This special aired in February, but it always felt something like a "It's spring, but it's not Easter yet" sort of special. Could be either before or after Arbor Day, but I'm leaning towards after. Arbor Day is when you start smelling the first fragrance of spring, then It's A Mystery, then Easter Beagle.
THANK YOU, This is my favorite Guaraldi score and this is the one that I've really really been waiting for all this time ever since people started isolating and posting them
I'm honestly hoping that there's no time for love at some point between Arbor Day and you're not elected they have to be one of my favorite scores from Guaraldi
Again with this soundtrack, the dubs have the music shifted. You get to hear the clean intro to the breathy Mystery Theme without sound effects over it. Might be worth looking into.
Yes I had to reduce the pitch by almost 2% so it would match the TV audio. Strange, certain songs on the studio copy of "Thanksgiving" suffers from the same problem. I always use the TV version as the definitive Master, no matter what.
@@spetragl I would have to assume it's partly because certain airings or releases of these specials are sped up? I have noticed that this happens in European airings of American shows sometimes, because of PAL vs NTSC. Perhaps more people are aware of these sped up versions?
@@ErikaFurudo1986 It's odd because not all the songs in this soundtrack had that speed problem. The few others that were replaced with studio copies were OK. I ran into the same problem with the Vinyl copy of "Thanksgiving". A couple of the songs differ from the TV soundtrack due to the same speed issue. To keep my sanity, I match every soundtrack I make to the TV soundtrack. Any differences are an issue and have to be repaired to match.
Isn’t the mystery theme just a smooth version of Woodstock's Dream (or "Snoopy and Woodstock" as people correct it) also I faintly hear the voices in Sassy Sally
Yes, Vince was creating both "Mystery" and "Easter Beagle" at the same time. So I'm not surprised one track sounds like another. And yes "Vocal Removal" AI is not perfect; so you can always expect some fx of soft voices to sneak through.
Such an underrated score - thank you so much!

Muito obrigado por postar essa trilha sonora do episódio é um mistério Charlie Brown spetragl estava a muito tempo aguardando.
Desenho espetacular e trilha sonora igual.
Thanks so much for this!

This soundtrack was created with AI software. It's not perfect but it's similar to "It's The Easter Beagle" .
4:35 I love how you can just barely hear Charlie Brown going "good grief"
You are a saint. This is my favorite Guaraldi score and it’s not even close - he went HARD on the groovy bits in this.
(I’m aware it’s AI doing the isolating bit - but stacked up against the Lost Cues it’s really doing a good job)

I laughed at Judge Lucy's rough verdict😂

The copy I have 720x480 eng, span, port, jap AC3 1ch isn't that lucky. I hear fx in all of them.
I must say, I think I prefer how this special's version of Joe Cool sounds with this pitch over the one released in soundtracks!
