So I totally agree with you about the lack of gameplay. I personally play because of the mechanics of the game. I'm f2p and the only things I look forward to are new events. I don't find much else about the game entertaining, other than progression. I totally understand that you would quit because you were pretty much top level. Very boring. I recommend you in some of your free time maybe try to start a new account that's f2p and see if you enjoy. Some of the new heroes and reworks are actually quite game-changing, and I recommend you give it a look. But it's totally up to you. Gotta say although I liked your videos and teaching for Idle Heroes but super glad you moved on. Now you're doing videos with games that are much more worthy of how fun you make them with your commentary. I look forward to your videos week (or so) for Dark Souls just to see your style play it. Other people argue that you aren't playing Dark Souls the way it should, but I think you are cuz you are just exploring and enjoying it as you would. Next I don't play Clash of Clans because I would always lose my loot when prepping for the next attack, but it is still enjoyable to watch you run your commentary while going through raids. Idle Heroes is definitely not for someone who wants in depth gameplay with lots of action. It's an idle game. It's like a game that doesn't have any way to win it, but still has little goals.
Wrath if you see this can you play again they added so much more stuff and heroes plus a void are to get new copies it is so much fun besides you would have more fun now instead of a year ago so plz try it again if you can
Weird to see this video as I quit playing a bit before this was uploaded and came back a month ago. I’m a light spender that just focuses on PVE because I still enjoy the PVE content but PVP is just pointless even 2 years on for non whales. It has gotten better for F2P which has kept the game alive but it’s still a ginormous gap

I’m watching this video after so many months of IH and seeing how that work was wasted plus the money and that happens even now in the game and that is because people spend so much money and obviously they will get bored eventually because they basically are in endgame probably in less then a year...it’s sad but it is what it is
There is no endgame, it's an endless cycle of the same old thing. Doesnt matter if you play for free and still have trash after a year...there is no magical potion that makes the game have actual gameplay. It's just boring...any game that plays itself is boring.
You can actually keep up in pvp as f2p, assuming you *never* do any major mistakes and never skip out on days or refresh times in general, and always handle resource management in an optimal way. I was able to keep up in top5 or better in arena as a complete f2p player for several months, and top3-5 in raids on the top guild for my server. However, this ultimately burned me out on the game in the end due to how easy it is to fall behind.
The day you left Idle Heros, was the day I did the same and I couldnt agree more. You have been consistently my favorite youtuber for games and it's sad to officially see you go from this game, but kudos for being awesome!!!!

There are a few ways to do it. If you have a capture card you can just use OBS and capture it all on PC in one go. If you dont you'll have to record 2 separate vids, one of the gameplay and one with the facecam amd then you'll merge them in editing. It's a little bit more work since you have to sync the audio and video...but it's not that bad. Transparency is achieved using greenscreen. You put a well lit green background up behind you and then you can remove that color using a chroma key in editing or in the filters of OBS...that will give you the transparent facecam.

It was the same for me with Clash of Clans.I played it for like 5 years, Me and my Clan even set a world record (thats already broken by now) when we had 48 wins in a row in clan wars. Hey Wrath! Have you heard of AFK Arena? Although it's the same type of game as Idle Heroes, there's relatively more gameplay involved such as formations and skill usage and the campaign isn't capped on your level but on the strength of your heroes. If you're still into gacha games I think you should give it a try
I'll be glad when the IH comments finally stop, but I have this sinking feeling that it's not going to be that easy... On a higher note, looking forward to more of the much more interesting and exciting content of games that are actually games and not just a garbage disposal for cash.
I remember when I started watching Idle Heroes vids almost 4 years ago, I thought the game was gonna be so fun when I craft my dream synergy team that I created my self, but little did I know that crafting was all the fun in the game but not the gameplay, also, since its a P2W game, the meta never lasted long, every new hero changed everything and every time I think I almost finished my best 6, a new broken hero is released, it was fun for it was possible to catch up when it was 10* the max, which takes only 2 months to make, then they introduce E3, and that takes 6 months to make ! funny to know there's an E5 now lmao, imagine playing almost a year to max 1 hero + paying god knows how much money, just to realize they'll always release stronger heroes and all ur time and money r wasted, imagine trying to make 6 E5 heroes, what is that ? 6 years of playing ? with no actual game play ? I'm thankful I quit the game 2 years ago, I enjoyed ur vids back then tho, and happy to see u reach 72K subs my dude, zero to hero :) keep it up u already came a long way, let me see u hit that million subs and hopefully do it my self one day xD, thanks again for making Idle Heroes more fun back in the days, wont forget it.
Not saying your wrong but not saying your right either. They added more ways and higher amounts of fodder income. It takes pretty much the same amount of time to make 6 E5 like it took to make 6 10* or 6 E3 when those been meta. About 6-18 Months depending on how you play or/and spend.
@@NeroAllstar I wish that is the case, but its not about the fodder only, its about the copies and the fodder, even fodder heroes copies became so rare for some reason, at least in my case, and its not 6 months to make 6 heroes dude that's just bs with my respect to u, it used to take 2 months at BEST to make a 10*, but for an E3 at required no less than 6 months, and that's only 1 fucking E3 hero not 6 of them lol, unless ur on some type of secret glitch method that makes it that much easier for u, also I'm talking about the PS server not the official P2W one, coz we all know what's the problem with that one, this game is just a waste of time and money if u play official, and if u still playing it, I just feel srry for u coz one day u'll realize how much time was wasted on this garbage :/
@@DeJanks Yes i play on official and you can make at least 1 10* per month right now. Actually its even possible for endgame players to make up to 2 10* per month. Thats without spending any money. So yes 6 months with spending money is possible and 12-18 without too. Im halfway there and playing for 10 months. I never have trouble with fodder hero copies. It just takes some planning on what to fodder and what not. I just recently opend 30+ 5* shards (over 1500 shards). Its common to see endgame players with 20k 4* shards in their bag at the end of the month before the monthly resets. I am VIP5 and havent spent since hitting that. I was top 20-30 in arena. Server merges fuck things up. But if you dont play to be top in pvp but play because you love idle progress and building dream comps then this game is for you. If you dont enjoy idle games then the heck dont play any. Same goes for Wrath. It just sounds like he doesnt like idle games but it took him a while to realize that. I already play other gameplay heavy time consuming games and enjoy my idle games on the side where I can theory craft and plan.

Hey Wrath! Have you heard of AFK Arena? Although it's the same type of game as Idle Heroes, there's relatively more gameplay involved such as formations and skill usage and the campaign isn't capped on your level but on the strength of your heroes. If you're still into gacha games I think you should give it a try

I remember when I started watching Idle Heroes vids almost 4 years ago, I thought the game was gonna be so fun when I craft my dream synergy team that I created my self, but little did I know that crafting was all the fun in the game but not the gameplay, also, since its a P2W game, the meta never lasted long, every new hero changed everything and every time I think I almost finished my best 6, a new broken hero is released, it was fun for it was possible to catch up when it was 10* the max, which takes only 2 months to make, then they introduce E3, and that takes 6 months to make ! funny to know there's an E5 now lmao, imagine playing almost a year to max 1 hero + paying god knows how much money, just to realize they'll always release stronger heroes and all ur time and money r wasted, imagine trying to make 6 E5 heroes, what is that ? 6 years of playing ? with no actual game play ? I'm thankful I quit the game 2 years ago, I enjoyed ur vids back then tho, and happy to see u reach 72K subs my dude, zero to hero :) keep it up u already came a long way, let me see u hit that million subs and hopefully do it my self one day xD, thanks again for making Idle Heroes more fun back in the days, wont forget it.
Not saying your wrong but not saying your right either. They added more ways and higher amounts of fodder income. It takes pretty much the same amount of time to make 6 E5 like it took to make 6 10* or 6 E3 when those been meta. About 6-18 Months depending on how you play or/and spend.
@@NeroAllstar I wish that is the case, but its not about the fodder only, its about the copies and the fodder, even fodder heroes copies became so rare for some reason, at least in my case, and its not 6 months to make 6 heroes dude that's just bs with my respect to u, it used to take 2 months at BEST to make a 10*, but for an E3 at required no less than 6 months, and that's only 1 fucking E3 hero not 6 of them lol, unless ur on some type of secret glitch method that makes it that much easier for u, also I'm talking about the PS server not the official P2W one, coz we all know what's the problem with that one, this game is just a waste of time and money if u play official, and if u still playing it, I just feel srry for u coz one day u'll realize how much time was wasted on this garbage :/
@@DeJanks Yes i play on official and you can make at least 1 10* per month right now. Actually its even possible for endgame players to make up to 2 10* per month. Thats without spending any money. So yes 6 months with spending money is possible and 12-18 without too. Im halfway there and playing for 10 months. I never have trouble with fodder hero copies. It just takes some planning on what to fodder and what not. I just recently opend 30+ 5* shards (over 1500 shards). Its common to see endgame players with 20k 4* shards in their bag at the end of the month before the monthly resets. I am VIP5 and havent spent since hitting that. I was top 20-30 in arena. Server merges fuck things up. But if you dont play to be top in pvp but play because you love idle progress and building dream comps then this game is for you. If you dont enjoy idle games then the heck dont play any. Same goes for Wrath. It just sounds like he doesnt like idle games but it took him a while to realize that. I already play other gameplay heavy time consuming games and enjoy my idle games on the side where I can theory craft and plan.
