All I’ve done my life is fly fish for trout and I’ve been lure casting for cod for maybe 3 years or longer now and have cracked lots of ones around 40-80cm and I have been blessed with one metery from my local spot in Shepparton, I’ve recently purchased a cheap swim bait/big surface rod for big cod fingers crossed the cod gods are on my favour this season. Love your work and im starting to see a lot of similarities between us hence why im gonna binge watch every episode I can possibly watch hahah
Use to love when I was young going down to the river to fish when I lived in Swan Hill vic but now close to 70 stuck at home here in Mel the only fishing I do is on my computer fishing sim

My pop cought one similar in size to that in the 1970's. Fed us for months. Not sure on regulations now. Are they protected. Is it catch and release only.
Any chance you can do a quick run through on what gear/how much food/and a rough spot where u started and finished that magic trip as I want to do something similar and help would be fantastic

No crocs in the rivers he's fishing. They tend to be found further north
