Plus it won't hurt anyone to feature more characters that minority groups can relate with, doesn't even have to be main characters, just some that are relevant.

Issac from Castlevania is a great example of how great black representation is done, Powerful, has great lines is part of the bigger story and not just some side character and All people(Black,White,Men/Women,Asian etc) can resonate with his views on life and his growth as a person.
What about Killer B, A, and Darui from Naruto. Mirko and Rock Lock from MHA. And Ogun Montgomery from Fire Force. Also I'm Happy seeing Good Black Characters in Anime. I wish we could also get to see Hispanic Characters in Anime too. I’ve heard Shinichiro Watanabe has black characters in the anime he makes. Most of his series are original projects. It is intentional for him. Anime like Bebop, Michiko to Hatchin, and one of his more recents from 2019 is Carole & Tuesday. Afro Samurai as well. Black Lagoon has a lot of international characters so that one looks seems intentional as well.
Japanese artists need to take advantage. We black people love anime alot, they would make so much more money and add new fans. As long as they do it right they can rake my money 💵✊🏿

I would say that Orga from Ironblood Orphan is my favorite black character ever! I am not really a fan of Samurai. But.... Although small roles.... The black characters from Sword Art Online and towards the end of Psycho Pass were really good. And of course, Canary from Hunter Hunter can hold her own.

If you're Japanese, Korean, or Chinese-American, you probably spent a lot of time cringing at how each of those nations portray people from the other two nations in popular media, and I really hated a lot of the "magic negro" stuff anime did with the portrayal of Chinese characters. The same can apply to a black or african character in anime. they dont need to have any black phenotypical features to be black and if that is the requirement for black people in anime, that is if only black people in anime must have their facial phenotypes depicted to be considered black instead of more obvious things like chocolate skin tone or maybe even curly hair then white and asian/japanese anime characters should display their races respective phenotypes as well.
