable mention because of that. If you mentioned any of the other Home Alone films after 3, then yes, put it in the dishonourable mentions.
Agreed 100%
Home Alone 6 should take Home Alone 3's place on here, it's just the worst of the HA series. Home Alone 3 isn't even bad.
The Mean one was just a joking parody 🤣🤣🤣
Home alone 3, Jack Frost, and Santa Claus 3 were the best you know?
