I would love to see an unedited video of your entire hair routine to see how long you actually take for each step. I'd also love to hear your recommendations on the amount of product you should use in your opinion, because sometimes I'm not sure if I use enough or too much.. Love you and your videos a lot!!
I love when you make these videos! It can be so overwhelming with all the options out there and when you’re ballin on a budget you can’t always afford to try a bunch of products so this helps narrow it down 👍
I just recently started caring for my wavy/curly hair and I love watching your videos. I love how you share both high end and drugstore products, and show us all the details. Loved this video! 💕
I’m so happy I found your videos I’ve never seen someone with such similar hair to me do a video on affordable hair care products or just hair care products in general and girl I’ve been STRUGGLING. Thank you so much! I recently moved across the US and the different weather and water type has been throwing me for a loop your videos are a holy grail!
I just want to say thank you for making this video. As someone who has multiple chronic illnesses, I don't have any control over my weight I have gone from being severely skinny from being ill to overweight because of medication. People are very quick to judge without knowing the full story. I wish people could be less judgy. I try to stop myself and say to myself that I don't know their situation. Hope you feel better soon❤
I just tried Not Your Mother's Plump For Joy Body Building Dry Shampoo and i really like it. I have fine wavy hair and it helps volumize the roots to match the volume of the rest of my hair 💜
@@indiabatson26 if I ever met you in person and came with a surprise wedding ring, knowing how beautiful you are, every step I’d take trying to walk up to you would be like trying to walk to the sun! Twistedsista is a good brand. Everything I've tried from the line, my thin, cury hair has curly hair has loved. You just have to be careful with the curl cream it can be heavy. But curl talk is definitely a top that I will never stop using.
Your hair is gorgeous. One of thee best drugstore dry shampoos is honestly Garnier Invisible Dry refresh and volume Pina Colada. And, you're going to likely get a million different responses. But for max volume, and refresh days, without the flakes, and with absolute max volume, this sprays like a jet so it's very easy to direct it right to where you want, and, it goes on feeling very cooling, and liquid, even tho it's a powder. One fluff and it instantly gives my hair and roots max volume. We all have different hair, so it may not be for everyone. But if you haven't tried it or don't see it in your area, it's really amazing imo. Absolutely love your hair, and happy honest vibes!!!
My favorite drugstore products are the John Frieda Dream Curls Shampoo and Conditioner. I have used high end and these top them all. The shampoo is so moisturizing and the conditioner is just lovely.
India I just wanted to say thank you! I have been struggling, a lot of products have been too heavy and weighed my hair down. I ordered everything from this video and it helped a lot
If you struggle with shine you have got to try Ecoslay’s Orange Marmalade. It’s all natural hand made products. I finally decided to try it on my wavy hair and I can’t live with out it anymore. The shine is on another level. The products are made to order so it takes a few days in the kitchen keep that in mind when reordering. Trust me you won’t regret this purchase.
Wow! My hair is growing out from hair loss and I am excited about these tips. Thank you! Your hair looks AMAZING. People used to get spiral perms in the 80s and 90s and scrunch it to try to have that volume and curl.

@Syl B No shade towards India, I love her! But try watching some of "Jayme Jo" Her hair is much curlier but she does show you the trick to volume after styling and it makes a huge difference! Shea Moisture Manuka Honey conditioner (the regular conditioner, not the mask) is my favorite drugstore conditioner.... Along with the Sun Bum revitalize line.

I love how your hair looks. I used to chemically straighten my hair for the last 5 years and it is beyond damaged now. I wish I could get my curls to look like this again.
Thank you for doing another, more recent, drugstore products video. It is definitely helpful. A drugstore dry shampoo that I have used in the past and liked is by the brand Batiste (found at Target).
I love not your mothers Naturals volume shampoo and conditioner. Giovani leave in, as well as Kinky Curley’s . No matter how expensive or cheap, I keep going back to Aussie Instant gel or Giovani’s. I love Miele’s deep moisturizer. I like using Kinky Curley’s custard with water in my hands to gently, raying hands , refresh. A tiny bit goes a long way.
I found that the Maui Moisture gel can definitely by more medium to light hold but if you put a ton of it on, it does have hard hold that lasts a bit. Not my favorite for hard hold but a great smelling and overall gel. NYMs line did NOT agree with my hair however, and I did not like the overly burnt sugar, plastically scent on the entire curl line.
Thank you for going over all these products. I would love love love to see a list of Professional Products for Curly Hair that works GREAT. I keep finding ones that just do not get me to right place with my curl training. : )
Okay my top 3 favorite drugstore products.... Ps that whole biotin infused line is awesome You should try it India!!
I thought you said you'd include hair towel recommendations but there aren't any links for hair towels. I'll have to look through your other videos to see if there's any budget-friendly recommendations.
Thank you, so helpful! I struggle with over moistured hair, especially in the summer!!!! So I am definitely going to try NYM shampoo with Maui Moisture flaxseed conditioner, and the NYM curl cream. My hair is so fine too, and seems like it does better with more protein, so hopefully this combo works for me. Thanks India for another great video! Hope you enjoyed stranger things (LOVED it)!!!
I go between not your mothers and the horse hair shampoo because my hair is thick and bushy by nature (although the curls and waves can pull it down) but the horse hair shampoo really helped my texture. I like to switch back and forth. I love the Not your mothers gel and Refreshing foam, the refreshing foam really works. I go in with the not your mothers gel first and then if I’m really down for the curls I get the Gorilla Snot. That’s what it’s called. It’s on the bottom shelf in the hair hair aisle not with the glue.
I have been using the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Conditioner for years, per a recommendation for you. I love it!! I really love the Blueberry leave in conditioner as well as the one you used. Thanks for this non-sponsored hair routine! :)
I do love the Aussie miracle curl oil it’s great on my refresh says to help with frizz and add some shine in! Also for dry shampoos sgx nyc dry touch volume one is great they have another that had uv protection that I use when I go to the pool or lake being here in GA you have to protect that scalp
Dove has a new leave in for textured hair, and is one of the best I've tried lately. It really helps with detangling and cuts friz in half or more. You have to put a fairly good amount through your strands, but this is all from air drying, not diffusing, which honestly, I haven't done for a while. 😏 Their "Slip" conditioner is good too. Really helps in shower combing. 😉 I can't think of the name of the collection, other than "texture". 🤔
I've been watching all the old videos and I need this new one. Excited. I have this texturing spray from Walgreens under the CAKE brand and I like the smell. Not sure if you could use that for the volume.
Thank you so much for these suggestions!! :) I have similar curls to you but mine is a bit thinner/shorter- drug store dry shampoo I have really liked is Batiste Hydrating dry shampoo!!! Doesnt feel as heavy or powdery and avoids frizz :)
I haven’t seen Shea Moisture in anyones videos as of late. 🤔 now that you mentioned it. What is your eyeliner in the shower pleeease?! I know this is a hair video but I need a brown that looks like brown and water proof. Thank you beauty.
Your hair looks beautiful! Love the color. Do you know this guy's channel blowout professor. He has some really great simple tips. I have wavy/curly hair too and started going to this guys channel. He recommended using hair oil after a leave in conditioner and it has been a game changer.
Have ypu tried Batise dry shampoo? It's a favorite of mine. Also, thanks for the options! I'm a wavy girl and I'm having a hard time finding products that work. I love my Watching manes by mell videos but you hair seems more on par with mine (outside of your awesome volume!!!) so I keep coming back!

I tried so many products you’ve recommended and I’ve loved them all so far especially the Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk, Naturals, and Blonde line all of them are so stinking good! I just saw some new Not Your Mother’s products at Ulta that you should definitely try and review for us: the Curl Talk hair oil, curl talk scalp scrub and the new Blonde Dry Shampoo which comes in a giant bottle and looks like it’ll last you a while bc girl it is HUGE! Hi cutie pie! I have tried ALL of the drug store cruelty free dry shampoo’s. There are none that I love. My slightly oily and very fine waves just need….more. I like Living Proof but my favorite is Klorane. They have a spray and powder version that just work for my hair type. Best wishes!
I feel like drugstore dry shampoos are fine but never AMAZING. i did used to like batiste a lot ?? Have you tried that? Is that one considered drugstore
I have to know your opinion on Aussie Instant Freeze gel! It seems to be a popular drugstore gel.. I really want to try the Maui Moisture gel you like so much! Love your videos!
I used that Shea Moisture spray for awhile but I looked more closely and saw that it has a polyquat in it. My hair can’t with the polyquats, they make my hair so tangly and sticky when it’s wet.
You need to try Rizo curls volumizing spray! It's a brand new product that they came out with. You can either get it off Target or Amazon. I only tried it once so far. I thought it was pretty good.
I recently discovered a curly girl approved curl refresher by Hair Food with mango and aloe and I love it. I'd never used a curl refresher before but it's a game changer for me. My favourite gel at the moment is the Alaffia Beautiful curls curl defining gel. It has good ingredients, is very hydrating, smells great and my hair loves it.

Thank you so much for these suggestions!! :) I have similar curls to you but mine is a bit thinner/shorter- drug store dry shampoo I have really liked is Batiste Hydrating dry shampoo!!! Doesnt feel as heavy or powdery and avoids frizz :)
Love your channel
I haven’t seen Shea Moisture in anyones videos as of late. 🤔 now that you mentioned it. What is your eyeliner in the shower pleeease?! I know this is a hair video but I need a brown that looks like brown and water proof. Thank you beauty.
Your videos always brighten my day ☺️
I’ve eyed a few of these products in the drugstore, so I’ll DEFINITELY be trying some of them! Also, my GenX soul is loving your 90’s vibe hair. 🙌🏻
Nice job! Happy weekend, India!❤️❤️🧡🧡
Omg I needed this video cuz I am running out of my stock of not your mothers but I can’t get it anymore and needed a different shampoo
Your hair looks beautiful! Love the color. Do you know this guy's channel blowout professor. He has some really great simple tips. I have wavy/curly hair too and started going to this guys channel. He recommended using hair oil after a leave in conditioner and it has been a game changer.
I love how you do random accents in between, hilarious!
Hey , Luv your videos … trying out Dove volumizing dry shampoo. I really Love Monat dry champ dry shampoo …
Maui hands down! You look great! ♥️♥️
I love the Batiste Tropical Exotic Coconut 🥥 dry shampoo!
Loved this video! I enjoy the content you put out because you are so honest and raw! You are so beautiful! Love your eyes! I also love how inspiring you are to your audience! Keep up your hard work!!
You are awesome India and I wish you and Daniel lived close by to me and hubby bc y’all are some of the most awesome and wholesome people I’ve seen on here and it definitely helps y’all love Stranger Things like us! Lol you take care sweet girl! 😊❤️👍🏻
Thank You! I learned many trucks. Your hair is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I am your new subscriber 😊
I adore Maui moisture. Howsy the new house coming along?
Loving the new content, India 💜💜
I have to know your opinion on Aussie Instant Freeze gel! It seems to be a popular drugstore gel.. I really want to try the Maui Moisture gel you like so much! Love your videos!
I used that Shea Moisture spray for awhile but I looked more closely and saw that it has a polyquat in it. My hair can’t with the polyquats, they make my hair so tangly and sticky when it’s wet.
I’ve liked using the Not Your Mothers dry shampoo
You need to try Rizo curls volumizing spray! It's a brand new product that they came out with. You can either get it off Target or Amazon. I only tried it once so far. I thought it was pretty good.
I recently discovered a curly girl approved curl refresher by Hair Food with mango and aloe and I love it. I'd never used a curl refresher before but it's a game changer for me. My favourite gel at the moment is the Alaffia Beautiful curls curl defining gel. It has good ingredients, is very hydrating, smells great and my hair loves it.
GIRL, what is your lipstick?! The one u wear in the shower?? it's so beautiful
Girl, the Aussie dry shampoo is bomb and the only place I can find it is the grocery store Food City 🤷🏼♀️
I love your hair looks so pretty! I do like Aussie products.
I’ve heard good things about the Kristin Ess dry shampoo so that might be a good one to try!
Wish I could get your hands on my hair! OMG yours is gorgeous and mine is a hot mess!
