Never ever use led lights in normal halogen housing, because the light housing consist of reflective surface which are specially designed for halogen lights as it emits less light.... But if you put a led in this housing then the throw of light is more, for you this led is beneficial but the drivers around you may not feel comfortable because of its extra brightness
