It’s such a small and amazing touch to have him throw out that one “Yo…” right before he chokes. Shows he was actually trying and coming up blank as opposed to him being silent the whole time, which might look like he was angry at the crowd for turning on him or something.

The way he looks at Cheddah you could tell he was like "shit you're right" and he was thinking about it and planned for the rebuttle.
Indeed. I don't think a lot has been said about Em's range in this movie.
He clearly isn't a thespian, but you could see him piecing it together gradually as the camera held on his face. There was even the subtle emergence of a smirk when he had his eureka moment.
All this without him saying a word and coming across as stoic. Eminem acts a lot with his eyes too, but then again, he does have a naturally intense gaze in real life.
I always felt like this final battle scene was kind of a gateway to his soul in some way.

Now, I don't know anything first-hand about this culture and lifestyle, BUT...
I wonder how realistic it was for Papa Doc to say "Let's roll" at the end, and his gang is like, "Yeah, this is stupid, let's get outta here."
Like, bruh, you just got humiliated in front of everyone; not only that, but you didn't even try to battle back. You just gave up. There is no way you are playing that off and still calling the shots.
I would imagine that he would still be a part of their gang, or "family", but no longer in any kind of leadership role. I would have expected them to express at least a little frustration toward Papa Doc and having little throw-away lines like "Why'd you choke, man?"
