- Hi Everyone,
In this art school vlog I bring you guys along through a couple weeks of classes as a foundation student at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. I'm currently studying a digital media class intro to animation, humanities and printmaking. In this video I work on creating my first dry point etching prints and I start my first ever 2D animated walk cycle. This semester has been filled with learning new techniques and exploring more of the school ! I hope you guys have been enjoying my videos!

YOUR FINAL PRINTS LOOK SO COOL WOW! The steampunk mixed with the rough look that came from the excess ink is just so cool. Also, I noticed you have your dog (Stevie?) with you! Is that because you live with your parents or because the housing place allowed you to?

Did you choose animation class, or is it mandatory as a foundation student (I mean at that frequency)? Because you seem to do much more animation projects than other assignments (unless it's because these are the one taking more time).
And have you any regret going to art school so far (apart from these long essays 🥲) ? Or the pros win over the cons?
Animation is just a class I signed up for but there are so many to choose from ! And in my opinion the pro’s definitely out way the cons. I don’t regret going to art school at all it’s seriously so fun and ive been able to learn lots !! The essays kinda suck but there is still lots of important info to take from them !
