Lists of KW that you would change seasonally like "New Years" "Holiday" "4th of July", etc. and time frames- how soon before the event, holiday- for when you would go in and change these.

Yes, I just list sometimes a bunch of words. Now I'm super pressed for time so my listings are quick and dirty, but someday when I can spend more time I will do some more elaborate wording but for now it gets the job done. The great thing is you can always change them, revise and relist.
Re Plus size - if I’m searching as a buyer I always type plus size just to find stores or sellers who carry plus size since most don’t. So while all stores carry a size 10, few stores sell plus sizes.
Your welcome! I try to put keywords in all the places. I don't do too much with tags. You can to give your items an extra push but I don't spend the extra time. I do a really good title with keywords and then add extras in the description.

I don't know how to describe it...its a black and white, short sleeve dress tank with a black and white fabric that hangs down on each side. I can't find anything like it online and know that is the WORST way to describe it. Any suggestions?
The best I can say is that you can run through all the major characteristics one by one and describe each element, Item type, color, fit, neckline, sleeve length type, overall length and fit, style, aesthetic, occasion, etc - these can just start you off. My keywords list is another resource available to you from my Etsy shop. Once you exhaust all the major elements and style points then that's about it. You don't need to find the exact item, just describe what's in front of you accurately. Hope that helps!

The list when I made for myself was so helpful to just trigger ideas and jog memory of keywords that can apply since its a pretty long list, usually I would get the basics then get stuck then look at list and come up with at least a handful more good keywords to add. Hope it helps you, I've gotten great feedback on it.
I don't sell a lot of shoes or boots for that matter. I would search and see if there are any specific vidoes on it. But you can use another box you may have around the house like from an Amazon purchase. You can ask the grocery store for extra boxes or a liquor store. You can cut open some of the free USPS boxes and make a franken-box to fit the item you need to ship. I think its a good idea not to sell something unless you have the proper shipping items for it so you don't have to scramble at the last minute. Hope that helps.

I always wondered if adding a comma after my descriptor word would mess up the search ex: boho, I also wondered the order of the words. Can I say high rise waisted jeans? I don't know a lot about SEO and how it works, I just know that shoving words in the description on Poshmark definitely brings items up in search..I test it out to make sure. Both for sure! I include as many keywords as I can in the title and then continue adding in the description as it makes sense. I have a listing template video that will be helpful.
Common misspelling and misnomers are also an area you may want to include. Some words are spelled incorrectly more often in search than the correct term or spelling. And I always wonder about how hyphenated words are seen in search. pillbox hat pill box hat or pill-box hat ??? Lagenlook was a new term for me!
Glad you got something new! That's a good point but I don't want to include mispellings in my listing, not sure what to do about that one. Not sure about the hyphenated words either, I'm not really an SEO expert but have focused on keywords as a strategy that has been successful for me

I agree about high rise and waist, but I’ll add that I’ve noticed the poshmark engine pulls results with a partial of the word you’ve searched as well - ie: if I search embroider, it pulls results for embroider and then after that starts showing me results for embroidery and embroidered, so as long as you have the root of the word I think you’re good! : D
you should post a keyword list in the description box or put them up on the screen in the beginning. most people aren't going to want to watch a 26 minute video when they're just looking for keywords, especially when there are no timestamps breaking the video up or organizing it. the video is also very, very rambling; it took over 5 minutes of talking before you even gave the first keyword so i just gave up after that. i clicked expecting to get a concise list of keywords that are popular, but in its current format i'm clicking away. just some feedback i thought might be helpful if you're trying to grow your channel.

I could create a list of timestamps but the point is to watch the video, otherwise I'd just have a blog with a list. Yes descriptions are searchable so I focus on that tags are too but those are secondary in my mind💕
What about frequently misspelled keywords? Like sequence for sequins. Razorback for racerback.

Common misspelling and misnomers are also an area you may want to include. Some words are spelled incorrectly more often in search than the correct term or spelling.
And I always wonder about how hyphenated words are seen in search.

Glad you got something new! That's a good point but I don't want to include mispellings in my listing, not sure what to do about that one. Not sure about the hyphenated words either, I'm not really an SEO expert but have focused on keywords as a strategy that has been successful for me

I agree about high rise and waist, but I’ll add that I’ve noticed the poshmark engine pulls results with a partial of the word you’ve searched as well - ie: if I search embroider, it pulls results for embroider and then after that starts showing me results for embroidery and embroidered, so as long as you have the root of the word I think you’re good! : D

I agree but its good to consider the other perspectives and goals of the buyers too
you should post a keyword list in the description box or put them up on the screen in the beginning. most people aren't going to want to watch a 26 minute video when they're just looking for keywords, especially when there are no timestamps breaking the video up or organizing it.
the video is also very, very rambling; it took over 5 minutes of talking before you even gave the first keyword so i just gave up after that. i clicked expecting to get a concise list of keywords that are popular, but in its current format i'm clicking away. just some feedback i thought might be helpful if you're trying to grow your channel.
Thank you for the feedback. These are all areas I'm working on. I am rambly. I am getting better at editing. I could create a list of timestamps but the point is to watch the video, otherwise I'd just have a blog with a list. Also, this video showcases my larger keywords list which is available in my Etsy shop. So some keywords are discussed here for free and then a list is available for purchase. I'd love for you to come back and check out other videos but if my style and abilities don't match what you are looking for, I hope you find it on another channel.
