IMO, a true badminton lovers always rate gideon highly. Only a plastic fans rate him below kevin.
gideon is more of a stable one, doesn't make that many mistakes (at least when he's really in his day) playing more predictable shot,.. but sukamuljo is what makes this pair so special, his unpredictablity, his vision, his technique. if only his attitude can match his skills.
Without Gideon , Kevin will not winning so much titles this year.

Why choose to be a douchebag when one can be respectful? Of course he has the freedom to carry himself the way he likes. Unlike basketball and football, there's no body contact in badminton and the culture between these sports are vastly different.

I love the way them both playing, but Kevin’s skills in making some attractive and acrobatic shots make him stand out more than Gideon. So proud to have this pair for Team Indonesia. About Kevin’s attitude I think as a very young man who’s achieved this far he’s way too proud but I understand and it makes him feeling confident in every match he’s playing. I wish he’ll be more stable and stay focus to control his emotion when something didn’t seem right for him during the match, it happened when the umpire cheated him on the All England 2018 SF against duo Mads. Thank god they still made it! :)
Theres nothing wrong for being confident because Kevin knows he's that good and i believe many people will agree with that. His confident also brings positive vibes to Marcus and one of the reasons why they keep winning.
Esp. Kevin, they are fun to watch too.

Whether he's defending or attacking, he forces the game to such a high speed that very few people can play at. A lot of kudos to Marcus for not only playing at that speed created by Kevin but also staying level headed throughout the match. If Kevin is the playmaker, Marcus is the great finisher, and at that pace of the rallies, that's a HUGE thing. Such a super pair, like never again!!!

Kevin reminds me of Ichiro in baseball. He wields his racket like he is sword fighting much like how Ichiro handled his bat like a samurai sword. Both very accurate and skillful. Both can control where they want to hit the ball or cock with super quick reaction and hand eye coordination. Both small but powerful, agile, and explosive.
