We discovered Bluey in the pandemic year, and our twin kids were right between the ages of Bluey and Bingo in season 1, and this show came to us at just the right time. It really helped give us more patience with the kids, and reminded us how many ways we can just play with them.
Also, Sleepytime is clear in it's brilliance, but less noticed is Copycat, which is funny, touching, has the usual element of growing up, and where the narrative takes turns you wouldn't think it would in a 7 minute episode.

You know Bluey has flossing because it was created 4 years ago. It’s not anything new, and there is only 2-3 episodes that have flossing in it so it’s hardly cringy. But I’m glad you enjoyed the show.

I wish it was needless to say, but the BD rendition and original song are both masterpieces, so hearing this familiar melody, while a little confusing for the context, made the scene bearable. Just something to point out

i'm 25, i binged bluey by myself and seriously loved it. That shit made me shed a few tears. The characters are very realistic, I'm so impressed by the child voice actors. I want to go the bluey house airbnb one day!

Surprisingly, the child VAs *aren't* famous/professional voice actors! They're kept completely anonymous and not credited (best way to go about having child actors imo). But it is public that they're just some regular kids who are related to cast and crew members.

I will admit happily, I am nineteen, almost twenty now, and there are several episodes that have made me cry tears of joy from the wholesomeness found in this show, including *Sleepytime*.
If you remember the episode, *Baby Race*, that was the one that broke me and I cried like I was the baby in the race.
Baby Race got me as well, due to its beautiful lesson about running your own race and not comparing yourself to others - something a lot of people (including myself) struggle heavily with.

Guess i am getting too old to actually care much about “flossing” perhaps a few years ago, I would’ve clenched my teeth in agony because of the cringe, but now it’s just a dance some kids do. A part of growing up and maturing is not caring about stuff like that anymore. Especially not your embarrassing cingry past, you grow up and just yeah it’s your past, we were all cringe like that, you’ll get used to it. My tip is to not focus too much on the stuff you find “cringy”, because it’s such a small portion of what else there is.

The sleepy time episode never fails to make me at least tear up a little every time it’s mentioned. That and the episode where bandit and chili were building that porch swing
The episode *"Sleepytime"* was at one time #2 on IMDB's highest rated TV Show episodes of all time (only being beaten to an episode of Breaking Bad), and was one of two TV Show episodes with a perfect 10.0/10.0 rating. Until salty manchildish Attack On Titans fans review bombed it because they couldn't handle another show beating their #2 spot. Now it only has like a 9.8 and is like #17 (thanks AoT fans, real mature ffs).
It's still #2 in my eyes though.

Some people made a theory of Chilli ( the mom ) having a miscarriage and there may be a thew things hinting at it too like when bingo and bluey pretend to be Chilli and Bandit ( the dad )
Bingo decided to put a balloon under her shirt and then it pops Chilli immediately becomes horrified like some kind of trauma.Also mostly the parents would comfort the child but when Bingo became sad the only person comforting her was Bluey . Instead you can see Bandit holding Chillies hand both having a devastated look on their faces . Also in sleepytime the planet that Bingo sits on is supposed to be Chillies first child that was never born mostly because it's the closest to the sun which in this version is Chilli .

Loved this video and the concept of analyzing shows. One of my fav genres to watch on TH-cam and I thought you did great! Only constructive criticism I had is that it should be a bit longer and go more in depth, but overall a fun watch!

We watched bluey alot with our 3 girls, it was fun for them and us. It's relatable, to kids and parents. The narrative today has lost the plot on what is wholesome, bluey captures a spirit of light-hearted genuineness that is nostalgic of better times, better family values. There is nothing in bluey that you as a parent have not done with your kids, that's what makes it great.

3:00 these moments are happening because Bluey is a Cartoon that narrows itself to modern reality for both adults and kids. That's why Bluey and Bingo are floosing,having ipads or using words that we consider as cringy because otherwise it wouldn't have been this relatable for Adults or children

I'm an Australian 15 year old with young cousins, and I feel that there are a lot of relatable aspects that apply to me as an Australian more than it would other people. I really enjoy watching it and sometimes I reflect on my childhood experiences that relate to those of Bluey and Bingo. I think it's a really great show and I'm happy that I get to watch it
I thought bluey invented the floss dance,but no it was invented in fucking 2014,I don't remember that year at all for some reason,so I never knew about the dance,so of course I never heard of it until bluey came out,I guess in 2014 I was too busy watching anime to even notice this shit happening,I can bindge watching bluey all day long and not get tired of it XD but I can do that with all of my favorite cartoons and anime shows so maybe that's a fair way to put it XD

You do know that this show was made 5-6 years ago... That’s why the show has flossing in it, it shows the shows age. 💀💀💀 Back when flossing was the dance of children. And it’s fine if you don’t like it I’m pretty sure most people looking back at it don’t particularly like the dance cause if it’s annoying nature and how every parent was subject to having kids or friends of their kids do it all the time.
I started watching it a few days ago. I watch it when I feel like it, and don't binge it. I only watch about 5-10 episodes a day. And I fucking love it. Thanks for cautioning not bingeing it, because it would get painful... fast. One thing that'd I'd like to mention though is the chukdrens voice acting. It's perfect.

I have brother and I have to binge watch THE ENTIRE SERIES, EVERY DAY!! It has gotten to the point now where I can instantly recognize what episode I'm watching just from memory and the first 3 seconds of soundtrack or speech after the intro finishes. it is a good show but the way I have to watch it is pain.
