This is best album imo. It was more emotional and lyrically better too. Every members got their own moment to shine nothing more nothing less. They got new opportunities for ex: vocal line rap and a lot more stuff. Each song has a sound new to BP. Love it 💞

BlackPink's "B" sides are always just as good as the title tracks. Quality over quantity. That is what other companies don't get. Sure you can have a gg putting out content and albums with 12 to 14 tracks. But how many of those "B" side tracks are going to be remembered? BP rocks all the time.

Yeah, like it's nice to have a lot of tracks but honestly with other groups, majority of the time I feel some of the tracks are kinda filler? I listen to it once and that's that. With BP though, it's not like that at all because I genuinely love all their tracks.
girl if they can put out 8 quality songs in two years they can do 13. Stop excusing receiving the bare minimum. I love the girls and I love this album but dont act like they spent the last two years working on this.
Can't you compliment them without attacking other groups? There are plenty of groups boys and girls who put out full length projects and every single song is thoughtfully put together. The only reason Blackpink releases so few songs with such a wait is because that's how YG operates. That's whatever, it's their company their girl group and the girls are serving us good music. But please don't frame it like they waited all this time because they were working on these eight songs, and other groups only put out more because they're okay with making bad music. That's straight up untruthful and mean.
They can put out more songs BUT I AM STILL GRATEFUL FOR THIS ALBUM

Seriously, having a Rosé solo on this album was a sweet surprise to me... at first I kind of didn't accept it because I knew there would be a lot of haters on top of it, but once the song was released there's no denying that this song made a big difference on this album! I think that this is the start that they will change their styles in music and that yg will somehow give them the freedom to be more active and involve in the making of their own music which will give them more power in the industry which they should have done before and I hope so. That's why shutdown means a new beginning. And I hope they will allow them to release music frequently after the tour. The pinks have so much power and hidden abilities that yg should expose. I wish that during the concert tour yg will give them the biggest screen so that everyone can see and appreciate the girls so much. And this album gives us the nostalgic vibes and kinda retro thus bringing back early times and good memories from the past. I'm so happy with this album though it's quite few😅.
