I have severe arthritis in my hips, and in my back a nurse recommended hike footwear for me and she said she use them and she was on her feet all day. I bought my first pair and they were just a hair too small but I love them so much I still wear them even with a little squished toe I can walk perfectly and have no back pain or hip pain mostly. Other than being a little small in the front they don’t hurt the sides of my toes or anything like that like the other shoes. I even bought a second pair for winter the waterproof ones I bought an extra size they are a little too big I really wish they would have better size selection. Other than that they are both pretty comfortable and I wear them both often I’m going to get a summer pair soon
They have worked wonderfully. I bought the Lorax first. I also bought the sole liner but I have not used them. The Lorax I use on my morning walk with just socks. There has been no problem. So I bought two more, my hip has stopped hurting and I have been able to walk without a limp. I bought two more pairs of shoes, I love them! I plan on buying the boots. I had some problem with size on the two of the pairs of shoes. The customer service has been excellent. They replaced with no problem and I did not have to return the shoes they replaced.
Thanks @June for your comment. I'm glad they worked out for you. What also got me mad about this company is that the same shoes are listed in Temu for 11.95USD, after paying $60USD for them. I actually found that information AFTER recording my video, even though I made a comparison in the video to Temu quality products. Again, thanks for your comment.

I totally understand where you're coming from, but I have to say I'm really satisfied with my Lorax shoes. Barefoot shoes are meant to give you that close-to-the-ground feeling, which can be a bit of an adjustment at first. But once you get used to them, the support and comfort are amazing! They've really helped me, and I hope you’ll find the same once you give them a bit more time.
Thank you for doing this video. I was going to buy them but, something just didn't seem right to me, they seemed to thin. I thought how can a shoe that lets you feel every rock, stones, and what ever else on the ground be comfortable. So I started researching and ABSOLUTELY NOT, will I be throwing $50 on these shoes. After all my research and videos I've seen, they should be called water shoes, pool shoes, or beach shoes! That's about all they are good for! They offer no support of any kind 🌹
I am glad the video helped you make an informed decision. Actually, after I did the video, I found the same shoes in Temu for $11.59!!! They are also available on Amazon for $50+. It's crazy that they can get away with something like this.
They are called barefoot/ wading shoes for a reason. They are made by Hike but that doesn’t make them a hiking shoe. They are good for rock wall climbing. I think she didn’t understand the actual use of the shoe.
Thank you @pbjmaster for your comment. The FB ad that I saw, that prompted me to buy these shoes, did not mention rock wall climbing. If it had, I would have definitely not purchased them. At my age, I can't do that type of activity. They were advertised as comfortable walking or any type of activity shoes. For my feet, they were not comfortable specifically for the way they slip off and cheap quality of the material. I understand that they could work for other people, but not for me. Thanks again!

Wait, it doesn't sound like you know what you bought. This is a Barefoot shoe. Everything you're complaining about is due to the Barefoot experience. You complained about the thin soul and feeling the ground beneath you but that's how all barefoot shoes are made so you can get a Barefoot experience while protecting your feet. You complained about the holes in the bottom of the shoe but that's how many shoes are made because of air flow and the prevention of smell. Also if you are barefoot, you will get water on your feet just like if you're wearing a Barefoot shoe, you will get water on your feet. All I wear is barefoot shoes and they're all made just like these. This pair is my favorite because they have great grippy souls and I can walk on any surface including wet rocks.
