Hey Aaron! that chip that you wired is producing the pp5v1_touch_vddtx_s2 and the reset_L. You should have tried to power those lines first from an external source, maybe the swap wouldn't be needed
Interesting! Did you know the net names by comparing to another board or do you have a software that shows the lines? Either way, I still had no battery data so I would have been stuck with 3 min reboot.
@@iBoardRepair Oh, I know the net names as I worked at apple developing the boards :))) Just kidding... I had an interesting case with a 14 pro max with no touch. C5696 was shorted - it just connects to one of the pins of U9110. Very difficult to investigate... took me a while to figure it out this SMPS circuit. I have extrapolated from the 13PRO board which has a few net names on the display connector in the JC Drawing software which I rarely use. Also, compared with a good working board the way the supply works. An oscilloscope comes in handy for this crap
Silly iPhones, if there's a lock code on the screen then a USB mouse dongle won't work (only if there's no code). Virtually all Androids allow the use of a USB mouse for touch to at least backup the data. smh I bet this was an expensive lesson for the iSheep customer. lol
Found your channel on the fb group, amazing content
Thank you for making these videos!
You're welcome!
after a swap , the guy of shop told me the cpu is dead, is it possible to send that to you to check ? I'm in Mexico and can't lose the content
How much heat do you use on your soldering iron?

I saw that you made an oscilloscope video but I haven't watched it yet. It is on my watch list though! I don't use one myself.
Please share microscope and camera details

parco trinocular
Yours, shared knowledge
That is optika ?
I hope you charged more than 350 for this kind of work, it certainly is worth it.
I appreciate that you agree with that!
Based on the crazy amount of work, this would easily be worth around $1,000, also depending on the importance of the data.
