The golden orange color apparently represents amber - Lithuania's national stone. 🧡
Love the song, I think subtlety is beautiful. The folklore moments are magical, especially when all of the women move closer to each other and form a circle.

Yes, this is not the 8th wonder of the world but she won tonight for a reason. The song is very charming and endearing, it has something that a lot of ballads in eurovision lack and it makes you wanna root for her and her team. She had THE BEST live tonight without a doubt and could challenge Blanca Paloma for the best vocal performance of the edition. She is a professional artist who's already done this and she has great fashion style. I honestly see this qualifying and doing ok in the final.

Monika did so well and it was in my top 3 of the night, maybe even top 2 or winner :o. It really surprised me. For some reason during the heats I felt the song really struggled with its transitions between verse and chorus and its repetition. But tonight it was seamless and I don't know what happened but between this and the addition of the Lithuanian language, I was so pleasantly surprised. The song was magically more dynamic. And sung so perfectly. The backing vocals and Monika's vocals were pristine. It really did come together.
And the wild thing is 20 days ago I had this as my #16 in my personal rankings. It really did elevate.

It's nice, great vocals, love the backing vocalists as well, but I don't know, if it's enough to qualify, maybe if it's the last or 2nd to last song that's performed on stage, I don't know. With juries put in place, I'd say, it could be qualifying, but with public only, I'm a little concerned. They need to leave at least 6 songs behind them, so maybe some countries need to make terrible decisions in their pre-selections so that Lithuania could still push through. But I'm not saying, that's impossible. We will see, when we've got all the songs, or at least after the rehearsals, if it's got a shot to qualify.

In a year where there is no jury to help this song qualify. Ruta’s song is superior in every aspect and repeatedly topped the semi’s in the lead up the final, meanwhile Monika couldn’t get past 4th place. This is such a shame as Ruta’s song perfectly fit in with beloved recent entries like Monika Liu and the Roop - it would have definitely qualified and probably done extremely well in the final and now we’re stuck with something which probably won’t even see the final at all.
