    I love the doctor but in this episode he should let you finish your questions/comments rather than interrupt. Otherwise great content. Keep it coming

    the byproducts of cholesterol include cortisol, testosterone, and aldosterone. I have a genetic defect that does not have the enzymes to produce cortisol and aldosterone, which sucks because I don't produce stress hormones. The upside to that; however, is that my testosterone is about 900+. I don't know what to think lol

    • @balancemyhormones

      Are you treated with cortisol ?

      What about your free testosterone which is the only one that matters as you should know. Total testosterone is flat out irrelevant

      Be happy about that. Too much Cortisol over time, is a killer

      @@balancemyhormones yes, I have to take synthetic cortisol since birth otherwise I'll go into an adrenal crisis and can't even move.

    Thank you for your videos! :) i'm 27 , training and eating healthy since 19 yo and always was stuck on my weight loss journey and energy levels. on september i started TRT because my levels were around 300-239 from the minimal range of 250. i wish i'd started sooner but i understand it's kinda difficult to give a younger man trt in comparison of a 50 yo man.Greetings from Chile

    My diet and nutrition is dialed in. Can I build muscle with protocol?

    • @balancemyhormones
      @balancemyhormones  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The appropriate TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) dosage varies by individual and should be determined by your healthcare provider. 250 mg per week may be suitable for some, but it's essential to follow your doctor's guidance and have regular check-ups to ensure it's right for you and your health needs. There's nothing "fast" about this if you do it correctly. For those of us who have been chronically low for years, trt is literally a life saver both physically and mentally. It's not just about muscle for a lot of us.

    Tip for teenagers:
    If u are not making gains and libido is off the chart... it is your diet!!!
    Eat normal cut all sugars and maybe some breads and cheap processed cereals. If u get hungry eat natural cheese (has whey) and a slice of beef jerky (with out nitrates) or 1 oz protein like fish chicken.
    Eat nuts or fruits or a salad.
    Work out and that is it.
    Solution people!
    When I was a teen I ate cereal and OJ every day. Too lazy to cook! I worked out but remained skinny. I’m 50 now so I Told my sons to do this and they are Greek God’s in their high schools 🤣👍🏾
    Gen-X’ers know!
