Yeah so there are a lot of time travel theories. But since Ezra pulled Ahsoka out at the point of her impending death... she instead did not die... skipped about 2 years and continued to live in the future. Realistically it altered the timeline but not in any drastic way. Ahsoka wouldn't have existed for those 2 years anyway... but this way she gets to continue with a little skip in time. Very interesting and fun.
Now saving Kanan would be a problem. Because that would kill Ezra/Hera/Sabine etc... and also kill Ahsoka in this world because Ezra wouldn't be here to pull her out etc. Saving Ahsoka worked because Vader was the only one there and Ahsoka was facing certain death... pulling her to the future affected no one. Pulling Kanan to the future would kill others.
This episode really is top Star Wars. The ending especially is incredibly moving, but the whole episode really is special and creative. By the way, Emme, the World Between Worlds was motivated by the Narnia story, The Magicians Nephew: there is a World Between Worlds in this book called the Wood Between the Worlds. Maybe you have read the book and remember it?
@@johnmiller7682 People theorize she choose to stay on Malichor until she reached the present so she wouldn't interfere in events but I think she was just stuck there since everyone thought she was dead and Ezra finally let the others know she was still alive and they finally sent someone to rescue her, I know the Inquisitor's TIEs were still there but I figure Vader destroyed or had those taken back after he left
It's pretty wild how Ezra reaching through the portal to save Ahsoka was always the way it happened. There isn't a version of the timeline where he didn't save her, we just never knew how she survived until now. The important thing that helps you understand is that Ezra didn't reach back from the future to rescue her; he wasn't actually in the future when he did it. He was outside of time altogether, so questions of cause and effect and the order of events are kind of irrelevant.

I do wonder if we’ll see the World Between Worlds in Ahsoka. Some of the scenes in the trailer are very reminiscent, and it’s likely that there are entrances in other locations that are strong in the force
Good, you paid attention to the very end of the episode where Ahsoka fought Vaders and her walking off into a structure on the planet after the fight and explosion. The characters thought she was dead, but we were shown that she wasn’t. Therefore nothing changed in the timeline, but this explains it.
Its like the force itself wants Ahsoka alive. The daughter gives her last life to save Ahsoka, the wolves lead Ezra to save her while also learning that Kanans death was with reason so he can accept it and move on.
Ahsoka always survived. We saw her walking into the temple on Malacor after the fight with Vader in full color. It looked nothing like a force ghost and if it was why would she be making herself visible in that spot with no one there to see her. Kanan died, and thus has to stay dead.

The Force put Kanan exactly where he needed to be to play his part and save the Lothal temple. It took four season to figure it out, but he completed his mission as a Jedi. Now, the Rebels will have to complete their mission as Rebels.

I wonder if this World Between Worlds played a part in the Chosen One prophesy, about bringing balance to the Force. Did somebody once go there, see the rise of Vader, and the fall of Palpatine?
Palpatine was making illusions with this "blue flame". Ahsoka was wrong. Ezra wouldn't have saved Kanan and no one would have died. Ezra would only drag the Emperor to the world between worlds. As for the portals, I think it's bad that they were destroyed. They were neither Imperial nor Rebel. It was the property of the Mortis Gods, so the force should decide what to do with it.
And the force did decide. All Ezra did was close the doorway. There was no reason to believe that that would completely obliterate the temple. The force destroyed the temple.
@@johnmiller7682 Fact Ezra had no right to know that would happen. However, the Son as a symbol of the dark side is a symbol of destruction and passion. Touching the Son's hand would always cause destruction, especially if the force user is using the light side.

As already stated for the last reaction, here comes my very long comment, so for anybody how actually gets through the comment I really hope you will let me know by answering and maybe even sharing what you think of "The World Between Worlds". Full transparency: I copy at least parts of this comment because I don't want to write it new every time. Here is my current understanding of it: For me "The World between Worlds" works like "TimeTravel" in Harry Potter (or DARK if somebody has seen that show), meaning everything has always happend. You can't change the timeline, you can just travel through but that will already be considered in the current events. Of course, it will still be desirable to get into the World between Worlds because Characters in the Universe don't know about the Future (not like we as viewers) and would still like to change things at multiple points at the same time and therefore influence the Future, but generally what is Canon now can't be changed when a Character goes into the World between Worlds, it can only be explained (like the end of Season 2 of Rebels was explained in this Episode) That is the reason I think this is the case when it comes to keeping Canon intakt and not making StarWars to complicated and full of plot-holes. Here comes the in universe explanation: This one hinges on the idea that THE FORCE is there to keep balance and that the World between Worlds is a manifestation of the Cosmic Force, the part of the Force that encompasses time and space. Naturally the World between Worlds would then be a bridge between different places and times BUT if you do use this bridge it changes nothing about the time or space you go to since in terms of Cosmic Force there is no Time and Space keeping events apart (as pretty obvious because of how the World between Worlds works). So, when you travel to a different time/space, it is simply like you would travel in the normal world just that boundaries of Space and Time no longer exist. Right, now the last problem: Paradoxes! My personal believe is, that because the World between Worlds is based on the Cosmic Force which is Time and Space (and holds both in place) you simply can't create a Paradox. Remember: The force keeps balance and structure so it would be very strange if a manifestation of the Cosmic Force would allow for a Paradox to be created (the exact opposite of balance and structure). The only problem here is of course that Ezra could have created a Paradox in Rebels if he would have saved Kanan (and killed himself in the process). Here are the two explanations I personally think are reasonable: 1. The simple HE DIDN'T DO IT. The Cosmic Force showed him the event and he didn't create the Paradox because of Ahsoka reminding him that loss is needed. Because the Cosmic Force is a force of Nature there doesn't need to be a limit or some sort of barrier. If it is a natural rule that you can't create Paradoxes even if you have the opportunity you simply can't create them. Something will always interfere (like Ahsoka did in this case). You simply can't explain some natural rules. 2. The vision was not real but in fact created and produced by Palpatine so that Ezra reaches through giving him entrance to the World between Worlds because, as we later see with the flames, in order for him to enter he needs to connect with a person inside and the Lothal Temple will not allow him to enter because you need to use the light side of the force to enter the World between Worlds from that Gateway (I am sure there are others, some maybe needing the dark side or even "the middle"). I find this a pretty good theory, especially because Palpatine appears in the same gateway as Kanan was only moments ago and while we don't know much about the World between Worlds yet, I find it quite hard to believe that a gateway can simply change it's connected place and time. The only thing that is a bit strange would be how Palpatine can do something so powerful but not enter the World between Worlds itself BUT we also know Palpatine is a master of deception so this would be a power he would be very interested and skilled in. Lastly I wand to point out the Mortis-Gods and their different uses in controlling the gateway. Starting with the basics: The 3 are symbols for the 3 directions of the force: Light (Sister), Dark (Brother) and "the Middle" (Father). What is really interesting is that for the Gateway to open in this Temple you needed to connect with the Sister and therefore use the Light side of the force (the map glowed Golden/Light). This is very good for us as no Sith could have entered the Temple, even if they understood what they needed to do. I want to point out that Ezra had no problem opening the gate after concentrating a bit. Now, when Ezra closed the gate he needed to interact with the Brother and therefore use the Dark side of the force (the Map glowed Red/Dark). He did actually managed to pull it of BUT he was so drained from that effort that he passed out shortly after and was probably gone for several hours, considering the Time changed from Night to Day. This to me shows that over the past 2 seasons he has distanced himself more and more from the Dark Side (since the beginning of Season 3) and has truly become a Light-Side Force-User (no Jedi of the old order, like Ahsoka, since he was never knighted by Kanan). What is even more interesting when thinking about this is however the possibility of somebody being in Ezra's position who never had contact with the Dark-Side of the Force. Such a person would probably not have been able to close the gate fully, giving the Emperor a possible entrance into the World between Worlds. Even powerful Jedi like Obi-Wan and Yoda would not have been able to do so since they never connected with the Dark Side and have no experience in using it. Ezra used it extensively in the Past and even he had problems with it. As you can see, Ezra was basically the perfect person to have interacted with this specific gateway into the World between Worlds in order to keep the Emperor out. Oke, that was my comment. I hope at least somebody got through it 😅 and maybe has some thoughts he would like to share
Good job. This was a very well laid out explanation. It looks like we might get more details on the world between worlds in Ahsoka, which is exciting too
@@Josh_Lee_Henderson we for sure will. I personally am a bit worried because this is obviously all my theory and I like "The World Between Worlds" but mostly because of how I think it works. They could also very easily in my opinion turn it into a negative for the franchise if they are not careful. I will say, almost all of the Force-Related Decisions they made in Rebels were excellent, but at some point every creative team will make mistakes. I just hope it is not on something as important as "The World Between Worlds" or characters that are important to me personally like the "Ghost Crew" 😬 Also thanks for that feedback. Even something like that helps me (because English is not my native language so there is always the possible for some very bad structure)
I wonder, if Ashoka survived and was just offscreen from the point of her duel with Vader, could she have communicated with Kanan (eg through meditation), which would explain why he acted like he knew his death was near?
Also if Palpatine had gotten Ashoka I believe he could have entered into the world between worlds as well because she was in it which is why he was trying to capture both or one of them. I believe the door is only closed on the Lothal forever but it can be found somewhere else I think just looking for it will probably take forever since it can be anywhere in the Star wars universe which has a lot of temples, many lost the time.
I think each Temple has a doorway it's not just the one on Lothal, it's just that there's probably only one main doorway where one can enter if they know how to enter, but if one can enter through another door, into the world between worlds they can exist and enter through all doors and alter different moments in time where their is no door from a temple because it's a place between all time and space. Which is why palpatine need Ezra to enter because only someone from the inside of the world between laws can let someone in sincere entered through the main doorway. Lol I probably butchered my explanation to take it with a grain of salt maybe someone will explain it better in the comments section.
Ahsoka fought Three Sith Inquisitors, Darth Maul, Darth Vader and Darth Sidious all within the time span of an hour, maybe two. And she survived all of those encounters. To say thats impressive is an understatement
One underrated episode 😍 This episode is hated to much, a lot of people say it’s just a simple way to have a fan favorite character back. I actually kinda agree with, Star Wars shouldn’t bring to many dead people back like Maul before and now Ahsoka. I agree pls don’t do that to often. But this episode was such a powerful episode in meaning. In so many individual ways to interpret it. Seeing Caleb die forever and letting him go is a really big thing for Ezra’s character. The concept of the world between worlds is very fascinating and personally, I think the way the used it was perfect. Your reaction was wonderful, I love to watch all Star Wars again with you ❤
She wasn't brought back this time. She was always alive after season 2. We saw her walking, we just never knew how it had pappened. She was always saved by Ezra at the time.
@@jennym2276 i know, it was planned like that. And I like the saving. I meant it in a bigger picture, sometimes Star Wars should let people die, let them go.
I think that bringing Ahsoka back is fine and possible because her conection to the fate of the Galaxy is conected with the force in a special way. (because she has the "Life-Energy" of the Daughter in her) To me, Ahsoka is more than just a Jedi but more like a part of these Mortis people. Bringing back random characters (at least in my Head-Canon) shouldn't be possible because it would be too OP...
Let's look at Ahsoka's feats. She survived Ventress twice. Survived two encounters with Grevious when many other jedi fell. She cheated death thanks to the Sister. She Bodied DeathWatch brutally. She went through Anakins overpowered training. She defeated Maul in a 1 v 1 when even Qui Gon and Obi-wan couldn't defeat him in episode 1 (she used her wits and that got her the w). She Survived Order 66. She bodied an Inquisitor with his own lightsaber. She owned two other Inquisitors by herself while the protagonists struggled. She briefly fought Maul again. And she survived encounters with both Vader and Palpatine within the span of a few minutes. If she survived all that but gets killed off by anything in her show then I'm calling BS
@hassansulaiman3848 No need to be a rude customer. I'm just stating facts. Plus, she earned all her power and skill, unlike Rey. If she is killed by anything besides a plan from Thrawn, then I'm calling shenanigans.

Here are the two explanations I personally think are reasonable:
I just hope it is not on something as important as "The World Between Worlds" or characters that are important to me personally like the "Ghost Crew" 😬
Also thanks for that feedback.
The music slaps so hard as always
Your journey is now nearing completion. World between Worlds was something to watch. Amazing to think it was 5 years ago. :)
The Apprentice lives !
finished this episode yesterday !
That's not a little bird. It's the Daughters avatar. It sticks around Ahsoka, because Ahsoka holds the Daughters life force.
I have been waiting for this for a long time
Fun fact the owl is the Daughter
Thank you!
Ashoka is my favorite “ Jedi”.
Ahsoka fought Three Sith Inquisitors, Darth Maul, Darth Vader and Darth Sidious all within the time span of an hour, maybe two.
And she survived all of those encounters. To say thats impressive is an understatement
One underrated episode 😍
This episode is hated to much, a lot of people say it’s just a simple way to have a fan favorite character back.
Ahsoka never died.
Have you heard of Starwars Resistance? It takes place before and during the sequel trilogy.
Ok ahsoka Stan 😂
@hassansulaiman3848 No need to be a rude customer. I'm just stating facts. Plus, she earned all her power and skill, unlike Rey.
If she is killed by anything besides a plan from Thrawn, then I'm calling shenanigans.
@@clasher138 I know I’m not trying to be rude
I'm very much enjoying your Rebels journey, great job! Now for something different: Have you ever seen Steven Universe? If not, I think that would make a great series for you to react to!
Yes!! I LOVE steven universe
If you were in the World Between Worlds, what time would you be in?
Hello!
Is Morai the daughter I can’t remember can anyone help me out with this?
Whst is the next reaction after rebels?
@@EntertainmentFan11 Yep, and the sequel trilogy after that
@@officialmonarchmusicprobably Ahsoka, since it comes out in August and she will probably be done with mando and TBOBF by then

oh, god. Here we go. SW time travel... As someone who has seen Time travel abused in other franchises until everything is convoluted, not happy to see this crutch be applied to Star Wars.
Oh I got my pizza earlier 🎉🎉🎉 that was my other TH-cam channel
