When I was on active duty in Phoenix I used to moto camp around the St. George area where I plan to move to in the not too distant future. Thank you for keeping my dream alive.

having an off grid trailer is the best thing. Unless you want to go rock crawling or something the trailer is the way to go! Our Expedition 2.0 from Off grid trailers is awesome!!

So a fews year back we were mountain biking in Moab and got caught in a thunderstorm. The bikes looked like your tires. The locals told us the mud isn’t sand and that it’s actually volcanic ash from 1000’s of years ago. It’s extremely fine and just clogs anything that moves. Great video and thanks for sharing
So glad you guys like Utah! It's my favorite place too. Y'all need to check out Highway 12 and surrounding off road places. I'm sure you will REALLY love Utah! PS gotta love the Utah Highway patrol, I was driving back from Moab a couple of summers ago, hit a two lane and blasted up to 80 MPH to pass slower traffic but then slowed down to the speed limit once passed. A Highway patrolman witnessed my performance, pulled me over and recognizing the fact that I slowed down after passing gave me a warning. Which I might add defeated my attempt to pass slower track as they then passed me while i awaited the officers warning lol

You have to find Greek tzatziki sauce for gyro with onions and tomato on a pita, don’t look at the ingredients of the gyro meat LOL but it is delicious !
It's called mivida soil here in Utah but many locals refer to it as ghost sand because you could walk in it and not tell anything about the person including what direction they were headed.
I would for myself.. prefer just a truck without the trailer.. but with cooking and three people I understand the desire for more stuff. The mud trail looked like it could make your day get worse in short time.
I'm 70 and I have never had a ticket, Ha, Ha now watch me pull out of the driveway today and get my first! 40 years of having to have a DoD security clearance made me extra cautious.

I believe in Costa Rica series you mentioned you are planning to head south of the border for more traveling. Do you think your thoughts on the trailer will be any different? I’ve heard a lot of international overlanders don’t like trailers due to hassles with border crossings, permitting and challenges navigating backroads and tight city streets.
There's always a trade-off because the less tread, the faster it fills the tread and the more likely it won't be following the rig on off-camber situations. Honestly, they need old school front tractor tires with ribs.
**retired LEO here** Most Deputies will warn you here in Utah if you are not going too much over the speed limit. UHO is another story 😉 I love this video.
Utah mud is unforgiving. It's even worse on motorcycles!!! You need to be prepared to sit in one spot for a day until the sun dries that top layer. Carry extra food, water, and clothing always!
