i know that you made this video a year ago, but I am literally crying real tears right now because I followed along this process to open this business account and I'm just overjoyed with tears because so many people tell you to just do a thing and how you have to "execute" this and that without any real instructions or directions. Very helpful! One suggestion if you do a different bank to protect your personal information is to just show the blank page, then fill it out off camera and then show the next one. Would take some editing, but will keep you safe!

@@Keshiaslifeinstyle I absolutely will! I think I am going to use found for my new company and set up lili with the old one and compare. Based on features and reviews alone though it sounds like found is the clear winner. We shall see.

@@sweetjay4lyfe for me they never declined me so this particular bank is very user friendly and easier to separate your personal and business that way it will be less stressful

2. Do you still use found? I’ve seen so many negative reviews about hacks and unauthorized withdrawals.
3. Your initial funding is usually equity and not sales related so taxes should not be taken out
Hi there! Yes I still use Found. I haven’t personally heard any of this feedback but my experience has been a good one. For the initial funding, you can set your tax withholding to 0 so no taxes would come out. I hope this helps.
I just got Found and I absolutely love it so far!! I’m really new with all this tax stuff and I am just confused about one thing. When I mark something as an expense/write off, for example something that is $40 that I need for my business, says “you saved $3.22 on taxes.” I thought tax write offs were for the entire amount of the expense. Why did I only save 3 bucks? Thanks in advance and sorry for my ignorance!!!
I’m so glad you like Found! So, even though you can write-off an expense, you should still put aside the taxes for all your revenue . When you meet with your CPA, if you end up not having to pay, you can keep the funds. Just because something is a write-off doesn’t mean you won’t pay taxes. You will get taxed on your business revenue after your deductions. I hope this makes sense.

Is direct deposits, refunds and when you buy things the same speed as regular banks?
I haven’t had to do any refunds but as far as everything else goes, yes. I haven’t had any issues personally.

1.Can I receive my Tax refund on my Found bank?
2. How do I manually add my external account to my Found bank?
I haven’t had my tax refund deposited into my Found account but I don’t see why not. And, you can link your external bank under > settings > linked bank accounts. Hope this helps! 😊

Itemized or standard deductions? I sell collectibles and the margins are often small. Am I better off clicking itemized deductions or just click standard deduction and let the app track where I'm at with my profits and losses and see where the numbers go???
So this is a personal decision. Whatever feels most comfortable for you. For me, when I was selling product, I itemized my deductions but I was being super meticulous. So, base your decision off what you think would work best for the structure of your business.
Is there a way to get paid from customers directly to the Found account ?
Yes. You can create and send invoices.
Would property managers be ok with paying me as a independent contractor? Janitorial servicing apartment complex?

So sorry for the late response. There’s two versions. You can select the free or the paid version based on your business needs.
Can we use our EIN instead of SSN?
No. You need to provide your ssn.

@@KerriFrancesYou shouldn’t have any issues. It’s just like having a sole prop. But, I would advise you to talk to your CPA, being that’s not my level of expertise. Lol.
So it doesn’t ask for your business EI N or tax ID I would rather put that in then my Social Security number??
Mostly all business accounts require a social.

Like through a third party? Found doesn’t have that option within the app.
If I'm changing my current bank account to a Found account can I transfer my balance from my bank to my found account?

They don’t have live agents. You can do text chat.
They been taking small amount out of my account everyday. 😮
Do you have any automatic extractions setup? I never had this problem.
