- Washington and California played in an Elimination Game in the 2023 LLWS. The winner would advance to the United States Championship Game on Saturday against Texas.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

The best part of my work as a TH-camr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other TH-camrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Literally Washington’s best player. He’s a very good right fielder and understands the position so well
My soul hurt for Washington these past few days, good run. Kirchoff was fantastic and clutch pitching for Washington. Good luck with Jablonski vs Lappe.
Yeah both these losses were probably the best two games of the llws
I grew up and live in NE Seattle just like these kids and played in NE Seattle Little League growing up. These kids took the top 2 US teams who are from historically good states to the very end with the tying runs on 3rd at the end of both games. First team from the City of Seattle to make it to the LLWS, 3rd best US team and finish ed in either 5th or 6th place in the World. They deserve a big parade when they get home and a VIP experience at a Mariners game.

Same here, grew up in Washington and I still remember when Kirkland won the World series in 82'🤙 these boys played so good, super proud of them!

Wow, Washington was so close to getting an extra run every inning. Very fun game to watch I didn’t expect them to be that good.

These lil guys where just great to watch and you have to be very proud of this whole team just tons of fun to watch tons of heart and i'm from Cal but W will be looked at for years

This is great, so many memories. A group of my childhood friends from Elmhurst, IL are traveling next year for a weekend of memories.
California little leaguers are either 6ft tall or 3.5ft tall. There is no in between.
And definitely not 12
Played on the West team in 2011, and these guys have what it takes. Up there with the better West teams I have seen.
Where did they find the home plate umpire, at a blind person’s convention? No way he should be calling balls and strikes.

to be fair, in the face none of them look as old as taiwans ace but it was a bit jarring to see that brooks, lappe and kalish were 5’10, 6’1 and 6’0 respectively

This rule where you have to hit the entire lineup has ruined the offense this year. Regardless both these teams played great defensively.
Little League is not real baseball.
For 80 plus years baseball dads were able to juggle the 9 man line up but now according to little league, they had to simplify it lol. It’s BS, LL just got some participation trophy guy whose still butthurt because he didn’t get to bat much as a kid.

Hey can I ask, is LLWS the best players at this age or just the best teams? In other words, if you put together all the best 12 yr olds in the USA they would be better than these teams?
@@nofurtherwest3474the team that play in the LLWS all have players that are from the same district, which could only be a few square miles big depending on the population of that area. so yeah, the 12u usa team that just won the WBC a couple weeks ago would demolish any of these teams. maybe chinese taipei would put up a fight but that’s about it

There was one player who was ineligible and they were disqualified. The people should've also suspected Taiwan or at least checked their ages too to make sure they weren't trying to pull the same stunt as South Korea.

Great games but I cannot stand the announcer Karl Ravech, he has been announcing llws for a long time now, but he is terrible compared to Gary Thorne , Harold Reynolds’s, or Brett Musberger from a long time ago. And he only announces American League games for some reason he never does the international games for some reason .
