Have you tried using a phone with a scanner on it to free up one hand? Or having the tablet mounted on the rolling cart?
Good call out! We have software clients that use phones with scanners in their warehouses and we also use some hands-free/wearable scanners in our warehouses. And we've definitely mounted it and attached it to the cart also. All great ideas.
Why don't you dimension the products and only weigh it?
do use your own trucks or ups usps trucks come to pick up the loads at certain scheduled routes, how bro needs to know?
We don't have our own trucks - carriers come and pick up the packages at scheduled times throughout the day.
Do you scatter high velocity product throughout the warehouse or are products kept together?
Hey Cooper! Typically we'll group product sets together (same aisle and slot), however that said, with dynamic slotting we can keep it flexible, as we continue to add more capacity in the warehouse we'll most likely see more scattering - as we also maintain density. The apps are guiding put aways and picking.

On picking up, tablet on one hand and the ohter hand is scanner, I think it's too inefficient. Should have one hand with scanner and the screen together with the other hand free.

Thats a good way to never have to use your brain to remenber where things are. Its no wonder no walmart employees know where anyting is with the phone .
