This has got to be the biggest video you've made out of all of this, I'm sure. Thank you for making things that get me excited and curious for storytelling.
this trios story is so beautifully woven and yet so terribly heartbreaking. thank you for taking the time to tell it, i’m really looking forward to it.
Everything about this trailer. From the way the wandering merchant's instrument creeps into the background of the chorus, to the sweeping orchestrals- the cinematography, the dialogue, the wordless storytelling, all in service to show how intermingled this quest is with the entirety of the lore of elden ring- It's perfect. I haven't even watched the full video yet and I already know your team has outdone themselves by a mile. Things like this are what makes the fromsoft games special. I really, really hope everyone at Bandai gets to see this sometime.
I really hope there’s something like it in the dlc, that long questljne with great loot, lore, characters, the exploration of many different connected areas, and a whole ending, it’s the type of thing that quenched a thirst I never thought I had and has left my throat dry ever since
I wonder if Vatti will reference the original script for Ranni, rather than the seemingly poorly translated English version. Either way, this looks to be yet another incredible work from one of the best. Looking forward to this weekend. Soon, but not yet.
Hopefully he learned from his 'great tree' mistake not to use translations as a first source of content for his video. Istg that whole speculation in the early days spread so much confusion around the community, along with the 'erdtree parasite', crucible, and outer gods misconceptions... :'| It's been a year and a half tho, so I'm counting on the fact his collaborators can point him in the right direction, and not have the script depict Ranni as a villain (tho she undoubtedly did some awful stuff to get that 'good ending' of hers). Especially that damn dialogue from mini Ranni in her rise, it's unbelievable how they messed up such important translation ☠️
@@0uttaS1TE it's not fromsoft issue, more Bandai's. But then again, translation in videogames usually doesn't have much context as it happens quite early in development (thus we have dialogue lines from cut content too), so it's more likely for people who work on the matter to make mistakes. And also the fact most translation are made from English to other languages, not from Japanese... :')
@brickch.6502 Yeah I know what you mean. I mean like, it's weird that From still has to deal with that issue. I still remember shit like Sega's translation of AC4. But yeah, I'm glad you gave context about how translation works in games. It's good info, and I kinda feel like shit now for being so annoyed at translators
I shed a tear just thinking about that 1st playthrough and coming up to Ranni's Rise, Black Knife Assassins on the ground and seeing my friend Blaidd, unable to comprehend what had overtaken him... I tried to make it quick, reminding me of being forced to put down my 3 year old Great Pyrenees a year prior, their suffering was just too much and they were unfortunately beyond repair. Although his utter loyalty and devotion may have been a product of his Shadow Bound Beast origins, I like to think it was more than that, his canine instincts towards loyalty to his pack outweighed his duty in creation. I can only hope that Blaidd found peace of mind knowing that his contributions will never go unnoticed and that we ushered in the Age of Stars in his honor, his efforts not being in vein.
The editing is unbelievable, we don't usually get something like that but I am even more excited about what you have prepared than I already was. (I don't know who's the one who edited this whether it was Vaati or an editor he paid has done an amazing job)
Oh god. Idk how I'll handle the video. After finishing the quest, I got excited to go back and see iggy because he was the last to remain. His death hit hard.
After the DLC comes out, and you get tired of making lore videos, you should make a movie based on your own ideal play through, build set up, and head canon lore for your personal Tarnished character. Commission a mod for custom armor or a weapon, and just take us your fans on a trip through the Lands Between, with all your clever camera work, custom soundtrack, and epic narration. Tell us your own story, loud enough for FromSoftware to hear and commend. You're like the equivalent of the Spider-verse movies, but instead of making a comic book come to life, you do it with Souls games.
So excited!!! This is handsdown my favorite video series. The production quality is always through the roof and Elden Ring's lore is just the absolute best !!! I've got over 300 hours in Elden Ring and I think I've watched over 100 hours of lore content. This game and channel is seriously AMAZING
This video hits close because just yesterday in a replay Blaidd decided it was ok to die when jumping down the tower after doing the snap fingers thing.
I’d love a series where there’s episodic, re-animated scenes that depict events you only read about in any of these games. Like telling a section of history in it based on all that’s been interpreted especially in your vids. A way to visually bridge gaps. With fan added lines, script and animators for articulate scenes. But it’d be an undertaking. Like a VaatiVidya What If…? Or “What might have been”
The beauty and artistry of Elden Ring. Complete game, 0 microtransactions, no battlepass (even if it was a basketball game), no lectures, just a great escape . they fear because they know they can`t do it.
Unlike the other Prepare to Cry videos, this one is atleast bittersweet. Because as hopeless as losing their gods and everything they believed in, the people in The Lands Between can still find a way to adapt and overcome whatever happens by themselves, no need of external help.
The beauty of Elden Ring is breathtaking. I'm glad creators like you exist to help share it with everyone. This is going to be a special video, I cannot wait to watch it!
Hey there, if you'd still like to start it, go to mistwood ruins (by the bears from patches chest). You'll hear howling, then go to the first merchant you meet and get the finger snapping gesture, then snap your fingers by the ruins where you heard the howling and talk to him. It continues at the forlorn hound evergaol then at ranni. Hope this helps
Man...why you gotta hurt me like this. Lol I'm at work and I'm already tearing up thinking about this. That gave me goosebumps, good lord was that cool. Also I thought I had a stroke at first when I saw Vatti Vodya. Lol I didn't know you had a second channel.
I’m not quite sure we’re this sits as far as media. On one hand I wish cinematically like this were already in the game, however I love the lack of direct story these games have. But this is fantastic, it makes me fall in love all over again
The cinematography in these videos are outrageously good. So hyped for this
indeed

omg the track based on the ancestrals song is so beautiful and epic, cant waait to hear it in full.

I am sure you heard it by now. Sounds absolutley amazing. Idk how ppl do that.
@@redbirb1571 it truly is magical
This level of quality is unbelievably good

Dude, that was indeed awesome!!
Traveling through the Eternal Cities is always my favorite part of repeat playthroughs
this trios story is so beautifully woven and yet so terribly heartbreaking. thank you for taking the time to tell it, i’m really looking forward to it.
If the trailer is THIS good, then the full video will be beyond fantastic! Congrats to everyone that worked on both this trailer and the coming video!
Wake up babe a new Vaati trailer dropped!
This feels like a trailer for a movie, I am so excited for this!
Can't get over killing blaidd after all this time
He's still alive, in our memories.
Also that wasn't Blaidd, that was just a vassal of the fingers.
@@calibula95 Seems like someone hasn't come back to Ranni's tower xD
@@hellion1193yeah lol
Like putting down Old Yeller
@@hellion1193No, i already killed Red-eyed Blaidd. He was but a husk, sadly, taken over by the Greater Will.

Ive been waiting for this one for a long time. Ranni's questline has to be my favorite in ER.

You can count he probably did A LOT of research for this. By reading Reddit posts and writing in Google Documents.

There is always such artistry in these videos. Vaati’s passion reaches beyond the stars.
this is honestly one of the best trailers i’ve seen. some of the shots are unreal, amazing choice from the OST aswell
Song name?
Not an OST, it's fan made
Just done this quest. Honestly hyped to see the whole quest being put into a movie-quality video.
actual cinema. loved the shots of Nokron and that one rotating camera shot of the ballista
excited
This is… I can’t even say, beautiful is a understatement
As always, the editing is UNREAL! I’m hype for this like a new movie coming out! Thank you Vaati! ❤️
More hype than trailers for full-on games
man the music giving me chills
Cant wait for this Prepare to Cry! Age of Stars was the ending I got
Vaati once again reminding us why his channel is the GOAT for lore videos: can’t wait to see the full thing!!!
The shot with the soldier cranking the weapon back with the camera spinning. Holy shit so good
this harmonized rendition of the melody sung by the ancestral follower shaman is insane fr
Oh god. Idk how I'll handle the video. After finishing the quest, I got excited to go back and see iggy because he was the last to remain. His death hit hard.
This means Goldmask ending is the final one.
Goldmask is the only woman I'll simp for

Woman?
Absolutely stunning!!! Gave me Chills! Can't wait to watch it! 😯
This weekend! Im so fortunate! Thank you so much for showing this franchise so much love
The quality is insane. This is premium stuff. Talented folks!

"Now cometh an Age of Stars. A thousand year voyage under the wisdom of the Moon"
This is where the fun begins
My favourite ending, and may I be so bold as to claim 'the most positive' ending!
I was so pumped to see the notification and when I saw the video was under 50 minutes my heart sank 😔 So excited for this ✨
Vaati what in the world. All of these shots look gorgeous. and this is just the trailer
Best questine, best set of characters. Favorite ending. This video is going to be a masterclass video from Vaati and Co. I can't wait.
The production of the videos become better and bigger with each video. That is amazing!
This video hits close because just yesterday in a replay Blaidd decided it was ok to die when jumping down the tower after doing the snap fingers thing.
Good thing that Carbot is doing their three parter. Means I will understand visually what Vaati is rambling on about.
I wasn’t prepared for how hard this went that’s for sure great job!

I've being waiting for these prepare to cry more than movies on the big screen
This Prepare to cry (just a feeling) will be the longest yet and I can't wait Ranni's is so ridiculously long
Loved doing Ranni/Blaidd's questlines for the Age of Stars ending and looking forward to all the lore being explained in full Vaati detail.
Oh man!! I can’t wait! I love the sense of comradery i felt in the scenes pulled from the Radahn fight! Super looking forward to it! 😁✨

AC6 comes next week AND I GET TO LOOK FORWARD TO A VAATI VID. So glad I didn’t walk in front of that train when I was 16
I hope we get to hear our (the tarnished) theme. I'm talking about Radagon's theme but I truly believe it's our theme.
I want to watch this at a theater. Looks & sounds excellent!

This is probably my favorite Prepare to Cry trailer since the Dark Souls 1 Prepare to Cry trailers.

Finally, so everyone will understand the beauty of the message that this ending is tryin to leave to everyone
Alexander, iji, Hewgand blidd, and boggart these 5 were the homies and i lost all of them 😢
Can't wait for this one. Might be more melancholy in tone than the Frenzied flame one, and that hit hard
Blaidd, alexander and tge tarnished , jumping to Radhan. That scene was almost a Painting by it self.
At last, we get to see the Raging Wolf Armored Protagonist in a prepare to cry movie.
