Love the new version. Shorter and still funky. I remember being taught this when it was created, it's way much longer and 2 other technical parts to this that is funky ASF. Shout Out to Mr. O'Rey.
DerekDaCadillacQadafi Ficklin Dead ass. Bruh I'm really like WTF did I just watch? Man my first love was SNARE! I grew up down south. Always was a fan of HBCU'S. I love all styles. Times have changed and you always gotta adapt. Only way to make it in life. I see so much DCI guys down playing these cats. They put on a show but can chop with the best of them. I turned to tenor watching BAMA STATE! BEST leg tenors in the game period. Anyways what you said is point blank period. These cats are fr. And Cold Steel right there with them. We gotta learn to respect and give homage to guys that really set standards. Sudden Impact ain't nothing to play with. Any real drummer would say man they so different it's dangerous. These cats give you everything. DCI only cares about chops. Not saying that in a bad way but how you deny these cats respect? We will never know. All I'm saying is..... these cats are on some SHOOTER shit. Bob Lee Swagger iiin this bitch!. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for playing clean snares.. It’s simple when you play clean shit sounds a thousand times better... Great clarity roles very clean and balance ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Terrance Parker: Yep, the one and only since 1986! Baws Hawg: His background is Mississippi Valley State and Eastern Illinois University. He also did studies at Florida State.
I never get tired of watching this.....brings me back to High School and College

“Spirit Groove” was written in 1998. Perhaps the add-on portions, but the skeleton of the cadence is still the same from the creation season of 1998.
As a matter of fact, we played this at Hampton in 1998 and at the Heritage Bowl (Atlanta, GA) in that same season. 😁
