Thanks. I love the birthing of an abstract painting....watching as it evolves and morphs into being. Even though I am the one painting it.... I am still in total amazement of the process.

I LOVE watching this painting evolve! I sort of felt the "Women" was always in the middle....looks like she's slowly rocking a baby under the stars! LOVE the extra effects of the oil pastels as well! You're VERY TALENTED!!!!

LMAO..What? You know there is literally no meaning in his "paintings", right? He literally has a basic palette and just randomly slops paint on the canvas until he's ready to move onto the next one. You have quite the vivid imagination pretending something is going on here or that this slop of paint actually means something when the "artist" himself couldn't be bothered enough to fabricate a meaning.

Yes. I have used a toothbrush before. It is amazing the various splatters you can get with different brushes or paint viscocities.

Regarding the oil pastels, generally they are the last marks I make on the painting. Simply because the oil pastels would repel additional layers of acrylic paint. Actually that would not be much of a problem I use a minimum acount of pastels. I also try to use pastels that are less oil content.

      You're using acrylics?

Wonderfull Music - great for opening a dreamlike and yet physical energy. Do you use any media like gloss or other? And do you varnish and if what do you choose? I think varnish sometimes disturbs the experience of a painting - it can become like behind a window
