My best friend has 3 children and one of them happens to be on the spectrum and is non verbal. He is now 10 and let’s just say life is not easy, I tell my BFF that she is literally my hero and so are you! You are so inspiring. I don’t know how you do all that you do but thank you for all that you do for us! ❤

Really like this new setup. I work for the school district so I can be home with my son during the summer. He is also on the spectrum so he prefers to spend more time at home. He has a couple more weeks with a cast on his arm from getting pushed the last week of school but once its off I really hope to get him to the pool a lot this summer.

We are doing a lot of hiking this summer. It's pretty much free and we are getting outside.

We were planning on doing swim lessons this summer, but my other half had a stroke and now that is out. So the kids will just be home and we will do some park visits when we can.

I live in NC and I’m looking for my 7 year old daughter a good summer camp. Got to get her off the devices😊. Great stuffing as always
Mine are home, with a few light camps sprinkled throughout the summer. To save money, since I am home, we didn't do full on summer camps. Just a couple of half day ones like one week out of each month for them. I felt like that was just enough for them to have some things to look forward to that wasn't being home with me, but not so much that it cost us an arm and a leg. I like to make use of the free opportunities around us a lot in summer too, like the local pool and our library that does a ton of kid activities and programs during the summer. Plus, I'm totally of the mindset that in summer everything doesn't need to be planned for them. I like for them to have the free time to get dirty, invent their own games and activities, and just be kids outside. The few camps we scheduled are really more for me to have a slice of free time with no kids during the summer months.
Come on Emily! In real life, we narrate what we do! I have staff meetings with myself out loud all the time!
