I used to listen to this song in my drug addiction and just cry, wishing my life were different. My life is much different now, I am 5 years clean. This song always reminds me of where I have been and where God has brought me today. The Lord is so so so good!!

A young college girl that plays piano at our church and has a beautiful voice with a powerful anointing. My husband was always happy when she was home from college to be able to sing. He was diagnosed with liver cancer and he lived 10 months. His funeral was at our church. I knew how much he loved to hear her sing. I thought how perfect it would be. So I asked if she was home from college on Christmas break. We asked if she would play at my husbands funeral.God blessed us that day. The holy spirit was powerful an it was a beautiful peaceful feeling. Non Christian could feel it The young lady came out an began to play this song. God poured his spirit down. As she played hearts was being touched. The song was so powerful there was not a dry eye in the church including the funeral director. We know her very well. She has never cried at a service before. The power of the Lord touched many hearts and some us saved. We give God the Glory we praised him for his Grace Mercy. That we can stand on the word and his promises. To be patient and know that God is always on time always!!! Thank you for this song that has touched so many people. Never loose sight of what Gods plans are for you. Keeping singing and touching so many lives.

To know God is to love him. It is so amazing for me to know someone like God, I go to him when I'm angry, I go to him when I'm sad, no matter what I'm feeling I go to him. And he just understands.. a lot of people tend to run away from God when they're angry. That's the worst thing that we can do. He is the only one that can help us sort out our anger, so that we might forgive.
This world is full of darkness even in the daytime, the sun doesn't shine. No matter who you are, no matter what you've done, no matter what you do tomorrow, God still loves you. Do not let the devil deceive you and to believing that you are the one that was rejected. Because God has opened his arms wide to you and he will fill you with so much of his Spirit. His love for you will not change, he is never discouraged or disappointed in us , and he is never weary of hearing our cries. I hope that you are well now and your relationship with God, I happen to see this message as I was listening to this video. God put it in my heart to reach out to you and to remind you of his love. It never ceases and it never changes. He doesn't expect us to be perfect, he doesn't expect us to understand everything. All he expects is that we accept him as our savior and trust in him and follow him, pray to him always no matter what we're going through, and no matter what we're feeling inside. Please read The book of Isaiah, the whole chapter of 53. And he said for me to tell you the same love that he had for you that day, he has for you now. And he is listening to you, he does hear your prayers. That God answers our prayers in the perfect time, and then the perfect way. Your prayers will be answered , just give him time he hears you. Does anyone else feel that if they go a few days without praying or reading the bible that they start to feel really weak and awful? We cannot do this journey without jesus as we lead ourselves in a different direction which is not necessarily the path god wants us to take.

When people are hungry they fill the void with drugs , food , alcohol , work , sex, extreme sports , hobbies.. etc. But yet they are still left truly unsatisfied.
It's because of what Jesus said is true , we need life from the word of God it fills a hunger nothing else can fill.

I have struggled with depression, guilt and shame for a long time, even though I choose Jesus as my Savior I never understood why and how He could love a person who sinned like I have. This weekend was a cross road in my walk with God. I was ready to give up my struggle, to put down the Cross and live in continual shame. Something changed all this, I realized that to live in the grace and peace of Christ is a choice, every minute a choice; regardless of who we were and are today. Jesus paid it all for us at Calvary and He is with us at all times. On Sunday morning I turned on my radio and heard this song for the first time. I broke into tears because the words were exactly where I was for a long time. As a fellow artist I want to thank God for filling you with the Spirit and how you touch the world with your talent. Thanks Sister for being a light in my life.

I have been battling with depression/anxiety and bipolar disorder and on Tuesday I cut my wrist. I was put on a 72 hour psych watch. I prayed to God and talked to the Chaplin and I came home today. More thankful for him and praising him.

This girl is amazing!!!!!!! I come from a Christian school and we always sing her songs!!! It makes us, middle schoolers, raise our hands and tears pour down our faces. Who ever is reading this please pray for me, ive went through some rough patches in my life and its been hard to not be depressed ive lost family over arguments(my parents got in a fight with my aunt and uncle) ,drugs(uncle overdosed,cancer(my grandmother has been in stage four cancer, and if she gets cancer again she could die), and i barely have no family left to actually spend time with, and i just hope god will help me through my rough times. This week i went to Gatlinburg Tennessee with my youth group from my church, and we watched a movie called "to save a life" and what really stood out to me was the boy was scared to help his friend which ended up commiting suicide which he later found god and wanted forgiveness, which he ended up speaking out towards others in need, and it stood out to me because i felt a connection with our society which i thought, "this is why we have the issues we have, because of people that dont stand up for whats right, if everyone was like the guy in the movie, the world would be so much better, and i relate to this song because i always feel like im letting god down, and that i never do enough to thank him for what hes done for me because in august of 2014 my parents almost died in a car crash where they were hit from behind and they rolled 4 times across the highway but luckily god was with them and they walked out of the hospital that night with no broken bones, and it just breaks my heart knowing that they could have died, and i pray everyday that god will keep me strong, so i dont follow the path of satan, if anybody is wondering, *i go to restoration baptist church*, and i just wanted to share my testimony as to why i have turned my life around, and normally im the type of kid whos very quiet and shy and i dont like to talk, but i felt god has just gave me the strength to share it with someone and i hope someone here who reads this that does not know jesus christ as there savior, please check out a local church because to me the lord fills a void in my heart like nothing else can and thats what keeps me strong, and please do not write something hateful on this if you dont believe in religion, i am just here to share my testimony and to only give a positive impact towards others, i challenge anybody to share there testimony as i did and to not be afraid to speek out towards others

Woke up to this song. I had been crying and praying all night. I know I have my salvation in Yeshua but of course the enemy will keep reminding us of our stained past and the fact of a sin that I'm still weak at. I was so sure that I am not saved but His answer this morning reassured me that I was wrong. Adonai is sovereign and forgiving and by His grace I am saved.

I absolutely love this song and I want to share my testimony because i think it would help someone out there in this troublesome world. I am only 15 and I don't really have a large vocabulary. So here I go, from the ages of 7-11 I was sexually harassed by my Ex-step dad, I never told anyone until February 14, 2012 (Valentine's day) I told my mom and I only told because my mom and her husband were getting a divorce my mom didn't believe me at first she said "are you sure someone hasn't put this in your head?" the next day we reported it, well the case went on for 3 years he was put in jail Jan 12, 2015. Well my mom & I never had a good relationship, well I started smoking & drinking well it was then that I met Andy and Gage and they took me to church I felt the love and the presence there, July 30,2015 I was saved, ever since then I have joined the Drama team and the Worship team. My life has been turned right side up. Also, my mom is going to church now, I am filled with so much joy! 😄😄

I gave my life to the lord around June 2016 my son was born in April and in 6 months my life changed so much. Though it took me 9 months to get him back through the process God molded me into the women Iam today. Lauren’s songs kept me going during that rough time. none of us are worthy on our own account. it is only through Christ alone that we are seen as clean before a Holy God. I, too, am incredibly guilty and fell flat on my face. I struggle with the feelings you describe, but am speaking God's truth over my life and not allowing my emotions to dictate my life. If anything, it is through my hitting rock bottom that I understand the value of the Gospel message in a whole new way and with new depth and gratitude. My understanding of His grace, forgiveness, and mercy comes from painful experience. He is faithful to restore you. He makes the promise in Matthew that those who seek Him, will in fact find Him. What a blessing to have that promise!
I wanna let you know that no matter how far from God you have fallen He still loves you so come back to him- He will never reject you if you come with repented heart- The devil makes you believe that God doesn’t want you anymore because whatever you did is too bad for God to want you to back but the devil a liar - May The Lord Jesús rebuke him!! It has been some nights that i have been having trouble sleeping. Depressed, ashamed, how i ended up this way, thinking of the moments i betrayed my faith...
But, then i stumbled into this video after viewing 'you say'. I was so amazed how the song is so similar to my life.
I kept listening. I could feel the spirit moving inside me assuring me that i am loved, set free and a child of God.

Hey! I battled with anxiety and depression for almost my entire life, and just a little while ago, God had revealed to me what anxiety really is, and through turning to Christ and seeking His wisdom, I have never felt more at peace in my life. Usually when I am in a state of fear, it's because I'm trying to handle everything myself, but when I am at peace, it's because I rest in the simple assurance that God is in control, and He cares for me even more than I sometimes care about myself. I wrote down what God had graciously revealed to me, so that I could share it with others so that God can remove their anxiety and fears as He had done for me.
"A few weeks back, I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression, and was persuaded to consult a psychiatrist, which would most likely result in relying on medication. Every part of me wanted to reduce my anxiety even just an ounce, because it ruthlessly murders your joy and peace, and it steals the pleasures given in our life because we are just in a constant state of overwhelming fear. As much as I was lured to destroy my anxiety at all cost, I still felt very uneasy in my Spirit. I felt the Spirit of God telling me in my heart that I will never find my rest or comfort in a pill, and like the song "On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand." In this case, the desire to seek refuge in a pill would only become sinking sand. I needed to find my peace and refuge in Jesus Christ and His steadfast love. If I truly placed my faith in Him, what reason have I to fear? Anxiety and fear isn't so much a disease, as it is doubt. It's a lack of faith in what God has promised to us and is piercing His divine nature. It is calling God, and what He has promised to His beloved Children a lie. Doubt is a very grievous sin in the eyes of God, but is so easily overlooked, either because we've just become so accustomed to stress and anxiety in our every day lives, to the point where we've become desensitized to the seriousness of it, or we've bought into the deception that it is merely a disease that cannot be overcome. I can say with certainty, that it is a lie straight from the pit of hell. These are not my own words, but the words of Christ Himself. Anxiety is a lack of faith in God. "Why are you afraid, O you of little faith? Matt 8:26." Anxiety is a sin, because "whatever does not proceed from faith is a sin. Rom 14:23." Can we honestly say that being anxious is having sincere faith in God and His love freely bestowed upon us, and His protection over us? If we have sincere faith, then why do we waste our life being so afraid over so many useless things? As I began to cling to Christ and seek Him for His wisdom, He led me to these two particular simple verses. "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and HE delivered me from all my FEARS. Psalm 34:4." And tonight, God spoke to my heart in a way I least expected. I attended a Bible study for a group of young girls, and even though the Bible was intended towards them, God brought this one particular verse to my heart. "Daughter, your FAITH has healed you. Go in PEACE. Luke 8:48." I praise God That He did not allow me to fulfill my desire, because He has revealed to me that I can search to the ends of all the earth, and can seek the Heavens, and I can even go before the glorious throne of God, but if I do not find my refuge in the solid rock of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of lords, who loved me and gave Himself for me unto death, then I will never truly find peace. My peace and security can only be found underneath the wings of my precious Savior, and only then will my anxiety and fears be utterly destroyed by dwelling in the shadow God Almighty."

This is another classic example of a contemporary Christian song that would be a huge #1 hit on any pop radio station or The Blend station on Sirius Radio. Beautifully and uniquely song by a singer that has a voice like no other in music. I was a HS teacher for 18 years after a career in the military and this song and message would have saved, literally, the lives of many kids I knew that took their lives- including one of my own students due to sexual abuse as a young kid. He killed himself to go to Heaven early because he couldn't deal with the pain any longer (and had just gotten dumped at the Prom !!). 22 military people kill themselves every day in the USA due to the crap fed them by the Democrat and Republican parties- wars and rumours of wars never-ending. The secular world has no answer and never will. I became suicidal myself and became a Christian at 54 years old; now 62. I deal with it all because He dealt with it. Traveled from Delaware to Mass. recently and not one single Christian music station the entire trip, but once back in the Bible Belt, things were great. Here in Lynchburg, VA, I'm blessed with 3-4 great channels.
Our government is so corrupt.😕 When I was in conformation class our teacher had a saying, God made it good, sin made it broken but God is making it good again. Prayers for you suicide is such a hard thing to struggle with I know but I think that that's the best thing I could say in that situation. Prayers and blessings to you!!!! ❤️❤️

I'm not surprised that a song like this would get so many dislikes. Whenever I hear this song it gives me such conviction of my sinfulness before the one true Holy God and reminds me how undeserving we are of his forgiveness. It brings about in me a deep repentant heart recognizing that all our righteousness is nothing more than filthy rags as the scriptures say and that our only claim to righteousness can be found in Christ. Perhaps that's a truth that many people when they hear this song don't want to face. In any eventful I'm grateful for how this song speaks to my heart.
