Stunning watching them in their natural habitat. As someone who only knew them as game animals growing up, I have a soft spot in my heart for Antelope in general.
We had view antelope subspecies as pets growing up in kenya and somalia. And one of them was royal antelope its the smallest antelope subspecies weighing only 2.5kg fully grown. We also had gerenuk also known girrafe gazelle

The same happened to me when I was learning English. In Brazil we call them "Gnu", turns out it's a Bantu word, but we pronounce it in a portuguesified (lusofied?) way, as in "gee-noo". "Wild beast" is a very succinct name, when I first saw it I thought it was unflattering for the thing, but it's so numerous it would make sense too, I thought.
This is something I read somewhere. Zebras and wildebeesten often live together because the zebras eyes are on tue side while the beests have them in front. Together they have a larger range to spot danger. on the livestream of Africam they are always together.
You should make a video about the spiral horns. Southern/eastern greater Kudu,lesser kudu, nyala, mountain Nyala, cape eland, Livingston eland, lord derby eland, Western/eastern Bongo, sitatunga, forest sitatunga, and all subspecies of bushbuck.

The Black Wildebeest specifically reminds me of the description of the ""legend" or lore of the "catoblepas" however it is now considered to be any of the wildebeest/gnu species.
Definitely the greatest Mammalian migration, but you can definitely argue that many birds have greater migrations, some flying over 40 times further than the Wildebeest walk, flying over oceans during storms, etc. but at the end of the day, it's all opinion isn't it! This was an awesome video! ☺️
One thing you missed in the information about Mount Kilimanjaro. Yes it is a National Park ... But the photos (clips) shown are not from that park but from Amoseli National Park in Kenya, just across the border from Tanzania. Other than that ... Great video!!!

Yeah you’re right, and bovid that isn’t a cow sheep or goat is an “ antelope” I wish we didn’t have the word, just lumps all these creatures into lion-feed, these guys closest relatives are the group containing oryx/addax/roan antelope/giant sable antelope

It would be pretty cool if you can make a detailed video of how hunting helps conservation, ensures genetic diversity and how important it is for first world countries paying big money to do so.. Thus helping the community etc... Especially in fenced areas. Ideally it would have been awesome if we could have just fenced ourselfves in and let nature roam free and continue to do as it does.. Unfortunately poaching yea... Please man it would be a tremendous effort to do it myself.

In South Africa, the nickname for the blesbok is a Freestate Donkey. They and black wildebeest have a good taste as well and is popular with hunters.

I think they are actually antelopes and not cattle, even though they don’t look like it.

It would be pretty cool if you can make a detailed video of how hunting helps conservation, ensures genetic diversity and how important it is for first world countries paying big money to do so.. Thus helping the community etc... Especially in fenced areas. Ideally it would have been awesome if we could have just fenced ourselfves in and let nature roam free and continue to do as it does.. Unfortunately poaching yea... Please man it would be a tremendous effort to do it myself.
