I wonder if the new internal selection will have focus groups. I hope that it keeps the diversity of ESCZ and not just returns them to the ballad specialists when they made their return before Mikolas.
Imo replacing the vocalist is a case-by-case thing, I can think of several bands that replaced vocalists and it worked well. I'm still undecided about linkin park. So far I'm not into it but I want to give them a fair chance. I know mike wasn't the front man but he was extremely active in writing and producing etc. It is his music, it is his band and his life's work, I can understand not wanting to give up on that. also, a band of this scale, there might be contractual obligations. It could be easier to just have a tour and an album with a different vocalist to fulfill the obligations than to brake the contract.
