Cigarettes probably didn’t help, either, but he didn’t die of an overdose; that’s factually incorrect and anyone who claims it is misinformed. (I realize you didn’t make that claim). There are still some ignorant people out there who think Jimi Hendrix died of a heroin overdose, too. They’re smearing these people’s memory with knee-jerk parroting of rumors and urban legends. It’s appalling!
