You know you've made an impact on humanity when you travel to a distant country 40-50 years after your song was a hit and everyone in the audience sings along to every single word.
@@theiceman6941 Splitting hairs are we? I could probably have said "was released" rather than "was a hit" but does it really matter? The Help! soundtrack the song was on was an enormous hit reaching #1 in the US and UK and selling millions of copies.
4/25/2022 @Debbie Sims Yes, viewing & reminiscing about songs of these fond memories and good times during our youth, that are days and times long gone by now that will never be again, can bring tears to our eyes. Surely that happens to many people.
I love the fact that when McCartney does Beatles songs he doesn't just do something from Pepper or whatever that are apparently worthy but that he goes back to, in this case, Help! and plays the one's that I like too. And he sings them as they were recorded, with gusto, without a 20 minute solo and incidentally using the same instrument used on the record.
For any other band, this song could have been their career topping greatest hit that they were most widely known for. It's really, really good. But for the Beatles, it's an often overlooked middle-of-a-soundtrack album song, that even some Beatles fans aren't aware of. Greatest band in history. It isn't even close.
This song allways makes me feel young..finally he put it into his set list..The Beatles never played it live which I could never understand as everybody loved it
I know right, they're also helping "facade" Paul's high notes by singing with him so it makes them sound more full (not that he can't hit them, just not like he use too)
Super emocionante, a galera encobre a voz do artista, e os brothers brasileiros sabem todas as letras das músicas, vai vendo,... Paul You Mean the World

Show inesquecível, eu tava lá!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Underrated Beatles song. If it were released as a single it would have been a chart topper and a staple on classic rock stations. But instead we rarely ever hear it. Shame.
No habrá nada igual!!!Jamás!!!!! Que gusto oír esta canción!!!!! ❤️❤️Con mi hermano teníamos cassettes de "The Beatles'!!!!!! Se nos enredaba la cinta!!😃😃
Muito obrigado pelo vídeo, deve ter sido muito difícil se conter pra não pular ,cantar junto sem tremer. Isso sim foi um sacrifício hehehe ( experiência própria) parabéns!
Very common; I noticed it when I went to see Joe Brown; when it came to the high notes, he sang the next harmonic down, and one of the band took the top. It was so well done that it took a while for me to notice it. Since then I've listened out for it with most of the Aging Rockers, and most of them do it that way. Good on them! I'm in the same age group as Macca and Joe, and I could do with a bit of help with the top notes when I'm singing in the shower...
He not only played this song this night , he also played it. The Night Before
Good one!
This song is one of my faves! Yeah, yeah, yeah!!
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!
Well said.

Brings tears to my eyes. First because I love this song and second, the audience singing along.
One of my faves too!

O público iam no coro de Night Before. GRITAM APENAS
Yep me too 😂 ✌️
Underrated song. Really funky in many ways. Faithful rendition. I love the Help! album
One could make a list of Beatle songs that were just album tracks, that other bands wished they could haven’t written.
This would be 1 of them
Agreed it's a fantastic song. He has 100 of them but I always thought this one was underrated. I love Help as well.
Most Beatles songs are underrated, I mean (other than fans) who's heard of No Reply, I'll Follow the Sun, or Hey Bulldog? There's so damn many songs!

Strangely a song that we all loved and The Beatles never put it in their live set..why oh why!

So many praises to the people of Brazil for singing along at such a great volume.
The Brazilian audience sings together loud all the way. No one can match
Makes it pointless him even being here, then.
Amazing! The audience starts singing from the very beginning of the song! In Brazil....a song which is almost 60 years old! Unbelievable!!
Argentineans do as well

One of their greatest songs, which, of course also means one of the greatest songs ever written.
This song allways makes me feel young..finally he put it into his set list..The Beatles never played it live which I could never understand as everybody loved it
Wow. This is amazing! Does everyone loves this song? And if they do, why is it always classified as 'overlooked'? Wow.
This is so cool, the audience is singing the other part
I know right, they're also helping "facade" Paul's high notes by singing with him so it makes them sound more full (not that he can't hit them, just not like he use too)
Used to play this song in my band. I LOVED playing this song, it always got the crowd going and I owe it to Lennon/McCartney.
The best songwriter, composer and musician alive in the SXXI!!! a LEGEND SIR PAUL!
Yeah baby......one of my all time favorite Beatles songs....hell yes!!!
Brazilian audiences are so wonderful!
Wonderful Paul. This man is my Idol. A genius.

O público vai direto no Night Before. Muitos brasileiros na plateia não sabem inglês
I was a newborn when Beatles came to USA, and Paul, Ringo still rockin, makes me feel Young.
I gotta say this is my favourite Beatles song. Springs more memories than any other.

Oh wow, what a great song.
Love this song. And the audience was singing so loudly - fantastic.
Love this song. And the audience was singing so loudly. Magical, beautiful, passionate performance. Greetings from Aleksandra, Zagreb, Croatia 🇭🇷 ❤️😊

I was 15 when this came out, saw them in August concert. Loved the somewhat naughty lines "When I think/ of things we did/ it makes me wanna cry" :)
Alucinante!!🤩
Inesquecível!
I think about Brazil and I immediately imagine the beach, the sun, the people having fun

Wow, listen to the audience!
Simple Simple the Best guy in the world 😊
Great song
Paul's band mates are helping him out on the high "push" notes.
especially his drummer - "silently" doubling many of Macca's vocals to give it more punch or fill in "gaps"
That’s great. Paul has been using that voice since the mid 1950s! It’s had a lot of use.
