I always imagine, that there is a sleeping baby near to you and you are trying not to wake up that hypothetical baby by speaking so calmly and kindly. 😅 💛
This is a great technic as I have a loud voice but another problem is I would not care about the baby as well.

I love wearing summer whites as a contrast with my dark skin.
So feminine and fresh! It really brightens my very fair coloring and cools down the red undertones. LOVE white.

Yes. I love it too. A person undertones come out.
Ladies, I would like to bring back to your attention how our greatgrandmothers used to fight stains on pure (!!!) linnen and cotton: Expose the stain to the sun for one day or two, keeping it watered all the time (if possible). It won't harm the fabric, and the stain will be gone. Works also very well with table linnen, but not on Polyester and such.That is why one should always investe in natural fabrics.
The thing that makes your white outfits stand out is the texture of the pieces. They are not basic. I love it.
White on white is so luxe. I'm always in black, but I'll have to give this a try!

A nurse taught me this. If you get a drop of blood on a piece of clothing, dab it with a cotton ball and hydrogen peroxide. Amazing.
Or cold water. Never hot as it sets it in.

Great advice. I like white, but the minute I wear it, I get it dirty or stained, so the Scotch Guard tip is excellent.
If you wear white fairly often, set them aside when doing laundry, and do a load with just whites and add in bleach. That way you get the stains out, but maintain the integrity of your colored pieces :)
The Scotch Guard is a really smart tip. I never would've thought to try that on clothing, but it seems so obvious.
Whenever I am wearing white - particularly on my bottom half - I try to carry a Tide pen in my purse, so if I spill something, I can treat it immediately. Just knowing I have it along seems to cut down on the "clumsy."

I know excatly what to wear tomorrow; AMcqueen funky TShirt with a bustier appliqué and a skirt-"volant" ( still very sleek) with a white A-line skirt, silver Claudie Pierlot ballerines and a red Céline nano luggage bag and silver earings and Necklace. All the quoted brands are second hand! 👍😉🌞

I bet I'm clumsier than you, Audrey Coyne! But, I love white - it's so fresh and it brightens my very fair appearance(redhead, blue eyes, freckles, blonde lashes/brows). I like pure white in summer and ivory when the weather turns cool. Thanks for the style tips - again - I love your channel!
I love wearing white! And it looks good on everyone. It's a question of finding the right kind of white, and it's great that you show different kinds here. Also, I don't worry so much about it getting dirty. I just throw it on and hope for the best. ;)

Thank you for your stylish advice! I have recently turned to wearing much more white, along with many of the combinations you suggest. Seems to me that people respond well to this, too, no matter how simple the outfit. To me, it's a sign of lightness and hope, especially coming out of (hopefully) this pandemic. I have enjoyed your videos on "colours" since I now seem to be allergic to black :) Yes, more pink, blue, golden yellows and greens! I love white in theory and you wear it brilliantly. Trust me I have tried ...almost every summer I seem to buy a white piece and wind up never wearing it. In real life it makes my pale skin looks sickly, like I'm wrapped in the bed sheet of my sick bed. Finding under garments that don't show through can be problematic. Even the smallest speck of dirt shows up like a neon sign. Wrinkling is clearly obvious. Visually, white adds 15 to 20 lbs to my frame. All that said, it looks gorgeous on most everyone else inclined to wear it, especially those with tan or dark skin! Just not me! I envy you white wearing ladies that can carry it off so well.🌱

The dress is Dôen’s “Violet”, but it’s old season, as is the Blouse (the “Frances” by SÉZANE).

I really love your channel. I don’t know anything about fashion and I’m 39. I wear mostly athletic clothing since it’s easy for me lol. Your channel has opened a new dimension about fashion in my world and I’m learning! Sometimes I’m confused what you are talking about that’s how new to fashion I am…I hope to be able to step up my game in some fashion ;)
Non-athletic clothes can be easy too if you keep it simple and build a capsule wardrobe where all (or most) of your tops can be worn with all of your skirts/pants. Neutrals-only or a minimal color scheme helps. And I never buy pants or skirts with a pattern. That way my patterned tops match with way more.
People treat me noticeably different when I am “ dressed up” as opposed to in my “comfy-wumfies.” And I’m not really dressed up. I’m just not in my pajamas/ gym clothes like so many around me. Not always, though! Sometimes I am pretty casual. But never in public in actual PJ’s unless I’m on my way to the ER trying not to die.

PS: thrift stores are great for finding quality items at great prices. You just have to dig and inspect for stains, tears, etc.

how do you deal with the underarm yellowing on white clothes, maybe due to deodorant or to perspirations. It is very difficult to get out...I have not found a successful way and had discard . Would you do a video on that issue?
I think this is due to the deodorant or antiperspirant used, I haven’t had this occur since changing to a deodorant that says no staining on white or black clothes (the one I use is Nivea).
@Kizito Kanu Perhaps a tiny bit of bleach?
I use Shout to remove underarm stains off of white clothes. Of course, it works for other types of stains too. Every now and then, a soak in oxi clean helps with that also. Both of these work on colors also.
( using husband's YT acct. ) Suggest Almay deodorant - clear gel ( for sensitive skin ) , neutral scent , has been my go - to for years ; also , it works well during hot summer days when i'm working outside & no marks on summer whites or later on winter blacks .
Natural deodorant shouldn’t leave yellow stains, as it’s the aluminium in traditional deodorant that oxidises and causes the discolouration (whereas sweat itself is clear).
Your makeup in this video looks really pretty. Did you do anything differently? I love the soft smokey eye effect.
Thank you for mentioning how to remove stains before and after wearing, then washing. I stay away from white tops (although I love the color and all white looks) I try to get stains out and I get discouraged.

These are great tips. I don't think I've ever thought of white in terms of warm/cool tones, that bit was really interesting. When u say 'warm whites' and 'cool whites' what would be examples of each? Would u say, ecru for instance, is that more of a warm white?

Ooo. Since you tackle care, do you have any advice for iron in the water that turns all whites an unpleasant and uneven orange-rust colour? Iron Out is really harsh, so I don't want to rely on it till I get a water conditioning system in..
