The “Trudy’s eyes” episode was so well done, one of my favorite episodes that had a beautiful ending. When I saw it for the first time… I choked up with tears and also was amazed on how the writers ended that episode.
I really enjoy reading the comments bc I get to remember all these other moments that aren’t included in this video. Like when Ambrose admits to feeling like Trudy’s death is his fault bc she was picking up his medication. She was so loving to so many people and it’s wonderful to see how she impacted other people.
The sweetest moment (for me) that involved his wife is the episode when Stottlemeyer moves in with Monk for a few days and the coffee table in front of the sofa is on a funny angle that Stottlemeyer keeps straightening up. It's only revealed at the very end that Monk keeps it at that angle because his wife had moved it closer to put her feet on while watching TV together ❤
That scene with Maria always makes me cry.😢 I also know it wasn’t the real Trudy, but when Monk is holding that woman who pretended to be her, him just breaking down crying as he pulls her in close is so unbelievably heart wrenching.😭
I really wish Trudy’s case got more focus but I was glad we got a proper conclusion for it. I just wish we didn’t go several consecutive seasons with no updates and then the key to solving her case being a deus ex machina of sorts….
I get what you mean, at the same time there’s something really touching about Trudy helping him with solving this case, this weight that he was bearing for twelve years.
Tony Shaloub is Lebanese. Maronite Christian. He might have some Arab ancestry and might not. Most Lebanese people aren’t genetically Arab. Most of them are Phoenician
She had an adventure before meeting Monk and got pregnant, Adrian, despite getting poisoned, confronted the ex-lover of Trudy who turned out to be a murderer, his first victim was a nurse where Trudy's daughter was born in, the bones of the nurse were found, Adrian insisted that the murderer keep digging with a showel for that reason. The nurse worked in the same hospital.
It explains it in the video if you watch it, but - No she didn't cheat on him. When she was younger before she and Adrian met, she dated her law professor, Ethan Rickover, who taught at their college. He was married but she didn't know that until after the affair had started (presumably, she ended it when she found out he was married). However, she got pregnant as a result of the affair. Rickover wanted to make sure that the existence of the child would never be found out and would never affect his marriage or his career, so he paid off the midwife (Wendy Stroud) that delivered Trudy's baby to falsify records and make some swaps so that Trudy believed her child had died, even though she was alive and had just been put up for adoption to hide her existence from everyone. That way, Trudy wouldn't ask for money or child support, he could make the affair and the birth disappear, and the existence of a secret love child would never come back to haunt him. Many years later, Rickover was about to get a big promotion, he was nominated to be a judge in the court of appeals. That was newsworthy, and both Trudy and Wendy knew about the nomination. Wendy couldn't live with the guilt, had become a born again Christain and wanted to make up for her lie about the child. She was going to tell Trudy, tell everyone, what had happened and come clean, spurred by the idea that a man like Rickover might become such an important judge and by her guilt and faith (not unlike how past victims of some real-life figures will come forward when they know that said figure is up for an important post, as they are sometimes pushed out of their silence by the desire to ensure such a person doesn't hold power). So Rickover had her killed - Monk was working on her case when Trudy was killed - and then to make sure Trudy didn't live long enough to make any connections and that her husband, the brilliant Monk, would never solve Wendy's murder and end up finding out everything, he had Trudy killed as well. To do this, Rickover hired a contract killer named Frank Nunn to kill both women. Nunn, a six fingered man, in turn hired Warwick Tennyson to make him a bomb, which Nunn then planted and detonated to kill Trudy. After Monk learns the truth and confronts Rickover, Rickover kills himself and says "you take care of her." in his dying moment. Monk eventually figures out that Trudy's daughter is alive, and that all Rickover's actions had been to cover up her birth and history. She was put up for adoption and is now a young adult, mid 20's, named Molly Evans living happily and working on a career as a writer. What Rickover meant by his dying words was for Monk to take care of his and Trudy's daughter, who he had obviously wanted to live a good life in spite of all the awful things he did to cover her up. Hopefully that answers the question thoroughly!
The first scene hits me very hard.
"I'm afraid of changing, and I'm afraid of NOT changing."
I've been there and it sucks, it really does.
I see this channel is trying to make everyone cry on a friday
Same

I love how much this show showed Monks love for Trudy.

HAHA I recall it too....
I loved this too! She was reading a book and she offered him to put his head in her lap because he was so tired.
Probably the only thing he doesn’t keep perfectly straightened in his whole life. It was definitely a sweet moment

The present is such a fantastic plot device.
Monk was only able to move forward by letting go.
It's also a great analogy.
The present was keeping him in the past, but by finally opening it and moving on, he was given a great future.
This is such a beautiful show, I’m so glad I got to grow up with this!
Saaame. I ditched cartoons for this show. So worth it.
Same
Same. This show is my childhood and it impacted me so much 🤍
I love how mild mannered he is unless it comes to Trudy
One of my most favorite shows of all time
Mine to

This show broke my heart as a kid

It’s amazing how you can see how with Trudy his quirks are still there but way more toned down
For Trudy, Monk will throw down on the most filthiest of surfaces.😂😂😂
LOL true
@@iamme25yago for Sharona technically
Could you please do a updated version of this video with all the parts in every season that has to do with Trudy
From Adrian Monk to Michael Scott. What was Jan thinking?
8:57 Ambros making me cry here…
Sweet couple, Trudy n Adrian:)
Jan, Angela, Packer, and Dwight went through tough times, after they were done with Scranton.
Monk and Trudy❤
11:52 -- Inigo searched for this guy for years.
名探偵モンクが大好きです!新作を期待しています!
Just realised that Trudy is Jan.
If only trudy told her about her fears that day 😭😭😭😭😭
Trudy was the only person that loved Adrian for who he is.
2:49, disgusting.
Even his co-hosts think he's over the line.
This actor ist a friend of Shalhoub since "Wings" and I read that he rwall refused to play that disgusting scene. Didn't Help obviously😢
I was doing fine, until the last scene....😭
I have never understood how Maria got Trudy's eyes since she died in an explosion 🤔🤔🤔
It said he was by her side when she died so she must have lived long enough to make it to the hospital. Like soldiers who survive ied's.
ouchie 💔
C'est comme le genre de la série Médium
Omgg mes deux séries préférées de tout l’univers !!! Comment ça le même genre ?
Can u guys post the scene where captain thought monk died , was good acting by captain
If I had a nickel for each person I knew looking for a six fingered man, I’d have three nickels.
Which is not much but its strange it happened 3 times.
This show so sad. I’ve been. Making songs using his my wife died in a car bombing
This channel has given me so much content to use for my prod tag. So sad this show but lovely show
It would be great if monk end up with trudy daughter just like they did with renesmee Jacob?
What ethnicity was monk Jewish? Russian? Arabic? Middle Eastern? Italian?
