You've become my digital art guru. You just explain it in a way that makes so much sense.
As a traditional artist switching into digital I'm utterly lost with this stuff. Other creators either only talk about the uber basics or only discuss the advanced stuff like reading a textbook.
This is perfect. Seriously, your channel has opened something in my brain for my digital art skills. I'm drawing as prolifically as my teen years lol. Seriously though, I can't thank you enough.

First of all, the art is insane; second, this was such a helpful tutorial! Just used it in ProCreate/Krita, and it works well there, too!

Hi, pretty long time since this video and your comment so Idk if you will answer my question :v but do you know if krita is as good as ProCreate to do these kind of arts? Only found this channel today, so I've been trying some new things and I wanted to know if Krita would be better option (I don't have money to get ProCreate :/)
Sorry to disturb you and have a good day/night

@isabelcarvalho2090 Krita is pretty great honestly. Idk about gradient maps in there though, but I think they have them. It's open source so it's always evolving

Hey gammatrap (one word lol). I’ve been really inspired by this style of art. I ran into one issue trying to follow along this video. I use my iPad for all my digital art endeavors. To my surprise, photoshop for iPad doesn’t have a gradient feature yet. (Hopefully it will soon). Is there anyway you can cover the topic of gradient mapping on procreate? Or is there at least an alternative way on photoshop for iPad to get the same effect? I really aspire to learn this style of charcoal/ color

When I double click on the color box in the gradient editor window, It pops open for you the Color Picker window with a Square Color wheel. How do you do that? When i double the color box in gradient editor, it opens a small color window that only shows a spectrum circle and sliders. and the window doesnt say color picker it only says color.
