I will confess, I stopped watching your videos because they made me feel like what I had wasn't enough and that I wasn't doing as well as I could be. I started watching you again because I realized that it was my own insecurity talking. If I want to make more, I have to do the work and I simply have not. Also, when we find ourselves comparing our finances to someone else, we have to quickly remember that each person’s journey is unique and particular to them. I’m grateful for your videos because you’re where I want to be financially. Thank you for being real and not sugarcoating for those who are still developing.

I started my zero-based budgeting today. I could only save $60 worth of sinking funds, but it WILL get better! I'm already lining up some side hustles. I'm a mom of 3 with a kid in college operating a single income household. I'm starting from ground zero with a ton of DEBT, and you inspire me!! Keep it up!!
If someone feels envious/inferior from watching your videos, it is a personal issue they need to work through, not a reason for you to change the way you do your videos. I myself often feel pangs of envy whenever I watch as the number on your calculator just goes higher and higher, but I know that's an attitude of mine I need to adjust. It would be a different thing if you were obnoxious/dismissive of how much you make, then there would be an issue. But you don't do that; you are very humble and grateful and conscientious of how far you've come, and it's that exact attitude (and humor) that makes me enjoy your videos so much. In fact, you are one of the channels that have inspired me to start my own TH-cam channel (hopefully starting this week!), because you got this far after starting so low and that has been inspiration for me to take initiative in pushing through my circumstances, as well. So don't feel responsible for someone else's personal issues they need to work through ❤
Your videos have helped me figure out my savings plan. I enjoy watching how you're saving and how much you've saved. My savings goals for this year it to hopefully save up a down payment on a home, payoff credit cards to cancel unnecessary ones, and try to pay my loan off as much as possible.
My saving goals this year is only to save 540$ minimum each month, if I save this amount every month i’ll be so proud of myself. I’m just ready for the new year and all the blessings that will come my way🤞🏽🤞🏽
For someone who is struggling, I think hearing you talk about your struggle and seeing how far you've come, is a big inspiration. Beside ppl can always go back and watch your first videos to see the starting point. And you also have advice for us now, that you didn't have last year. One day, we'll all be in a position to share our goals and we'll feel so good about because the people that paved the way before us, shared theirs!!! :) Also, the budget mom shared her goal a couple years ago to buy her dream home with cash and she did it!!! So many people thought it was ridiculous and gave her so much grief over it but she stuck to it and now honestly, I feel like it's so much more possible to do something like that BECAUSE she shared that goal with us and we got to see her reach it!!

I am in no position to save a lot right now so I set my goal for this year to increasing my income and paying debt! If someone ends up feeling bad about you being able to set goals and achieve them then they need to reevaluate their mindset. PERIOD!

My two cents (and I know you're probably getting a lot of opinions on this): Don't lower your goals. While it's really great that you want to meet people where they're at, you wouldn't be true to yourself and what you're trying to manifest. Instead, and what's more valuable, is teaching your community how to customize their budget and savings to work for them and their priorities, and sharing your story of growth and progress. Also, I love that you're taking your time to sit with your goals and figure out what's right. I feel like too many people rush that, and then they aren't as motivated to achieve them because they weren't fully aligned to begin with. Also, nothing wrong changing up envelopes and binders. It keeps things fun and fresh, which helps with motivation. And the new labels are easier to read. 😉
I hear what you’re saying about setting goals. But realize there are people on here who have higher incomes and goals as well. Unapologetically make your goals and realize that just as you’ve influenced so many people to save and consistently budget. Your goals and desires will help others realize they will go higher too. Stay true to your desires and journeys. Set an intention that your baddies will comprehend, apply, grow and elevate from the information you share, and follow you more than ever. This platform will be relevant no matter how high you soar. DONOT HOLD BACK AT ALL…(that’s a number one rule of Baddies)
Still getting all my stuff to setup my binders. This year I want to be more minimal with my Envelopes and binders. I felt Like to many envelopes was overwhelming for me and I HAD to stuff everyone single one. I’m still breaking down all of our sinking funds. But hopefully I’ll be done with everything this week! It’s so hard not to compare yourself to others! We all want better or more. But I hope it’s motivation than anything. I started a binder last weekend and last night I was going through a list of what I want to save for. Like I have an envelope for a house, I was going through to see what amount I want for a goal. Like, mini categories-decor, furniture, electric, heat, you know things that come with owning a house lol it made me feel a little discouraged because how in the world am I going to hit those goals when I don't get a lot. A majority of my money goes to debt. I need a side hustle lol. Anyways. This month I'm actually able to save some money since I got to pay all my credit card payments! Excited!

Sooo I do feel like I don’t have the capability right now to save the kind of money that you have in less than a year but I can appreciate that everyone’s journey is different and everyone’s income and bills are different. So your channel doesn’t discourage me in any way, it more makes me wide eyed and thinking “ok I can do this I can get there one day”. It also is nice that you even considered our feelings in that. I know that some people will say people don’t really care and you do you but it’s really the fact that you thought of us at all. That being said one of my goals is to finally be able to use a 1k slip lol I just started in July and I didn’t get to use one for 2021 so hopefully this year!!

You will NOT come off as a jerk for having goals! Witnessing your journey will definitely be an inspiration! I am in no position to save a lot right now so I set my goal for this year to increasing my income and paying debt! If someone ends up feeling bad about you being able to set goals and achieve them then they need to reevaluate their mindset. PERIOD!

I think the fact that you’re so real and have big goals is what makes it so genuine. I’d still watch your videos if you said you only care about making a trillion dollars. I saw your TikTok and you are what inspired me to start this journey, and because of that, my husband and I are on track to be debt free by 12/31/2023! My two cents (and I know you're probably getting a lot of opinions on this): Don't lower your goals. While it's really great that you want to meet people where they're at, you wouldn't be true to yourself and what you're trying to manifest. Instead, and what's more valuable, is teaching your community how to customize their budget and savings to work for them and their priorities, and sharing your story of growth and progress.
Also, I love that you're taking your time to sit with your goals and figure out what's right. I feel like too many people rush that, and then they aren't as motivated to achieve them because they weren't fully aligned to begin with.
Also, nothing wrong changing up envelopes and binders. It keeps things fun and fresh, which helps with motivation. And the new labels are easier to read. 😉

I hear what you’re saying about setting goals. But realize there are people on here who have higher incomes and goals as well. Unapologetically make your goals and realize that just as you’ve influenced so many people to save and consistently budget. Your goals and desires will help others realize they will go higher too.
Stay true to your desires and journeys. Set an intention that your baddies will comprehend, apply, grow and elevate from the information you share, and follow you more than ever. This platform will be relevant no matter how high you soar. DONOT HOLD BACK AT ALL…(that’s a number one rule of Baddies)

It’s so hard not to compare yourself to others! We all want better or more. But I hope it’s motivation than anything. As much as I want to SAVE I keep reminding myself our main goal is DEBT sooo that we are ABLE to SAVE like we want! ☺️

I started a binder last weekend and last night I was going through a list of what I want to save for. Like I have an envelope for a house, I was going through to see what amount I want for a goal. Like, mini categories-decor, furniture, electric, heat, you know things that come with owning a house lol it made me feel a little discouraged because how in the world am I going to hit those goals when I don't get a lot. A majority of my money goes to debt. I need a side hustle lol. Anyways. This month I'm actually able to save some money since I got to pay all my credit card payments! Excited!

Sooo I do feel like I don’t have the capability right now to save the kind of money that you have in less than a year but I can appreciate that everyone’s journey is different and everyone’s income and bills are different. So your channel doesn’t discourage me in any way, it more makes me wide eyed and thinking “ok I can do this I can get there one day”. It also is nice that you even considered our feelings in that. I know that some people will say people don’t really care and you do you but it’s really the fact that you thought of us at all.
That being said one of my goals is to finally be able to use a 1k slip lol I just started in July and I didn’t get to use one for 2021 so hopefully this year!!
