Great question. I've not tried it to be honest. My initial guess is that it would partially work, but it wouldn't take the surround aspect into account.
Thanks for the review. What is the difference between this and Ozone 8 now? It seems as though you no longer require a mastering assistant if this already has the stuff baked into it.
Thanks Todd - yeah you're right there's a LOT of crossover between the two. I think Neutron is slightly more aimed at mixing track by track and the master bus mix chain. Ozone is more for mastering, with Dither, and a full limiter, of which Neutron has er, only a limited limiter. I'd say if you have a good limiter already, you can get a really great sounding track with Neutron and a good limiter.
I find it makes the drums way too loud. Also, my mixes shift focus alot. I do kind of Phil Spectory arrangements at times. I could see this being useful for pretty undynamic EDM and maybe like canned Rock or something.
Agreed. I did have a paragraph in my review that mentioned it was quite narrow in genre usefulness. But I took it out for keeping it concise. Orchestral music for example just wouldn’t work. It’s definitely aimed at genres that have bass, drums and a fixed focus. EDM also.
@@AndyDollerson i installed it,it works, copied the vst files in fl studio folder,it opens in the mixer,i think it needs to be opened in each instrument channel
You answered all my questions/ doubts about Neutron 3. Now I'm convinced 💯💯💯 Great video
Glad!
Great Video...Thanks
+Secondstolive appreciate it. Cheers
Thanks for the demo
Just curious if the plugin would work if I have a fx track with Surround Panner, panning 360 around?

In terms of mixing drums too loud you can alter the category levels to taste.
great!
It works with fl studio?
Not sure tbh. You’d have to check website.
