Hey Wrath, another tip for new players trying to complete TotC is that the ATK Power of the 3rd team on the selection roster is entirely based on your defensive team's stats. Having a single 4* player on each row will give you guaranteed wins so easily you don't even need to look at what you're fighting.

Also maybe I️ missed t but you mentioned the 10 pack of arena tickets but not the 5 pack for 300k that’s 150 tickets you can add to your pool and that’s very obtainable even early game f2p.

And theres no better and more fun way to learn about it than your videos. Arena tickets are 3 rewarded through daily quest, with the 5 from shop for gold thats 8 daily you get to spend on toc arena. Buy just one more daily to get 180 points at the end of the month. With some Aspen Luck its easy to complete if you spend your gold on them and doesnt require many gems. :) Make sure to get at least 40 Points for every Toc arena, to complete it at the end of month.
I am new and I rolled a 7 star but I couldn't do it cuz I didn't have a dark monster yet. That's just great and the tavern quest was active too and now that I realize they're so rare.

@@WrathofGodGaming Well, only really minor details like that heroic scrolls are now more like 125 gems not 150, you get four free arena fights per day not three, you don´t mention that 7* should never ever be completed if you already completed your monthly goal, 6* probably too for beginners, that you don´t complete 7* or 6* if you don´t have enough to complete the whole category and the fact that you encourage to do ToC all at once while imho the best method is to drop a small amount every time it pops up just before reset to get more loot out of it. But like I said really only minor things. Really tiny tiny minor things :)
I get what your saying about taking your time on Militant Event. But another consideration is that the Chest Event usually comes around in the first week or two of the month. If you're planning on getting any of the chests it may be worth rushing your Tourney of Champions the first weekend to grab enough gems for the chest event. Probably a intermediate player tip but worth knowing for newer players. Also, I wouldn't value Heroic scrolls at 150 each anymore since you can pretty much get them for 125 (in bulk) since the market change...
You could always buy them at 125 from Aspen as well. Bear in mind anyone who doesnt have a monthly card will likely not be grabbing that 1k for 8 each day. Their singular cost from market is still 150, you dont choose the cheapest or bulk price as the base line, otherwise why not just value them at 100 each because that's their price in chest event? Their single unit price is still 150/scroll but bulk buying lowers that
Sure, but availability of bulk is much higher now. I used to refresh market several times a day and look for scrolls in Aspen. Many times I couldn't find decent bulk deals so I'd buy singles and whatever I could get (like 750 for 5 from Medium Merchant in Aspen). Nowadays, you get a guaranteed bulk 8 deal every day so no one really has to buy singles anymore. If you don't have that many gems, it's even more important to save for that bulk 8 deal. So I don't think anyone in their right mind buys singles for 150 anymore...
Wrath I would really like if u can make a video just going through the top heroes and what they r good for, pve or pvp. They keep sneaking in changes to heroes and I just don’t know what is good for what anymore.

A quick question that i dont see abaut on video because is not a monthly event. Is it woth to buy the chips on the shop to make that wheel of fortune event? i mean, as a new player as i am, im a bit lost abaut events right now. I sow the rotation on reddit but i dont have very clear how to invest my resources to maximice the incoming on the time on thats events. I sow u buyed the 8 scrolls pack by gems so i guess its a normal day on your account (buy the 1000 gems scrolls and the 300k gold (5x) arena tickets ) but nothing abaut chips. So buy em or not? if not, how could i do this event? (if you do a video of how maximice the resources for the rotation events would be amazing). First, are you F2P or a light spender? If F2P you might not have the gems available to consistently buy certain things every day. However, for F2P players, the casino event is one of the easiest to afford, only costing 240 chips if you can roll 10x for 8 chips. At 30 gems a piece, that is 7200 gems cost, which is way less than the scroll or orb events. Add to it the occasional chips in tavern quests, the occasional chips for gold purchases in the Aspen, and getting 2 chips for free from dailies, and 240 isn't that hard to get, so I would focus on chips if you are totally F2P. On resource management, F2P should also not do all dailies each day. Only do all dailies when you get a free heroic summon. On days you don't, don't do the heroic summon and don't do the casino chips quest. The other ones are essentially free so go ahead and do those. This will cost you fewer resources and net you an extra 30 chips each month (2 every other day).
with that level of spending you can afford to complete chips regularly, and can probably get 60-80 orbs monthly, so you could maybe complete orbs every month or every two months. Still hard to get 500 scrolls for heroic summons but you could easily get 100 (2 tiers of rewards) and save the rest until you could complete that event (maybe every 3 months or so). I'd say your gem priorities could be 1) Hero Challenge (event raid)...as many as are available to buy at your VIP level, 2) casino chips, 3) refreshing tavern quests, 4) heroic scrolls. Saving away extra gems for some chests during the Mysterious Chest event wouldn't hurt either. Hopefully this helps, and in the long run just do what makes you enjoy the game :-)
Prophet orbs are generally best, as they help you complete events. The branches are a close second as they're useful when you're targeting top tier regular faction copies. They have a better top tier drop rate than orbs
Hey wrath really enjoy the content. I'm new to idle heroes and I did buy the monthly pass or whatever it's called but outside of that I'm not spending money. My question is how should i go about getting some 5 star heroes. I dont really have a great many. Should I burn my heroic summons? Save them? I'm just not sure.
Always save heroic summons for the heroic summon event. Event then, only spend enough to just reach whatever reward you can attain (if you have 120 scrolls...only spend 100 and save the rest). Don't forget you get a free summon every 48 hours so equate that in and only spend exactly 50/100/200 or whichever you can get during event and no more. The main way early players get 5 star heroes is 1) link account and get that Norma, 2) get login reward each day, 3) complete events (casino easiest one IMO), 4) fusing to make 5 stars, 5) do seal land daily. Prophet Orbs and Heroic Scrolls give 4 star and 5 star units/shards...but only spend them during their events, and again only enough to reach whatever reward you are aiming for. Like Wrath said over and over, be patient. The longer you play, the easier 5 stars will be to obtain. Specifically for the orb event, only spend in one faction so you can get food to make 6star+ guys. If you are PVE oriented, the forest faction is a great choice.
If you go by the numbers you would have to refresh your tavern missions 500 times to get a 7 ☆ mission. And waste 5000 gems doing so. The odds are .2 percent so .2×500= 100% and even then its not a guarantee. Just follow Wraths advise on refreshing and if it pops up then yay. If not dont stress it.
Furthermore, from hard learned experience. Gems are the most valuable currency or coin in idle hero's. Mismanaged gems will only set you back and slow your progress.
Refreshing quests a little each day is the way to go. It does cost an average of 5000 gems (technically less with daily refreshes), but if you are refreshing each day, taking the good stuff when they pop up, then you will be payed back with those 4-6 star quests when they appear. Don't wait til the last day and have to waste good things as you look for that last 7star. Also, like Noles said, if rng hates you this month and the 7star doesn't show (or only 1 does), do the one that pops up but don't click to receive the reward until you have 2 of them stored so you are guaranteed to finish the event.
I spent more than 6000 re-rolling in order to get 7* on new server and even though odds should be in my favor I didn’t get any 5*,however I got 8 6*...
what about bag slot problems for free to play players ? if you buy some new slot the next time you buy it, it will cost more. but thanks for this vid it help me alot!
30 days of just buying the 5 is only 150 arena tickets, plus the extra free one from dailies nets you another 30, or 180 total. You need 300 to complete trial of the champion and an extra 10 to complete the remainder of crystal crown...you can of course get these for gold in aspen but you may need to buy a few of the 120 for 10 offers in market still :)
The glorious relics are new, so they come in different way that isnt possible to know, I'd say primarily they're event rewards, both weekly and monthly events, not many things outside of that reward them that I've seen.
One question, do the quest stack? Like if you completed the tavern mission, but haven't collected it yet... will it be ghere tomorrow, and will the be more missions the next day?
If you start a tavern quest but do not collect the rewards when finished it will remain in your inventory and it will not block new quests from spawning each day. If you just lock the quest but do not actually start it, then it will block new quests from spawning.
Odds of getting a 7 star quest are 0.2%, so *on average* it would take 500 rerolls - five thousand gems - to get one. (Even then you only have a 63% chance after 500 tries; it would take 11,500 gems to be 90% sure of seeing a 7-star). It is probably not worth rerolling repeatedly just to get a 7-star, if you haven't seen one appear during the month.
I fucked up and bought the 5,000 chest cause I'm level 120 and haven't gotten a single corpsedemon. 😂 definitely an impulse buy but I usually run shadow abyss faction combo.

As FtP is the 7* Tavern quests really worth the hassle in the Monthly rewards? Would it be worth the trade off to hold on to a 7* Tavern until you get a second or is that going to be too much of a waste not making it worth while?
@@jakeroberts2902 oh yeah, 10 orbs is huge, and you get nothing but the reward of the quest if you only get one in a month. If you start the quest, but don't "complete" it, you still get a refreshed quest, so you are missing nothing. That's why Wrath has so many completed quests in his log...just not "complete"ing them until it benefits him most.
Hey Warth. With the tavern quest going right now, I'm a bit of a struggle. I can't do any of the 7 star quest due to lack of a 6 star. Is it worth it to make a fodder 5 star into a 6 star to complete the event? I'm assuming no, but nobody in my guild/server seems to know the correct answer.
Im not wrath but ill try and answer this. 6☆ heros are used for ALOT of fusing through out the game. If you can make any hero a 6☆ do it. Just dont sacrifice top tier hero's in a rush just to have a 6☆. But if you can make a 6 ☆ norma using 2 5☆ Norma's, 5☆ Aleria, 2× Gusta and a Fatmu. Do it. Just be careful taking certain hero's past 6☆ . You dont want a bunch of 7☆ hero's. Have a plan for that particular hero be4 hand. Cause once you go to 7 you gotta take um up to 9.
I gave up on rerolling for 7* quests because I'm just too unlucky. I always get 1 a month but I can never get the second one. I've probably spend 5k gems on rerolling already lol
oh quick question.. ive started to buy the monthlt card and the mini monthly card.. what would be the best thing to spend the gems on? i tend to spend it on re rolls in the tavern but stupidly cave in and buy prophet twigs :/
The 8x scrolls are a nice place to spend gems, but tbh anything you need for event completions are worth the gems as they will pay you back in some form or another, twigs and super chips are luxury items as no events revolve around them.
But the problem for some early free2play player is to handle 6* and 7* quest on tavern, becaus you need some heroes with the same amount of stars. especially for me, its my day 8 ingame, i`m level 64 and got only norma as a 5* hero, if i got some 6* quest i feel realy bad.
@@WrathofGodGaming ohh, i just saw 3* quest need 3* heros and 4* need 4* heros, so i concluded it, at this point in time its dosent look easy to get some 6* heros, but i managed just 8 days... its nothing, and most parts of the game looks like witchcraft :-)
As long as you dont claim the rewards from completing a quest it will stay in your inventory and it wont block new quests from spawning. If you just lock the quest it stops new quests and if you dont lock them or complete them, then they will just reset the next day

Pretty much. Keep in mind that some five stars are great now but terrible 10 star heroes. You can take any hero to 6 star no worries, but make sure you check how good a hero is at 10 star before you make them 7 star. Even making a trash hero 10 star isn't the end of the world, but if you can avoid it it will save you a bunch of frustration.
Yeah. Leaves are 100% rng so even though you can buy extra, you will normally end up with anywhere from 2.3k min to about 2.8k max if you are VERY lucky
I have collected every single leaf that has dropped. 7.5 hours is the longest ive waited. And as of 7:00 at reset with 48 hours left. I have 1894 leaves. If my rng stays the same. Which has been on average 278 a day from drops and 100 from daily mail i should get 650 more before the end of event. So thats 2544. So yes it is possible. The top 2 items however are pretty much out of reach for f2p.
@@yaboisquidward2145 They dont end a day early, the eventshop goes one day longer so you have more time to shop. Also somehow everyone got close to the same amount, so nothing much to do with luck anymore like those befor where you could find 50drops at once.

Add to it the occasional chips in tavern quests, the occasional chips for gold purchases in the Aspen, and getting 2 chips for free from dailies, and 240 isn't that hard to get, so I would focus on chips if you are totally F2P.
On resource management, F2P should also not do all dailies each day. Only do all dailies when you get a free heroic summon. On days you don't, don't do the heroic summon and don't do the casino chips quest. The other ones are essentially free so go ahead and do those. This will cost you fewer resources and net you an extra 30 chips each month (2 every other day).

with that level of spending you can afford to complete chips regularly, and can probably get 60-80 orbs monthly, so you could maybe complete orbs every month or every two months. Still hard to get 500 scrolls for heroic summons but you could easily get 100 (2 tiers of rewards) and save the rest until you could complete that event (maybe every 3 months or so).
I'd say your gem priorities could be 1) Hero Challenge (event raid)...as many as are available to buy at your VIP level, 2) casino chips, 3) refreshing tavern quests, 4) heroic scrolls. Saving away extra gems for some chests during the Mysterious Chest event wouldn't hurt either. Hopefully this helps, and in the long run just do what makes you enjoy the game :-)

Prophet orbs are generally best, as they help you complete events. The branches are a close second as they're useful when you're targeting top tier regular faction copies. They have a better top tier drop rate than orbs
Hey wrath really enjoy the content. I'm new to idle heroes and I did buy the monthly pass or whatever it's called but outside of that I'm not spending money. My question is how should i go about getting some 5 star heroes. I dont really have a great many. Should I burn my heroic summons? Save them? I'm just not sure.
Always save heroic summons for the heroic summon event. Event then, only spend enough to just reach whatever reward you can attain (if you have 120 scrolls...only spend 100 and save the rest). Don't forget you get a free summon every 48 hours so equate that in and only spend exactly 50/100/200 or whichever you can get during event and no more.
The main way early players get 5 star heroes is 1) link account and get that Norma, 2) get login reward each day, 3) complete events (casino easiest one IMO), 4) fusing to make 5 stars, 5) do seal land daily.
Prophet Orbs and Heroic Scrolls give 4 star and 5 star units/shards...but only spend them during their events, and again only enough to reach whatever reward you are aiming for.
Like Wrath said over and over, be patient. The longer you play, the easier 5 stars will be to obtain. Specifically for the orb event, only spend in one faction so you can get food to make 6star+ guys. If you are PVE oriented, the forest faction is a great choice.

If you go by the numbers you would have to refresh your tavern missions 500 times to get a 7 ☆ mission. And waste 5000 gems doing so. The odds are .2 percent so .2×500= 100% and even then its not a guarantee. Just follow Wraths advise on refreshing and if it pops up then yay. If not dont stress it.
Furthermore, from hard learned experience. Gems are the most valuable currency or coin in idle hero's. Mismanaged gems will only set you back and slow your progress.
Refreshing quests a little each day is the way to go. It does cost an average of 5000 gems (technically less with daily refreshes), but if you are refreshing each day, taking the good stuff when they pop up, then you will be payed back with those 4-6 star quests when they appear. Don't wait til the last day and have to waste good things as you look for that last 7star. Also, like Noles said, if rng hates you this month and the 7star doesn't show (or only 1 does), do the one that pops up but don't click to receive the reward until you have 2 of them stored so you are guaranteed to finish the event.

I spent more than 6000 re-rolling in order to get 7* on new server and even though odds should be in my favor I didn’t get any 5*,however I got 8 6*...
i have no luck with taver quest rerolling ^^ sometimes i reroll my 8 quests for 240 gems and have no 5* mission :-P

Yes, bag slots is a huge problem for F2P players. Higher VIP gives more space, and gems does too, but you will never feel like you have enough.
I only keep gems and hs from 4*+, im f2p and I gain gems most of the time :3

You don't need to buy tickets beacuse the daily quests give 2 so 1 is profit and you can buy 5 for 500k
30 days of just buying the 5 is only 150 arena tickets, plus the extra free one from dailies nets you another 30, or 180 total. You need 300 to complete trial of the champion and an extra 10 to complete the remainder of crystal crown...you can of course get these for gold in aspen but you may need to buy a few of the 120 for 10 offers in market still :)

The glorious relics are new, so they come in different way that isnt possible to know, I'd say primarily they're event rewards, both weekly and monthly events, not many things outside of that reward them that I've seen.
One question, do the quest stack? Like if you completed the tavern mission, but haven't collected it yet... will it be ghere tomorrow, and will the be more missions the next day?
If you start a tavern quest but do not collect the rewards when finished it will remain in your inventory and it will not block new quests from spawning each day. If you just lock the quest but do not actually start it, then it will block new quests from spawning.

I'm f2p and I only need one 7 star quest to finish the tavern stuff and I've spent over 3500 gems 😥😥
Odds of getting a 7 star quest are 0.2%, so *on average* it would take 500 rerolls - five thousand gems - to get one. (Even then you only have a 63% chance after 500 tries; it would take 11,500 gems to be 90% sure of seeing a 7-star). It is probably not worth rerolling repeatedly just to get a 7-star, if you haven't seen one appear during the month.
I fucked up and bought the 5,000 chest cause I'm level 120 and haven't gotten a single corpsedemon. 😂 definitely an impulse buy but I usually run shadow abyss faction combo.

As FtP is the 7* Tavern quests really worth the hassle in the Monthly rewards? Would it be worth the trade off to hold on to a 7* Tavern until you get a second or is that going to be too much of a waste not making it worth while?
I said exactly that in the video. If you dont have 2 then wait until you do before completing either, doing just 1 is a big waste

@@jakeroberts2902 oh yeah, 10 orbs is huge, and you get nothing but the reward of the quest if you only get one in a month. If you start the quest, but don't "complete" it, you still get a refreshed quest, so you are missing nothing. That's why Wrath has so many completed quests in his log...just not "complete"ing them until it benefits him most.

Hey Warth. With the tavern quest going right now, I'm a bit of a struggle. I can't do any of the 7 star quest due to lack of a 6 star. Is it worth it to make a fodder 5 star into a 6 star to complete the event? I'm assuming no, but nobody in my guild/server seems to know the correct answer.
Im not wrath but ill try and answer this. 6☆ heros are used for ALOT of fusing through out the game. If you can make any hero a 6☆ do it. Just dont sacrifice top tier hero's in a rush just to have a 6☆. But if you can make a 6 ☆ norma using 2 5☆ Norma's, 5☆ Aleria, 2× Gusta and a Fatmu. Do it. Just be careful taking certain hero's past 6☆ . You dont want a bunch of 7☆ hero's. Have a plan for that particular hero be4 hand. Cause once you go to 7 you gotta take um up to 9.

I gave up on rerolling for 7* quests because I'm just too unlucky. I always get 1 a month but I can never get the second one. I've probably spend 5k gems on rerolling already lol
just don't click the "complete" button until you have 2 of them...then you succeed every other month!

The 8x scrolls are a nice place to spend gems, but tbh anything you need for event completions are worth the gems as they will pay you back in some form or another, twigs and super chips are luxury items as no events revolve around them.

But the problem for some early free2play player is to handle 6* and 7* quest on tavern, becaus you need some heroes with the same amount of stars.
especially for me, its my day 8 ingame, i`m level 64 and got only norma as a 5* hero, if i got some 6* quest i feel realy bad.
6* quests are done by 5* heroes. Only 7* missions require a 6* hero, and you have a month to build a 6* which is easily doable even as a f2p player.
@@WrathofGodGaming ohh, i just saw 3* quest need 3* heros and 4* need 4* heros, so i concluded it, at this point in time its dosent look easy to get some 6* heros, but i managed just 8 days... its nothing, and most parts of the game looks like witchcraft :-)
How do you save up the quests? Don't the tavern quest refresh everyday though?
As long as you dont claim the rewards from completing a quest it will stay in your inventory and it wont block new quests from spawning. If you just lock the quest it stops new quests and if you dont lock them or complete them, then they will just reset the next day

God no, ormus isnt even that good in all honesty. Never waste guild coins on heroes, tech is waaaaaaaay more important

Aura shouldn't be a focus in the beginning. And Amu is really good, it's just harder to level him up so that hurts a new player

Pretty much. Keep in mind that some five stars are great now but terrible 10 star heroes. You can take any hero to 6 star no worries, but make sure you check how good a hero is at 10 star before you make them 7 star. Even making a trash hero 10 star isn't the end of the world, but if you can avoid it it will save you a bunch of frustration.

Yes
Yeah. Leaves are 100% rng so even though you can buy extra, you will normally end up with anywhere from 2.3k min to about 2.8k max if you are VERY lucky
I have collected every single leaf that has dropped. 7.5 hours is the longest ive waited. And as of 7:00 at reset with 48 hours left. I have 1894 leaves. If my rng stays the same. Which has been on average 278 a day from drops and 100 from daily mail i should get 650 more before the end of event. So thats 2544. So yes it is possible. The top 2 items however are pretty much out of reach for f2p.

@@yaboisquidward2145 They dont end a day early, the eventshop goes one day longer so you have more time to shop. Also somehow everyone got close to the same amount, so nothing much to do with luck anymore like those befor where you could find 50drops at once.
