The jail in the basement reminds me of the room in the Salvatore house basement that they'd lock each other up when they'd turn their humanity off and others that they would lock up in The Vampire Diaries. Good memories because that is the best show ever.
I won't deny that it's fun to watch, it's like something you watch because it doesn't take much brainpower. The writing/dialoge tells you everything, there's nothing you need to think about because they tell you what to think. They tell you who to think is bad and good despite some of these ppl not being good and some not being actually bad. You always know whats going to happen next bc almost every arc in the show is spoiled by the flashbacks into the past. The characters don't really grow at all, which is weird cuz they literally face obstacles all the time. Zero trauma shown in the show except from Bonnie, Valerie, Enzo, and a couple others, but even then it's not realistic at all. Literally everyone has been kidnapped, tortured and/or killed. Caroline, Bonnie, Elena, Stephen, Tyler, Matt and Damon all act pretty much like annoying, unreliable, unresponsible and unhinged teens throughout the entire show. It feels a little bit like a highschool/college girls fan fiction tbh. But hey it's fun to laugh at. (This is not to say that the actors are bad at acting, they are just doing their job)
Stop making me want to play the game the way its intended to be played, I just wanna make pretty girls! No seriously though, your creativity is insanely inspiring, and not in like a "oh I wanna steal her work" kind of way, your builds and storylines make me ACTUALLY interested in playing the game again (which I never thought I could get back). Also, what shaders do you use for your game? They look so good 😩
I had already started creating a spellcaster family to which I wanted my spellcaster college girl to fall for a vampire and have a spellcaster/vampire family. I was trying to find a house that would be the perfect mix for them and this house is perfect! 👍 This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much and your builds are amazing! 🤩

i like the idea that maybe since the regular human sim is obliviously to their family being vampires, the rest of the family (or at least the ones that are vampires) are really protective over them :)

Ok, so here is the idea I was thinking when I was watching this build: Single father is living in this house with his teenager daughter and child son/daughter (haven't decided) And all of them are vampires. The child really enjoys being a vampire, they're running around in their vampire cape and always pretending to bite people. But the teenager is the type who doesn't really like being a vampire and would prefer to live a normal human life. And then on the other side of town, maybe in willow creek. We have a woman who is married to man and they live together with their teenager daughter is a very basic suburban home. After the husband cheats on her, they get a divorce and the mother and daughter leave the house to live with the mother's mom (grandmom). All are humans btw. After being single for a while she meets a vampire single dad but is unaware that he is a vampire. They date and get married and the daughter and mom move in. The daughter is very curious of vampires but she still isn't fully aware that she is living with a family of vamps. Meanwhile, mom finds out but keeps it from her. The two teenage daughters grow a relationship with each other and the vamp teenager is reluctant to tell the human teenager about her secret. But the human find out eventually and whilst shocked, accepts the family but is shockingly murdered. And so vamp teenager spends the rest of her life investigating, trying to get revenge. You always give me so many ideas!! Thanks
Since in the Victorian and Gothic eras plaster and stucco were very expensive, there would only have been stucco or plaster on the front of the house from where the house would be viewed. There would typically only be brick on the back of the house (unless the house belonged to a lord or a very rich person).
I love this house and how its so normal looking but they are vampires. I find that really creative since you dont have to play with vampires but you could! Your storylines are always really interesting too, and they translate into so many cool builds! I can't wait for your save file to come out. Will you need help making sims? Maybe we can help make sims for your houses based off the stories in your videos. It would be fun to see a house/trailer that's completely run down and the parent(s) are total bums but their teen is aspirational and they want to go to university and they hate their parent(s). So they are kind of a runaway but just not present and their parent(s) barely notices cause maybe they are infected by the strangerville plants
The house/trailer idea seems like a great idea for a storyline, I want my save to have many different storylines, so I may do a build inspired by this comment! thank you also I’m glad you like the build and my storylines! 🥰
Ooooooo I like this!!! Is it available for download? Oh and for your future throat issues, try Slippery Elm tea. U can buy them as Capsules. Boil some water and then open 2 capsules and release the herbs into the water, stir, let steep, add honey and or lemon and sip while it's very warm. It should soothe your throat.

Do you mind it if people renovate and change your builds and upload them to the gallery if you're given full credit and your channel is also mentioned? I really want to renovate this build to be more spooky / classicly vampiry and suitable for non-family oriented gameplay. And I think a lot of people that don't like taking a long time to delete things and refurbish houses would like such an edit of this fantastic build. It is so pleasing to the eye and the floorplan is great too, but for what my gameplay with vampires usually is it just looks too new and I just crave that change with this build to suit my playstyle - as I imagine would some others that hate playing multi-sim households or kids as they are in game now kinda repetitive. If you say you don't like that then ofc I won't release the reno I'm about to do and that's totally fine - still love your videos and commentary. :) Looking forward to what you will do in the new world and werewolf themed grunge items! ♥ (I ofc won't also give my ID here so people will still have to search for your # if they want to see it, out of respect for all your hard work.)

Why do you place lamps above what you’re cluttering and then remove the lamp? I’m new to your channel, so sorry if you’ve explained this already. This such a beautiful build, I rarely see unique vampire storylines but you created one!
This is my second comment lol, but I've actually decided to have my Sim work hard and save up enough money to buy this house. Now if I purchase it unfurnished, will it get rid of the outside decor as well or just the inner furnishings?
I would recommend placing it down into the world furnished, then manually go in and delete all the furnishings, that way your sure that none of the outside decor goes too, and then when moving a sim in I would still select furnished as I’m not sure if some of the outside decorations will disappear!
The swatch decisions are so weird! You used items from 3 different packs but all with (essentially) the same color swatch, yet most packs don’t even come with complete swatch sets
Your build is very good! If I may make a suggestion, you use the word "actually" quite frequently and it may behoove you to try to cut down on that a little. I loved how exquisite the outside of the house was, too, and how you carried that charm throughout the interior as well.

This is my second comment lol, but I've actually decided to have my Sim work hard and save up enough money to buy this house. Now if I purchase it unfurnished, will it get rid of the outside decor as well or just the inner furnishings?
I would recommend placing it down into the world furnished, then manually go in and delete all the furnishings, that way your sure that none of the outside decor goes too, and then when moving a sim in I would still select furnished as I’m not sure if some of the outside decorations will disappear!

how do you use books as decor without a sim trying to "clean up" the books during gameplay?
I find that sims rarely seem to do that in my game, but if they want to do that and remove the decor books I cancel the action!
Whenever I place a house with debug items it gets rid of them.

The swatch decisions are so weird! You used items from 3 different packs but all with (essentially) the same color swatch, yet most packs don’t even come with complete swatch sets

Your build is very good! If I may make a suggestion, you use the word "actually" quite frequently and it may behoove you to try to cut down on that a little. I loved how exquisite the outside of the house was, too, and how you carried that charm throughout the interior as well.
