This really takes me back to my youth. Growing up in the 80’s I had a fascination with monsters and other such scary things and I can remember going to my local toy store and seeing monster kits from the 70’s and 80’s. Unfortunately I didn’t have the funds to buy them but I always thought they were cool. In particular I remember the clay monster kits where they’d have a mould and you would use Das clay to make the particular model you wanted. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Wow! I remember these! Hours of fun. I always had Frankenstein carrying the Victim. I think that they were my older brothers but he let me play with them.
You did a great job on all of these! Though not part of the original "Monster Scenes" lineup, I vaguely recall that Aurora also made a 1/13th scale Creature from the Black Lagoon, a second version of the Frankenstein Monster, a Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde, and Wolfman kits from their "Monsters of the Movies" series that could be used with - but were not originally a part of - these first "Monster Scenes" kits. Recently, Atlantis Models came out with some of the parallel Aurora "Prehistoric Scenes" kits. Hopefully, if they have the tooling for these Monster Scenes kits, they'll consider reissuing them as well! Thanks for posting this! 37th Like.
@@manofaction1807 1:13th scale according to the box 🙂so a hair shorter than 1:12. They are smaller than Marvel Legends figures and much taller than 3 3/4”. They scale well with Character Options 5 1/2” Doctor Who action figures.
Fantastic job. Gets me in the Halloween mood 😜🎃🔥
Wow these are absolutely amazing!! I love this❤

@@Gojitron1 high praise from The Master!
Funny how parents are offended by a toy back then, but parents today support 8year olds listening to the W.A.P song
