Omg! I remember this! I was a senior in high school at the time,my high school is close to MSU and I remember everybody was talking about this the next day. It was all over the local papers, news, etc... I was so jealous at the MSU students that got to be there! Probably the best thing that happened at MSU.

No, while yes he was on drugs, he wasn't "super high" at this point. He was working intense hours on 8-mile and started taking ambien to get real sleep. The dude just wasn't getting good sleep at this time. The hardcore stuff came later.
