Social anxiety and going all their banking on their phones is probably why they would ask about tellers being awkward. But it’s nice to be reassured that it isn’t unusual and no one will question you taking cash out. People need to remember that it’s their money and they can do whatever they want with it. The bank can’t deny giving you your own money.
Yes totally! I use to be that way but realized it's my money and they need to let me do what I want with it...or I can go take my money somewhere else 😅
They will ask about the larger amounts for security reasons. They often want to make sure that you are actually the one doing this and not being coerced into giving someone else a large amount of money. They also have a dollar amount they need manager approval on so that it's a bank safety thing too. At least that's what I understood from my friend who used to work at a bank in Washington State. I don't know if it's different in different parts of the country but that's why they would ask where I am.
That makes perfect sense to me which is why I don’t mind if they do it 🤗
I was one of those yelling “road trip!!” 😂😂 Good planning video Desiree! ❤❤

Great video ❤
Thank you!!
Hi Desiree. Okay I have to admit I was kneeling saying “ road trip” you missed marking it!! lol. 😂😂. Great video ❤❤❤

At my bank they love when I give them the teller slips ,and sometimes they ask if I do the cash stuffing system
That's awesome! Nobody ever guesses that I do cash envelopes but when I tell them they know what it is so thats good lol

If I have a successful 0-based budget, my operational bank account, the one I use for all my expenses and etc. I should basically have the same amount in my bank account at the end of every month, right? How do I determine how much I should have at all times? Do I estimate my lowest it could get to and just make sure I have a safe amount above that?
We get gas at Costco, and it often won't let us get gas unless we have $100 or more in our account even though we might only need $30 worth. So to make it easier and not have to transfer money over every time, we try to have $100 extra above our actual needs in our account to act as our buffer. That just made the decision for us, but it's also easy math when you do a quick look at your balance.
People call it a buffer, oops, misc., etc and add it as a line item in their budget so it's still considered a zero based budget. You don't have to budget it every month even. If you didn't use it, just roll it over to the next month and let it sit there.
We always seem to need gas after everything else has been paid. So the buffer has been helpful!
We forgot about an automatic payment that happens only 1x a yr. So the buffer saved us in that instance since the bill was less than $100.
There are no hard and fast rules for these things. The amount you choose just needs to be within your means ie. whatever you can actually afford and fits within your budget.
I actually don't have a zero based budget so I would suggests watching a channel that uses that method to try and get an idea on how to use that in your system. Thankfully there is a lot of content here on TH-cam to watch and learn🤗
Its always this one lady that always ask why I’m pulling out money out of my own bank acount like you said its pretty standard but I highly believe she wanted to know what I was doing with it. Even went as far as to say next time I come and someone can’t pull what I ask don’t say she does that for me. I was confused but I’m not the only one who pull money out of the bank everday. She did that to me 3x I got so annoyed.😅 but I’ve never had a issue only with her cause she want to know what I’m doing with it. It’s pretty annoying
Oh my word! That's literally none of her business! You can always speak to a manager about her lack of professionalism! You have every right to come in every day. It's your money and you can do whatever you want with it! It's not her money, she has no right to say anything about it, and you aren't doing anything wrong. Don't let her intimidate you!
No way! I At the end of the day it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it. I go to a few different bank locations, about 5 or 6 depending on where I am at the moment, and I have never had anyone act that way...that is not normal and not right so sorry to hear that
@@diahi7601 At first I wanted to stop budgeting because of her but where I’m from is a island and its pretty small people mind people business and its so annoying. I will do it agin and next time she ask me I will ask to speak to her manager cause Idk why I can’t pull money out. She also ask if I have a business to why I pulling less than $600 2x a month she’s pretty annoying
@@Happy2planwithDesiree yes I know she was being nosey and wanted to know why I taking money out the bank
I know I wasn’t the only one waiting for you to realize you hadn’t counted the $5 for road trip. 😊 Knew you’d catch it!👍💙💛🪴
Thanks for catching that lol
