I was always driving old cars, then I've rented new Skoda with large display, I've liked it, what a modern car, but made me watch the display a lot, playing with it, it was actually distracting, a driver's display should be the road's view from the window, physical buttons, you can adjust without watching on them, not trying to find it on screen menu and settings...

This car is truly timeless, not many know the visual design was already finished by 99 and was going to release in 03 before it got delayed by engine issues, yet it could still set the standard by coming out today. Simplicity can remain forever while the excessive detailing on modern cars will only be kitsch in the future. When someone with money actually has the ability to make a fantasy reality, it’s hardcore.

Oh god those wheels they put on it are horrible. But it doesn’t make the car any less cool, one of the greatest cars of all time. An absolute engineering masterpiece, and revolutionary for its time.
I've only seen a few veyrons with nice rims, one from manny koshibins collection and the stradman. Even just the base model rims, i dont know why people go messing with the rims, i guess its just personal preferance
@@isaac2k08 I think the stock rims look the best on the Veyron personally, but putting a different rim on it may allow you to run a cheaper tire. Those michelins run for about 50k a set lol
@@fuze3522 Exactly. The Michelin PAX the car was originally designed around turned out to be a disaster. They never caught on in the broader market and Michelin ended up just giving up on them. They're basically attached to the wheel with an adhesive which allowed very high performance but was just a nightmare to maintain. Now they're almost $50k a set, which is especially ridiculous considering how much tire technology has progressed since 2005. You can now get Michelins that outperform the PAX in every way for a fraction of the cost, so it's a no-brainer for owners who actually use their Veyron to make the upgrade. Any Veyron you see on original wheels and PAX tires is likely a car that is rarely used.

Veyrons have always been my dream car ever since i saw it on Top Gear back when i was a kid, the owner of the company i worked at owned one but he never drove it to work, he would drive his Ferrari, Lambo, Rolls Royce to work but never his Bugatti until one day he did, he let people sit in it and gave a few of them a ride up and down the road. Guess where i was? Booked a god damn personal day so i wasn't working that day. I was fuming.
I'd honestly take this this over Chiron. The classic 00's look and the car was basically completely new & groundbreaking to any other car ever. Chiron is an upgrade to that, the Veyron is the pioneer.
The one and only bugatti, there will never ever be a greater bugatti than the Veyron, it's a masterpiece, a timeless classic which remained absolutely up to date, this car is as close to perfection as a car can possibly be !!!!

The Veyron also has a safety feature. You have to use the car key to raise/lower the rear spoiler and the key slot is inside the door jamb, meaning the car has to be parked up and turned off with the door open before you can do so. It prevents anyone from doing it accidentally and unsettling the car at speed.
Well that’s debatable because the McLaren F1 was naturally aspirated while the Bugatti Veyron has four turbochargers, it depends on what people consider a hyper car, in most people’s opinion, hyper cars are not naturally aspirated, if you are using technology, turbos and/or superchargers to make the car go over 200 and 300 mph, it’s consider a hyper car, while the McLaren F1 use weight saving and a large displacement to achieve that goal, on most websites I’ve been on about cars, the McLaren F1 is referred to a sports car or supercar more than a hyper car, even though it can go over 200 mph.

its crazy now most high end sub 100k cars have close to 700hp. back in 2005 to get a 1000hp u had to pay close to 1million dollars, and adjusted for inflation it was probably more like 3-4million.

the analog clock really isn't a smart design idea in a car tho, you want as little time spent looking away from the road as possible and a digital clock accomplishes that with ease, and yk it glows in the dark as well if you're driving at night, it's really a no brainer if you want people to spend their attention on the road
