بعد أن جال مختلف أنحاء العالم العربي ودول العالم لمدة عشر سنوات ونال شهرة واسعة في عالم التذوق والمطابخ المختلفة ولا سيما طعام الشارع الذي يطبع كل بلد وحضارته، وصل المتذوّق أنطوني رحيّل والمدوّن وراء صفحة NoGarlicNoOnions إلى العراق.
رحيّل يسعى إلى تسليط الضوء على الحضارات والعادات والتقاليد للبلدان التي يزورها من خلال المطابخ التقليدية والعصرية، و,ها هو يحط رحاله على شاشة السومرية التي سترافقه خلال جولاته في بغداد ومختلف محافظات العراق.
"صمون وزعتر" اسم يجمع اشهى ما تذوقه في العراق وأكثر ما يحب أنطوني في المطبخ اللبناني، بلده الأم.
في الحلقات المتنوعة يزور رحيّل مطاعم ومقاهي عراقية عديدة، شعبية وراقية، يركّز على طريقة تقديم الأطباق ونوعية المنتجات المستخدمة، كما يتذوّق الوصفات اللذيذة ويقيّمها. ليعطي للمشاهد صورة عامة وخاصة عن المطبخ العراقي الأصيل والأفكار العصرية التي دخلت إليه وطوّرته من دون أن يفقد الهوية الأساسية التي يتميّز بها.

بَغْدَاد هيَ عَاصِمَة جُمْهُوريَّة العِرَاق، ومَرّكَز محافظة بَغْدَاد. في عامْ 2016 بلغَ عَددُ سُكانها حَوالي 8.5 مَليون نَسَمة، مِما يَجعَلها أكبر مَدْيَنة في العِرَاق وثانِي أكبر مَدْيَنة في الوَطَنُ العَرَبي بَعَد القَاهِرةُ. وتأتي بالمًرتبة 40 عالميًا من حيث عدد السكانْ. وتُعد المَدْيَنة المَركز الاِقتِصاديّ والإدِاري والتَعليمِي في الدَّوْلَة.
