An interesting rom hack, I like what you did, making it more sadistic and challenging. Seriously, 70 minutes to get through 20 levels? Damn that's brutal. You really can't fuck around, you need to manage your time wisely or else. The original game was no slouch, it remains the best version of PoP to date. This is a nice tribute to the game with your own little twist on it.
Not only that the Prince beat Jaffar's original mega dungeon complex. Apparently he thought it was too EASY so he rebuilt the dungeons to make it much harder and let Jaffar on the loose again ordering him to "better take it seriously this time".
Will the prince be able to reach his beloved princess in time?

Really cool level design. I humbly think that you used the crouch resource too often to pass through some gates, which makes the game kind of unbeatable for a regular player. And the color palette seems a little off too. Other than that, cool stuff and well done! Keep on!

Watching this game is more inetresting than The Mummy movie with Rachel Weisz.
It was hard work to create these situations to the extreme, where it would almost always be certain death. The Dos version has some differences that favor in some situations and harm in others, but their basis is the same. This atmosphere of tension was created with the purpose of capturing attention in the plot, as well as in the original that has a simple script but that brings the essence of classic adventure films. Vídeo massa, cara! Realmente, tu deu uma modificada pra essa nova versão. O bom, é que eu passo um bom tempo pra jogar cada mod aí, acabo esquecendo as coisas, mas isso é massa pra mim porque é como jogar pela primeira vez novamente kkkk. Por exemplo, eu tive uma impressão agora de ter visto um atalho na 3 e um na 13. Só quando eu jogar de novo pra ter certeza rs. Acho engraçado aqueles Tricks que a gente usa pros guardas caírem sem mais nem menos kkkk e também, saquei que a 19 agora é uma fase de teste, bem legal!

Fico feliz que vc tenha gostado, talvez na versão antiga possa ter esse atalho que vc citou no Level 3, mas certamente nessa ultima versão não deve mais existir, e qto ao do Level 13, esse devo desconhecer, não encontrei possível atalho por lá. Level 19 is such a massive, giant maze compared to the original! Furthermore, the final battles with Jaffar and his royal knights are very intense! I mean, that lava is seriously a deep, major problem for me!
I have a great passion for this game, since I was a child I always liked it very much, and I always wanted to make a version of my own, I was very happy with the result. It was days and hours and endless tests until we reached that final result. Every single person who watches the speed video or plays this version, I am very grateful and feel fulfilled, because this Sunshine Remix version I built for love and care, every room, every single color and detail, every attribute of skill of each enemy. Elves Bassanor : Yes, you're right. The first Prince of Persia is the best among all of the series/games, especially SNES version (but that doesn't mean I don't like other ones from original 1989/1990 PC, NES, GBC, Sega Genesis and CD). However, compared to the ones on other consoles, SNES is the "champion" by far. I mean, those 20 levels with more various death traps, guards, bosses (including that fucking and weirdo Six Hands), even a real hell/inferno with those demonic skeletons!

The part from 1:56 - 2:23 is WAY too difficult. I basically replicated what you did and still couldn't get under the door at 2:21. It's a shame, it looks like an awesome mod to play since I love the SNES version of Prince Of Persia. But the extreme difficulty is hampering my enjoyment.
Thanks for playing this mod of mine, I love this version of snes and created this mod with great satisfaction. As for your doubt, I believe that the important factors in this part are the movements of passing lowered by the doors and the main one is also the sequence of jumps that must be followed very accurately, a small delay can disturb and in the end lower in advance and slip agaisnt by the closing door. @@headlongintocarnage Hey man, believe me. It is possible, time is exactly enough. Try more often and you will succeed, just train a little more. The other Levels are much simpler than the first, if you pass through it you will be able to beat all the others as well.

This Hack was created with the purpose of taking the difficulty to a more technical level. But those who are already used to mechanics can conclude with a little training.

parabens , vc fez um exelente trabalhado, amigo para ter uma idea esse jogo foi lançado em 1989 já se passou muito tempo, sao 30 anos eu realmente nao consigo acreditar como as musica desse jogo foram tao bem elaboradas sao tao perfeitas, nem uma versao do prince tem uma trilha tao perfeita como essa do snes testei todas, mega, sega cd, pc , realmente a konani acertou em cheio no conjuto de jogo e trilha, uma pena que o prince of persia 2 nao seja como o primeiro, é bem generico se comparado com o primeiro, é uma pena mesmo nao ter seguido essa mesma linha, mas enfim continue fazendo mods alem de trazer otimas lembranças é como se fosse jogado pela primeira vez, valeu9
Obrigado, fico feliz que tenha gostado. Na minha opinião a versão de Snes é sem dúvida a melhor, a ambiência do jogo é a melhor. Nessa versão tentei deixar o jogo um pouco mais desafiante e gostei do resultado. Concordo também que essa é a melhor trilha da série, uma curiosidade é que o pai do Jordan Mechner (criador do jogo) Francis Mechner que compôs a trilha original, nessa versão de snes foram dois compositores japoneses; Toshiya Yamanaka e Tetsuya Nakano, os dois fizeram um trabalho fantástico. Uma outra curiosidade é que o Prince of Persia 2 não é superior ao primeiro de Snes porque na verdade ele é continuação do primeiro Prince of Persia do pc (Dos) e não continuação do snes, ele possui apenas algumas melhorias como a velocidade em comparação a versão original do pc (Dos). Já a versão de snes não teve continuação na sequência lançaram o título de Prince of Persia 2 mas não era a continuação do antecessor e sim a continuação do primeiro.
@@elveskz O Prince Of Persia 2 é ridículo, achei ruim, muito mais o Prince Of Persia 1. E os dois são de empresas diferentes, enquanto o Prince Of Persia foi distribuído pela KONAMI o Prince Of Persia 2 foi pela TITUS. E eu queria tanto ter visto uma continuação com esses gráficos do Prince Of Persia 1 e não fizeram.
@@adrielviolinista4752 Isso ocorreu pq o Prince of Pérsia 1 foi lançado originalmente para Pc (dos) e logo em seguida lançaram o Prince of Pérsia 2 também para Pc. A versão do Super Nintendo veio anos depois e não faz parte desse universo anterior da versão 1 e 2, porém o Prince of Pérsia 2 do Super Nintendo é na verdade a versão 2 do Pc (dos) ela faz parte do universo anterior, por isso ela é tão diferente da versão do Super Nintendo, elas não são ligadas entre si, já o Prince 2 é o mesmo do Pc (dos).

Some ideas are good, but there are some points in which it looks like there's no concern for performance issues in the game (such as in 34:20, with blatant framerate drops due to the amount of traps in the same screen).

I've noticed on level 19, when your on the boss on the 19th level, the guards are in diffrent order. How do you do that?

Esse Hack foi eu que criei, se você reparar em 2:23 na parece do fundo vai ver escrito com tijolos o meu nick "By Elveskz". Eu criei essa versão porque sou muito fã desse jogo, é um dos meus preferidos do snes e para mim a melhor versão de Prince foi a do snes, por isso decidi fazer essa versão mais difícil para jogadores profissionais. Tem outros jogos muito difíceis no canal também, dê uma olhada que vai encontrar outros como Battletoads, flashback, Nosferatu, Super Metroid, dentre outros que são muito difíceis de zerar.

Sim, resolvi fazer essa versão para jogadores avançados, onde você precisa utilizar muitas técnicas que são possíveis no jogo, mas não são usadas. Inclusive eu criei um guarda imortal que aparece em alguns Níveis!! Espero que goste e se tiver qualquer dúvida estou a disposição. Abraços!

@@Gamesdasantigas Existem várias ferramentas para edição e criação de jogos, como PVSnesLib (biblioteca) que pode ser usada para criar jogos, mas precisa de um conhecimento avançado em C. Entretanto existem interfaces mais simples exclusivas para alguns determinados jogos como Lunar ips por exemplo, na parte da tradução eu costumo usar o Translhextion que é um editor em Hexa decimal, e quanto a parte gráfica, cores, sprites e senários eu uso Tile Molester. Mas existem vários programas para essas funções.

Essa versão ficou ótima para jogadores avançados, você vai ter que usar todas as técnicas possíveis com o Prince, pois no original, não há necessidade de usar a maioria das habilidades que o Prince pode fazer.

This version is for daltonics, there is no red color. but its ok

The use of this color palette was to differentiate it from the original that uses red a lot. As for the part where the Prince doesn’t take damage to the skull, it’s because in that game the hit box is on the right side of rhe objects. If you notice it is possible to even stay behind the traps Left side.

Existe um soldado que também possui a cor da pele verde 9:25. Mas o meu preferido continua sendo o soldado imortal, que não tem marcador de vida e nunca morre, ele aparece duas vezes no jogo, no level 10 (área secreta) e no level 18 .
