I was doubtful of getting this device before. Since I got 2 sims and a 200GB memory card so I need a dedicated micro SD slot on a phone but I really love the design and the screen of this phone as well as the performance, it's blazing fast plus the price! One of the downsides of the device is the camera coz a lot of people say bad things about it but after seeing this review, man! It's all about how one uses it! How we can choose a perfect scenario to take pictures on. Why should we take pictures in a very dark place right? Night mode helps brighten a not so well lit area but at least, there must be some artificial lights to support a device. Not just the Redmi Note 8 Pro but all the devices. Another thing is, I can use another phone as a back up and good thing that Xiaomi has the Redmi Go phone which is very affordable and very good considering its very cheap price! So finally I have made up my mind to get this and the Redmi Go! Thanks for this review man! 👍

Just one question - G-cam doesn't work, accepted. What about other applications on the PlayStore, like Moment Pro Cam and the likes? Could there be other applications that might give us better video and night mode support?
I happen to suck at PUBG, so I'm more addicted to the camera stuff in phones, how do we elongate the battery life on this, as it's an LCD screen? Dark mode only favors OLED screens, as far as I know.

I told you that Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, has a big massive problem, when you are trying to use it with a LAPEL MICROPHONE.I recorded samples from 2 Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 pro and they have the same problem.Over the recordings it has a beeping sound and when it beeps it stops for a fraction of second.Why won't you make a video about this? Are you paid by Xiaomi to bring out only good stuff about this phone???
