🤝 Share & Connect 3D Printing and Biomaterials in the Health sector

On July 10, XaRFA and Xartec Salut hosted an event focused on 3D printing and biomaterials in healthcare with the goal to facilitate networking among network members, foster knowledge exchange, and showcase the latest research advancements.

The event featured presentations that explored on the customization of 3D-printed materials for biological applications, the development of cutting-edge biomaterials for tissue regeneration and cartilage recreation, among others, with experts such as Alberto Rodriguez (Xartec Salut), Roger Uceda (XaRFA), Jordi Sand Mila (UPC), Anna Díez Escudero (UPC), César Rodríguez (IBEC), Robert Teixidor (IQS), Oscar Castaño (IBEC), Juan Crespo (UVic - ELISAVA), Elena Xuriguera (UB), and Sergi Bafaluy (Leitat).
One of the highlight moments was the round table discussion "Challenges in the World of 3D Printing and Biotissues," moderated by Felip Fenollosa (CIM UPC) and featuring Arnau Valls (Hospital Sant Joan de Déu), Jordi Martorell (Aortyx), Talyta Carteano (Asphalion), and Octavio Lenis Santiago (Guttmann - Neurorehabilitation Hospital).
At the end, we enjoyed the best part, networking and drinks!! We wanted the attendees to continue exchanging ideas and projects in a relaxed way, and we are pleased with the success of the meeting, which has demonstrated the potential of collaboration and knowledge exchange in the healthcare field.
