The difference between ingame time played , and your OBS recording time might be that ingame timer only counts when time is not stopped in the game (which it seems to be in the menu's and such)
I think the reason the portal wasn’t working during the mid game is because ,the 4 iron was a blocking each other from teleporting,cause for a resources to be teleported it needs to reach the centre of the portal first (based on observation)
He should have focused on getting the water so that he could upgrade the portal, since the congestion problem would have been solved by the ability to improve the rate at which it could process.
Wohoo, thanks a (metric) ton for playing again! Very smart to shred the artifacts for cobalt at that point. The teleporters sucking strength was a bit low, so it had trouble dealing with a bunch of stacked resources - but that's fixed now. And we'll definitely consider adding a hard hat at least for the engineer! :D

It looks sharper and shinier because the pixels are smaller and there are more “in-between” colors. Basically in the demo prerelease every time you opened the game they’d messed with the colors
The old demo had a bunch of different color palettes that it randomly switched between. I think this was because the dev saw he could do it in like three lines of code, so he did. It didn't look great though and I like it better with a consistent look.
You and Drae are on nearly the exact same schedule. The same game, posted at the same time. It’s fun to see how you two approach the same game in very different ways. Keep up the good work!
So pro tip for the teleporter, carry it with you everywhere you go and deposit it near the ore you mine instead of bringing the heavy ore to the portal.... This way you dont need to invest anything in carry strength and can just invest everything in drill strength and defense. You can also coordinate between the lift and the portal... Either make the teleporter teleport you up and down and the lift work for resources, or make the teleporter gather resources as I mentioned above and use the lifts increased speed to help you fly back in time for the waves
In my opinion, upgrading the dome's durability is better than putting that much cobalt into healing since it not only permanently increases the dome's durability but also heals the dome a little.
I would also hold off with healing the dome until i maxed the amount of health, since healing is more of a percentage of max health rather than a set number
The teleporting appears to grab a certain number of resources and pulls it towards itself. If other things get in the way, they prevent the resource from going into the teleporter.

I mean, what's so romantic (or maybe "quaint" would be a more fitting equivalent?) about A) Being in constant fear of those rather demonic-looking alien creatures destroying your dome and killing you B) You basically invading some random planet, exploiting all their resources and genociding those who just want to expel you as the intruder
It looks like they've updated the game since this vid came out, the upgrade window has a different layout for me! I think I still prefer using the lift over teleporting items to the top, especially with how they changed the lift. It's slower than it used to be, but once it starts moving resources they can't be knocked out anymore!

The health meter should be dome shaped with a gradient (Green, yellow, red?) to show where on the dome the damage is. It shows up on the dome already., I'm no programmer. For lack of trying for sure. I admit my proposal seems more complicated than it initially appears. It would certainly alter the way the game is played now. Not big on the graphical update. I like that you can more readily tell the difference between resources,. That jump from VGA to SVGA, is a bit unsettling at first.
Atm it doesn't matter tho, the damage on the dome is just cosmetic - it doesn't matter where it is, the only thing that matters is the Dome's health pool It could show what direction attacks are coming from I guess, but that's pretty easy to just see without an indicator

Not a fan of the zooming in on things to highlight them, saying "look up in the sky" should be enough for me to look there and if I'd rather look somewhere else I should be able to. Especially since in this case, the zoom messed with the end game cinematic of whatever shot up into the sky and killed all the enemies. Zooming in forces the viewer to experience a jarring change of perspective where they can now see less of the content just to highlight something. If it's small or easy to miss I enjoy the zoom in, but I could tell the sky was full of monsters and it was definitely hilarious and worth pointing out in commentary, the zoom is too much though.
I know this question is out of the blue but what would you recommend buying, mini metro or mini motorways as it seems you've played both and recorded it and I'm kinda in a pickle trying to pick each one. Thanks if you answer the question! (Sorry this question is out the blue)
Not RCE but, I own and play both, and Mini Metro is better imho, they're both good games tho Mini Metro also plays well on tablet & mobile (where Mini Motorways isn't available atm) if that's a factor for you

Thai might be the most random question ever. I'm 18 years old from Greece and just finished my final year of school. Here in Greece we have exams that decide on what university you'll go to. If I succeed in this, I want to become a civil engineer but if I don't I want to try and study outside of Greece. So out of curiosity if you ever see this. What university have you gone to?

That's right, it was a bit too weak to pull in resources when they got stacked. We cranked up the pull strength a ton now, maybe a bit too much :D

Could you try Robocraft eventually ? You're engineering skills will pay off in this game
