How hot is your screen getting? I know someone who had to get a replacement because it was too hot to touch. Mine get a little bit warm but usable. This person said it was too hot to use.
Haven't tried it, but you would likely need a usb to midi cable or converter. Full usb computer mode support is not yet implemented as of3.0.1. So you would use the 3.5 midi out of the Akai Force and plug it into the usb of computer. and then you would have to plug the audio from your computer into the audio inputs of the akai force.
I think it is per project, until your internal memory is full (ofc you can save it on an ssd or sd card so this won't happen) . I own an MPC X which has 20 minutes of sampling time.
@@renechang2406 yes you can, there is even a function called "purge" that can automatically delete unused samples for you :) you can do it by hand too. But if you own a Force you don't need to anymore though, it has disk streaming now, so you have unlimited (!!) sample time as long as you have disk space on whatever drive you attached to it. (you can save your samples to the disk and stream them all from there!) I can now move the sample length way past the 15 minute mark (sold my MPC X for a Force sometime ago) so apperently the max sample length for 1 sample is now much longer too!
This vs mc707 or blackbox? For.completely dawless setups I was gonna mention 8track mk2 elektron but it scares the shit out of me ahaha Awesome.video man well done!
Says the dude who has zero legit criticism and has barely 20 subs on his YT channel and 1 video made a year ago with barely 50 plays. I almost never take anyone seriously who has a "beats by _____" moniker.
Akai Force Sample Edit - How To Save Samples th-cam.com/video/L_26ZK-FX9o/w-d-xo.html
Again, so useful! THANKS!
Really useful video subscribed gave me the courage to start sampling- what I need to know is how to separate the left and right tracks as audio waves
O yes. Thanks . Just what I needed
Great video
Great tutorials Matthew. Big thanks, always looking forward to the next! something about syncing samples with beats maybe?
also...my screen is getting hot ...quickly. tips? did I make a doo doo with Force?

@@MatthewStratton hows things :) yeah its getting hot, not good at all. waiting for AKAI support to get back to me
Cheers buddy 👍
How to assign a saved sample to a certain pad? And how to decide if it plays as long the pad is pressed or if its playing through, looping and so on?
Thanks! Very useful.
Very helpful. I still wish it had the pad tap feature but this way is better than nothing.
Yeah, I think that is the biggest complaint that I have seen so far about the Force. That and the lack of song mode.
Can i use a send effect on the sampler input so i can record dry?
I get a signal coming from my mixer to the force but when I record it and then load to the sample editor it just shows a line no audio was recorded
This helped alot..Thanks
You’re welcome
Yo Matthew! Thanks for all the help! Is there a way to tie or flam rim shots or high hats producing extremely fast patterns in a beat?
Good am, Do you have any tutorials on recording Vocals using a microphone on The Force?
Hello. I dont have any yet.
Is it possible to sample a note and transpose it to use with midi keyboard or note mode?
Madie4789 yes. Once you sample your source you can assign it to a keygroup program. This way you can a midi keyboard to play the notes.
@@MatthewStratton thanks! I enjoy your tutorials. Makes it a bit easier to find my way in this piece of hardware
hey matthew,
thanks for the video. do you know how i can auto sample something from ableton? i have problems setting up the midi conection with usb.

Should auto sample always be on
Is the “15 minutes” total sample time? or per sample? 🙏🏽🇬🇧

@@YA-sound Can you go back and delete the samples you won't need anymore to regain free space on sampler memory?

Me too
AT-LP 120 is more bang for your buck
You just made it look so uncool 🤦🏽♂️
Thanks for the feedback.

does it have Live Sampling for improvisation in performance?
