Our special Christmas tradition (that I grew up with, that my mom grew up with) is having our stockings filled on the morning of December 6, the Feast of Saint Nicholas. That’s when we get our Christmas pjs, ornaments, some candy and fruit. No major big ticket items, just fun stuff to really kick off the season. One year I got a 3’ tall Rudolph coloring book…and 40 years later I still think about it 😊
